Alan was on the case every minute, pushing solicitors advising his customers on the next way forward, has great contacts house clearance, surveyors you name it. They have to be the best in the business!!

I was in an unfortunate situation where I had to sell my father’s property due to him going into a nursing home.
This was the first time in dealing with selling a property. Alan was instructed as the estate agent, and I’m so glad. Alan was very sympathetic to my situation, although he was very professional throughout, he took me under his wing and led me through a tough situation. There was ups and downs along the way but Alan showed his experience and resolved the issues I was experiencing. I would also like to add that he went above and beyond to support me as I was making this sale from over 400 miles away. Alan supported thing there, were I couldn’t have made that journey. The communication was key for me, from Alan, he kept up to date with all the progress and changes.
I would highly recommend the company and certainly Alan is your man.

Just needed to thank all at Harrison.
We needed a local agent to help sell our Beach Hut. From the first phone call Alan was friendly and professional. Edward also helped with phone updates & finance. Communication were frequent with updates throughout the whole process.
The marketing was also excellent resulting in a sale within days.

Harrisons of New Milton will reply to this denying this collective, family review. Horror story damp issues in their badly rented property!
BEWARE! Harrison’s in New Milton managed for a private landlord.
1. DAMP and mound everywhere...
When we viewed this property we saw a dehumidifier in the dinning room. We asked if there had been any damp issues. The lady from Harrison’s told us "no problems with damp at all". She also told my partner the same when he viewed the property.
We felt completely let down and misled when soon after moving in we experienced HORRENDOUS damp problems. We called in environmental health and Harrison rapidly got builders in to fit vents in the main roof as the ventilation was poor in the property.
2. ELECTRIC SHOCKS...
I had a big electric shock from a light switch. The light switch unit was replaced very quickly after reporting it to Harrison's. One month later my partner had a BIG electric shock from the same switch. I questioned Harrison's and asked if the wiring had been checked and they said "oh no just the plastic switch has been replaced". They then investigated further find faulty wiring, surprise surprise.
Harrison's were quick to respond BUT...This property was cheaply maintained, not safe to let. There was even tarmac subsidence in the front drive/garden area of the property too.
Harrison's would do better to avoid clients such as this.
I'm sure that Harrison's will reply to this with their very “copy and paste” stock answers about managing condensation and having the heating on and windows open but this was another level of damp. The attic was a sea of green mound on top of the loft insulation because of poor ventilation. It’s a shame it took 8 months and lots of stress to get this sorted.
The fact is Harrison's you caused us a lot of alarm and distress for a year of our lives and let me, my partner and our little 4 year old girl down BIG TIME!
Harrisons have responed and tried to brush this review off BUT future customers must know that this is NOT the way to do business and should check the property and the landlords letting standards before it goes on the market!
We sincerely hope that no other family has this experience.

Alan, What a great agent! So supportive and understanding of my situation. Went above and beyond to assist me in renting a property. All for me to have to decline due to unforseen circumstances, which I feel awful about as the service and personable approach is one that I have not experienced before with agents.
My holding deposit was returned to me the same day I explained my situation as to why I couldn't go forward with the rental.
Such an amazing experience with this agency! So impressed. Efficient, personable and reliable!

This platform exists so that people can have a voice and to help others NOT to be poorly treated.
Our family had a REALLY BAD experience here and don’t want others to go through the same.
Including;
Mouldy rooms.. WE COULD SMELL DAMP IN OUR 5 YEAR OLD HAIR FROM HER BEDROOM!
Environmental health called due to an extremely damp property.
We had electric shocks from a light switch.
Poor ventilation.
Collapsed garage due to damp.
Please AVOID!

Throughout the tenancy management of both properties, I could not be more pleased with the speed of response, the attention to detail that ensured both the tenant and I, as Landlord receive great service and always with an eye on cost efficiency. When the time came to sell one of the properties, I was kept fully informed at every stage of the negotiations, and the Harrison's team did everything they could to ensure the sale went through smoothly.
If you are looking for an agent to represent you well, who understands the market place and is always professional, I could not recommend the team at Harrison's highly enough. They have been just brilliant.

