We have used Hodsons several times over a 24 year period ,both to buy and to sell our homes.
A really friendly, efficient and pro active team who keep you informed with real integrity throughout the whole process. We would highly recommend the entire team at Abingdon and Didcot.
If they didnt know a particular question we had , they would find out promptly and ALWAYS returned our calls .A thoroughly pleasant, approachable and staff. Thank you all so much.

Absolutely fantastic. So professional. At first I thought they valued the house a bit too high, it was higher than the other valuation, but within a week I had 2 offers at asking price. They provided fantastic advice about the offers and kept us up to date throughout.

They were terrible. No communication for weeks on end. No suggestions as to any changes we could make to get viewings. We had a substantial and positive change to the outlook from the house and they didn’t bother to come to see it. They never proactively rang us, all communication from them was as a result of us contacting them. If you’ve got a house that’s a bit outside of the norm, don’t go near them.

Good at getting viewings and marketing and at initial contact, but wanted to accept the first offer and seemed to want to work more for our buyers than us. All they seemed concerned about was pushing a quick sale through. Once the sale had been agreed ,NOT good at keeping in contact once the sale had been agreed.Would NOT recommend and the overall service did not match the promises and sales they promote.

They identified a suitable buyer before the property went on the market and an offer was made on the first viewing. They know the market well and have always been polite and professional when communicating with them. Sale has not gone through yet but so far so good.
