This is the worst agency ever. Especially the male dealing with lettings. I understand that you need to ask questions but this is not a police station and I'm not under investigation ???? and I didn't even see the place yet. Don't bother, more agencies to choose from on High Road

I worked with Gyan to find a LOVELY apartment that met all of our needs. During the process, I interacted with at least ten other estate agents and Gyan was my favorite. He was friendly, straightforward, knowledgeable, and genuine. It didn’t feel like I was dealing with a Foxtons agent only trying to meet their commission for the month.
He has also been fantastic and responsive throughout the lease agreement process. Working with Gyan was a refreshing experience in the London rental market.

A great experience with Haven, from arranging the viewing to moving in! Gyan is easily the best estate agent we have ever met. He was super helpful at all stages, including communication and finding smart solutions (including various glitches with the automated referencing service). You know you could trust him when he says ‘leave it with me’ ;-) He even jumped into his car to find us and give us a lift when we were lost, and that was after finalising the deal. Elena was also very helpful with the contract and maintenance issues (although we didn’t deal with her as much). It’s very reassuring and refreshing that they don’t leave you to your own devices or ignore you, once the lease has been signed and paid (as can be the case with other agents). Efficient, considerate and proactive - the golden standard the industry should aspire to.

Genuinely cannot recommend them enough.
My partner and I have just purchased our first property and have heard all the horror stories of the stress of buying a place. Wayne Edmond’s at Haven took all of that away. He went above and beyond what we could have ever expected, noting was too big or too small and he showed a genuine interest in helping us throughout. Even once the purchase was complete we had some queries and he was quick as ever to help us out.
If you want a house purchase to be as smooth as it can be. GO WITH HAVEN!!

I had a generally good experience with this estate agent until it came to the renewal process. Three weeks before my notice period, they began contacting me excessively about renewing the contract. They proposed a rent increase from £1,750 to an unreasonable £1,900 for a small 38 sq. metre flat. For that price, I could easily find a two-bedroom flat in the same area!
The communication was not only excessive but also unsettling. I received an email requesting up-to-date photos of the flat, and just two hours later, another email stating the agent would “just turn up with the keys just in case.” The idea that someone might enter my home without my explicit consent was both unprofessional and invasive.
Moving is already stressful enough, to make matters worse, I later found out the flat was actually listed at £1,850—not even the £1,900 they tried to charge me. It felt like they were simply trying to squeeze as much as they could out of me.
While my experience before the renewal process was fine, the renewal itself was stressful, and the rent increase felt unjustified. I’d recommend caution when dealing with this estate agent, particularly when approaching contract renewals.

I have dealt with many estate agents over the years, and can confidently say Wayne at Haven in East Finchley is one of the best. To say he goes the extra mile is an understatement. More like running a marathon! He proactively contacts all interested parties including solicitors, management agents and trades to gently chivy them on, to the benefit of both vendor and buyer. Thereby truly creating a win / win situation in what can be a challenging time for most people.

We have found a property to buy through the agency. Not sure whether they don't check paperwork or just have done this intentionally, but the lease extension was about to be completed in 4 weeks as per the agent. After the offer was accepted our solicitors have checked the status and nothing really was done till the day. 3 months later, due to lack of any progress with the lease extension we have decided not to proceed. We have incurred quite significant legal costs due to misrepresentation of flat's legal status (stage of lease extension) by the agency. Would not recommend them!
