He has a vast network of potential buyers, who were booked in immediately after both listings. And he is a fantastic negotiator. What really sets him apart from other agents though is his absolute tenacity in getting the sale completed. Any hiccups, up or down the chains, he fixes wherever possible. We’ve moved out of the area now, but if I were Brighton and Hove based, I wouldn’t hesitate to use him and his fabulous team again and again.

When you move house it's vital that you engage agents who can sell the property but who also go that extra mile to ensure that it progresses to completion. We engaged Healy and Newsom because we thought they would offer what a good local, independent estate agent does best. They exceeded our expectations. We were able to move house because Rob Fane, from Healy & Newsom, kept his finger on the pulse and solved problems caused by others higher up the chain. His perseverance and persistence were outstanding, always keeping us informed and going well beyond what you could expect to make things happen. We chose Healy & Newsom for their local expertise and because Rob was friendly, knowledgeable and not at all pushy when he came round to value our flat. It was definitely the right decision! The whole team were proactive, responsive and friendly throughout and managed to secure us two buyers at a price we were happy with (as the first one unfortunately fell through).
We ended up working mostly with Simon which was a pleasure. He stayed in regular contact after we'd completed the chain, was patient with my questions and was proactive in seeing it through to exchange.

We recently bought our first home and Healy & Newsom were the Estate Agent for the Vendors. As it was our first home, we were unsure of the usual processes and everything was new for us. Simon, Rob and Jo guided us through the whole journey, from showing us round at the first viewing to handing over the keys once we had completed. Always there on the end of the phone or email, and incredibly prompt is responding to questions, however small.

Although I had done the usual thing of instantly falling in love with a property, Healy & Newson seemed to have the broadest range of properties in the area and I liked that they knew every property intimately and had great knowledge of the local area.
Everyone knows buying a house can be filled with anxiety, but for the first time ever, I was kept informed every step of the way and thanks to Simon and Healy & Newson I’m delighted I’ll be completing in the new year. Thanks guys, appreciate your professionalism and straight talking!

I have worked with many estate agents over the years, but Healy & Newson are at the top of their game.
When Simon first came to view the apartment, he was warm and friendly and spent over an hour assessing my needs and getting a feel for the apartment. As you would expect from a high end firm, Simon knew the market extremely well and had certainly done his homework. What was really impressive was his ability to adjust his valuation and pre-visit assessment based on his viewing and feeling the life of the property and the estate.
When I went to the office, I was greeted like I had become part of a little family. Their joyful rapport and banter with each other created a warmth more akin to that of a group of friends than an office. Everyone mirrored that professional experience which impressed me from the start. Everyone was up to speed and knew everything about the property. Options were laid before me, there was no pressure just friendly support and guidance. I can't praise the company enough. What they have achieved is a class act; professional and courteous. You are left feeling that they care more about the person sat in front of them than simply the sale of a property! I should say, I achieved more for more property than valued by other agents, who were cold and officious. Healy and Newson offered the best terms - being 0.5% under that of competitors.
