I was in an unfortunate situation where I had to sell my father’s property due to him going into a nursing home.
This was the first time in dealing with selling a property. Alan was instructed as the estate agent, and I’m so glad. Alan was very sympathetic to my situation, although he was very professional throughout, he took me under his wing and led me through a tough situation. There was ups and downs along the way but Alan showed his experience and resolved the issues I was experiencing. I would also like to add that he went above and beyond to support me as I was making this sale from over 400 miles away. Alan supported thing there, were I couldn’t have made that journey. The communication was key for me, from Alan, he kept up to date with all the progress and changes.
I would highly recommend the company and certainly Alan is your man.

Me and my family were pretty desperate to rent a house due to our landlord selling the house. And we met Alan at Harrison,great man,great service,really helpfull with everything. Just needed to thank all at Harrison.
We needed a local agent to help sell our Beach Hut. From the first phone call Alan was friendly and professional. Edward also helped with phone updates & finance. Communication were frequent with updates throughout the whole process.
The marketing was also excellent resulting in a sale within days.
If you need a trusted Agent in this area look no further. Highly recommended.

Edward and Alan are part of the “dream team” of rental Agents They have handled my rental property for several years and I couldn’t hope for better service. The attention to detail and support they gave me during my first forage into the rental market has been second to none. I firmly believe they manage to look after the interests not only of the Landlord but the Tenants as well. Five star service is a reality from this Company. Thanks guys!

Harrisons of New Milton will reply to this denying this collective, family review. Horror story damp issues in their badly rented property!
BEWARE! Harrison’s in New Milton managed for a private landlord.
1. DAMP and mound everywhere...
When we viewed this property we saw a dehumidifier in the dinning room. We asked if there had been any damp issues. The lady from Harrison’s told us "no problems with damp at all". She also told my partner the same when he viewed the property.
We felt completely let down and misled when soon after moving in we experienced HORRENDOUS damp problems. We called in environmental health and Harrison rapidly got builders in to fit vents in the main roof as the ventilation was poor in the property.
2. ELECTRIC SHOCKS...
I had a big electric shock from a light switch. The light switch unit was replaced very quickly after reporting it to Harrison's. One month later my partner had a BIG electric shock from the same switch. I questioned Harrison's and asked if the wiring had been checked and they said "oh no just the plastic switch has been replaced". They then investigated further find faulty wiring, surprise surprise.
Harrison's were quick to respond BUT...This property was cheaply maintained, not safe to let. There was even tarmac subsidence in the front drive/garden area of the property too.
Harrison's would do better to avoid clients such as this.
I'm sure that Harrison's will reply to this with their very “copy and paste” stock answers about managing condensation and having the heating on and windows open but this was another level of damp. The attic was a sea of green mound on top of the loft insulation because of poor ventilation. It’s a shame it took 8 months and lots of stress to get this sorted.
The fact is Harrison's you caused us a lot of alarm and distress for a year of our lives and let me, my partner and our little 4 year old girl down BIG TIME!
Harrisons have responed and tried to brush this review off BUT future customers must know that this is NOT the way to do business and should check the property and the landlords letting standards before it goes on the market!
We sincerely hope that no other family has this experience.
AVOID! At all costs!

Alan, What a great agent! So supportive and understanding of my situation. Went above and beyond to assist me in renting a property. All for me to have to decline due to unforseen circumstances, which I feel awful about as the service and personable approach is one that I have not experienced before with agents.
My holding deposit was returned to me the same day I explained my situation as to why I couldn't go forward with the rental.
Such an amazing experience with this agency! So impressed. Efficient, personable and reliable!
Highly recommended!
