Formed in 2000 Ross Nicholas and Company is a wholly owned private practice, owned by Ross Nicholas Wilkins who is based at our successful New Milton Office catering for all aspects in estate agency. In 2006 Ross Nicholas and Company acquired Murray and Morris which had an established central trading position in the village of Highcliffe for over 35 years which was refurbished and rebranded and computer linked to our New Milton Office. The office is now run by George Gosling who has extensive experience and local knowledge backed by an excellent team of four.
With offices in prime locations on both New Milton and Highcliffe high streets, Ross Nicholas & Company is proud to offer a personal and efficient service to buyers, sellers, tenants and landlords of property in Hampshire and Dorset. Never get back to you, or respond to emails. We called and called to get viewings after using Ross Nicholas as agents before and were just let down time and time again, being told that they would get back to us with a time but never bothered. Just disgraceful really. There is no fair chance for anyone when dealt with like that.

I had the bungalow we were selling valued by three estate agents. Ross Nicholas's valuation was lower than the other two companies, and so I went with one of the higher valuations. It was obvious after a few months that the valuations from the other two estate agents were far too high and that the Ross Nicholas one was accurate. I swapped estate agents to Ross Nicholas and have found their service excellent. They communicate well and give helpful feedback following viewings. I'm glad we chose this company to deal with. We are 'non residents' of the area, selling our recently departed parents' home. Everyone at Ross Nicholas has been kind and helpful to us, and we have always felt 'relaxed' in the knowledge that they were acting totally professionally and diligently on our behalf. The initial visit from Ross was thorough, clear, reassuring and honest. Marketing was extremely swift, and 5 days after that initial visit, we had a buyer! Everyone in their team has been helpful, and kept us in touch throughout the somewhat protracted (not their fault) sale process. Special mention must go to Justin who has cheerfully fielded my grumbles and rants, especially over the last couple of weeks, and has gone to great lengths to get the sale through. The entire Ross Nicholas team were incredibly communicative and responsive throughout our transaction which occurred during the completely unprecedented period of end of the Stamp Duty holiday.
Justin was our direct agent and he was incredible, ‘owned’ the deal from start to finish, took on activities outside of his direct responsibilities to ensure the deal went through. We hit some complications, Justin was front of foot suggesting practical mitigations and solutions, that we used and saved the deal from the jaws of defeat. Had it of gone west, we’d of lost a lot of money, our belongings spread across multiple storage units and us needing to find a rental (when there are none as everyone is trying to move to the coast with the new work from home focus!) with 3 dogs, in a week… Horrifying, the stakes were high – but we worked with Justin to craft a solution that worked for everyone, this is what being a good estate agent is all about.
Ross Nicholas will be my first port of call when we wish to sell and on the tip of my tongue when giving recommendations to others.

Not a letting agent to trust. We found them dishonest and fraudulent, clearly using tenants deposit to line the pocket of the landlord in a dishonest way.
Following further information from other residents and local authority we are looking to forward a complaint to the property ombudsman there was also a refusal to show a gas safety certificate. When asked twice at start of tenancy and never shown one.
As stated in the opening line not a letting agent to trust. And the landlord was clearly dishonest and in on the scam.

If you are thinking of renting a property I would highly recommend Ross Nicholas & Company, their fees are realistic compared to other agents and I found the complete experience a refreshing change. I would highly recommend this independent agency.