Me and my Husband have been renting from Harrisons for almost 3 years now and have found them absolutely brilliant! Any problem was sorted as quickly as they could, I was kept updated on any issues by email and Edward has even phoned at 9pm well after office hours to check we were okay when our power was out knowing our baby was 2 months old. Literally couldn't have asked for better service or more caring people which is what you want as moving is stressful enough already! We've even stayed with them moving into our 2nd property from Harrisons and Alan especially made that a very smooth process. In short I can't recommend Harrisons enough! The whole team is fantastic but Alan is definitely my favourite he is very professional, friendly and has a great sense of humour.

Where do I start? This estate agent has to be the best I have ever used or heard of! We first started renting through harrison just over 2 years ago and they were amazing. Any work they mentioned was prompt on time and fit within our home lives.
Call up with a problem? Have it sorted very fast! Some times with in a few hours of the issue. Open and honest when renting the property with any issues that the property has previous had and how we can best avoid this.
Edward and Alan are a credit to the industry and to harrision business they have recently help myself my wife and 3 children move into a 3 bedroom house within the area! It's a lovely house and have been extremely helpful every step of the way!

About ten years ago, Alan found a flat to let my flatmate and I. After receiving all the money, Alan and his boss Harrison decided to make up some excuse to kick us out of the apartment. And did not give us any chance to explain. And yes, they just swept all out stuffs out of the apartment included every new furniture we bought within one month.
Let me remind you, there is a granny live under and keep making non sense complains, such as about 6pm said we are making so much noise when moving in and setting up new furniture.

My mum is a recent new tenant in a property managed by Harrison. I have to say,from the initial phonecall I could tell good client care is in place. Thank you Shirley for giving a fantastic first impression. On viewing the property we met Alan. Very down to earth , gave us the answers to our questions and actually a funny guy. Very professional. A few days after moving in, we discovered the hot water wasn't heating. I made a call to the office and was introduced to Edward. On explanation of the problem, Edward said he would make some calls and get back to me. He did, as did the technician who arranged an appointment time. Within 24hrs it was repaired and mum had hot water.
I don't normally write reviews but I feel in this case they all deserve the recognition for giving good customer service. Well done for doing a great job. Thank you.

if you want an agent that will book you an appointment try harrison most don't
if you want an agent that will do its best to help if DSS kids pets then harrisons will help most won't
if you want an agent that the owner answers the phone in and works then harrison again
and most important if something dose go wrong and its down to them they sort it out fit and fair

I am normally not one to post reviews on services received however, on this occasion I have made time to share our very positive experience when dealing with Edward and his team.
Over the last 10 and 1/2 years we have dealt with numerous realty letting agents (including some of "BIG" national "reputable" ones out there). For the last four years we have rented a property is the village of Sway through Harrison Estate Agents where we were very, very happy. We felt, as clients, considered, valued and above all respected at all times. The fact that we believed ourselves to be good tenants, was confirmed during our recent vacating of the property for personal reasons, where the outstanding team supported us in every way - above and beyond and had our very best interests at heart throughout the process; Edward and Allan supported us in their appreciation in us a good clients and did their utmost to accommodate us and the landlords, fairly and professionally.

Just sold my property through the Homesale Direct route. I was quite sceptical at first, but after meeting Brett and having the process fully explained to me, it seemed like a no brainer. The nitty gritty was managed by the Homesale Direct team (Rightmove posting, photos, floor plans ETC) It was just down to me to show the property to prospective buyers and negotiate the sale price.
Having a business background I really enjoyed being hands on in the selling process myself, but it won't suit everyone. What I liked about the Homesale Direct package was that it offered the traditional estate agency route through Harrisons, if I struggled with handling the sales process myself. And the fee I had paid to Homesale would be taken off of Harrison's sale commission, so again a no brainer. All in all I was really impressed, and will be using these guys again.

Homesale Direct, for me, is the future of selling your home. No pushy agents trying to get their commission meant a realistic market value for our home. Dealing with a local established business rather than a website meant we were re-assured every step of the way and amazingly £350 got us a sales brochure of our home, a proper plan of the property and it also connected us to advertising on all the major websites such as Rightmove, we also had an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) produced and a personalised “For Sale” board.
What more do you need?!!?
