We switched to Herbert R Thomas after almost 6 months of being on the market, one viewing and no feedback from the potential purchasers.
The photos, house information and walkthrough video produced to a very high standard (compared to previous listing) and generated viewings immediately. Feedback was always passed on promptly and constructively.
Its fair to say the timing coincided with a very difficult time with mortgage rates, cost of living pressures so we did have buyers pulling out which was managed so well by the team at HRT we were encouraged that viewings commenced and we finally completed our move this week.
I would have absolutely recommend their services !!

When we first went with HRT Bridgend is was a rocky start. Feedback was not great and Stan was also very pushy in us reducing the property and made us feel under pressure. When it was reduced other homes in the area were then put on the market at a higher cost which was a let down and we couldn't put ours back up as it would not look good by Stan!
When the property was sold communication with Ann, Kim and Angharad was good. Angharad went above and beyond during the final leg of the sale. Going between solicitors, buyer and even the auction house. Angharad made the situation so much easier and we can not thank you enough for all your hard work! Angharad you should be proud of yourself for being an amazing front line worker for the company. They are lucky to have you!

On completing our sale and purchase in August 2022 we would like to relay a big "Thank you!" to the whole team. Having had a highly frustrating time finding the right property to purchase in the current market and getting over a few obstacles for completion HRT were nothing but exceptional.

I am writing this review to say how delighted we were with the sale of our property assisted by HRT, Bridgend. The viewings were undertaken with the upmost respect and professionalism.
Past experiences of selling a property have been much more stressful with us always having to chase solicitors etc. The sales management team were so efficient in ensuring this was undertaken and the communication was of a very high standard.

The policy of this company across its branches seems to be not to mark properties as STC in-spite of the fact that the property has been sold STC. Numerous properties show as available on their website and other property search sites weeks after offers have been accepted. If it's sold subject to contract say so - it's frustrating enough trying to buy in this current housing market.

We had an excellent service from HRT both as sellers and potential buyers. From the outset, the support we received was outstanding. Viewings on our property were arranged quickly and we were kept in the loop at all stages of the process. Their sales pack and website presentation was also of the highest quality and was instrumental in us achieving a sale within 24hrs of our property going to market. We considered using an online estate agent for a flat rate fee. HRT however provided superb communication at every stage and their knowledge of the local property market was vital. Special mention must go to Sales Manager Rebecca Davies who supported us with our potential purchase as well as our sale. Bec went well over and above expectations and went the extra mile when advice was needed. The service provided by Hrt was immaculate! Our house went up on the market around December 2019 and it was sold round the beginning of March 2020 and completion date was 21st of August 2020. If it wasn’t for Covid 19 we suspect this sale would have been completed far sooner.
We had, in the past, tried to sell this same house back in 2016 and 2017 with two other estate agents (one being an online only business) BOTH estate agents FAILED in selling so we decided to take a year or two break from trying to sell and gear ourselves up a third time to sell.
Hrt was by far the BEST estate agents we could have had! They really made selling our home this time round seem like a wonderful dream as opposed by the nightmares the other “Estate agents” put us through.
Do not listen to T.V ads with their BIG FAT LIES about how they do everything online and how its apparently stress free and cheaper, because it’s not!
Moving home is meant to be an exciting time. Hrt made this a reality for our growing family.
We HIGHLY recommend Hrt’s professional and exceptional service right from start to finish! We would most certainly call upon them again if ever the need to sell our house was to come up but for now all we can do and say is Hrt will sell your house and they will sell as stress free as ever.

During a long, tiring, depressing and often boring search for a new property, we were shown around a property in Pyle by Sam Griffin. Although the property wasn't quite what we wanted, Sam made the viewing a very good experience for us. He showed a great sense of humour, he was knowledgeable about the property, he gave good advice without sounding "pushy" and most importantly for us he was genuine and sincere. Both my wife and I were very impressed with the way he dealt with us during the viewing. Estate agents often get some bad press, maybe with good reason, Sam is a shining light in the business.

We'd tried to sell our house with 3 other agents (online and major brands), before HRT with no success. The effort these guys clearly put into their marketing of property, their knowledge of the area and their excellent friendly service puts them head and shoulders above Peter Alan, Peter Morgan etc. We had so many more viewings from HRT than anyone else.
We dealt with Becs in the Bridgend office who is absolutely great, stuck with us through what was a lengthy sale (not because of HRT I might add) and always gave great advice.
Use them, you will not be sorry.

Really disappointed by their approach to buyers. We were placed in a bidding war position, and eventually asked what our % deposit was. Why this should have ANY impact on who the best potential buyer is highly unfair. As it was, we found another house and moved in months before the successful buyer of this first property. I have also heard negative feedback from others on their form.
