I recently sold my house with Connells Abingdon. The sale was handled by Charlie Rose-White and I found the service from Connells to be good. Charlie managed the marketing in a timely and professional manner and dealt with many viewings. I was particularly impressed with the interactive video that Connells did of the house and felt this helped the sale.
After quickly getting a buyer, the sale did take some time due to legal issues on my side, so no fault of the agent. Once this was resolved, completion was quick and efficient.

I cannot recommend Connells Estate Agents, and in particular Charlie Rose White, highly enough. They were truly exceptional in handling the sale of my father’s property. Sadly, my father passed away during the sales process, which meant the property had to go through probate. Despite this, Charlie had already secured buyers for the property, and thanks to the strong relationship she had built with both the buyers and myself, they chose to stay with us throughout the lengthy probate period.
Charlie was an absolute godsend. Her deep knowledge of the entire process and her unwavering support were invaluable in helping me navigate the complexities of probate and dealing with solicitors. I am incredibly grateful for her expertise and compassion during such a challenging time.

Absolutely fantastic, Charlie-Rose, Chloe & Amy had there work cut out.
Originally I put my house on the market with a different agency but after a not many viewing in 6 weeks I swapped to Connells. The first weekend I was on with them I had an open house and the viewings just kept coming.
Sold rather quickly but then had issues with my buyer. No fault of mine or Connells. Charlie-Rose helped all the way. She went out of her way and did more than expected. She advised me and didn't leave me in the dark.
Ultimately I had to put my house back on the market which was incredibly frustrating BUT I felt like I had support all the way.
I would not hesitate to use them again.

I had been contacting estate agents on Zoopla etc and Connells called me back within a few moments of submitting the viewing request. They took the time to consider other properties similar to the ones I had viewed, and listened to my feedback on properties I didn't think were for me. They were sympathetic to the anxieties and needs of a first time buyer. They helped me find a mortgage with their mortgage broker, and navigate some of the complications brought about by LISAs etc. Charlie-Rose was an excellent support throughout, from being the person who picked up the phone seconds after I submitted my query, to being the person who handed me the key to my new home.
Unlike other estate agents I had contacted, I felt Connells viewed me as a human being, and not just as a contact in their sales database.

Certainly an experience you wouldnt forget!.
We are a "Connells club" memeber. paid over 500 pounds for the remortgaging service. and it worked well for the first time or two. Then the old team left and the new team took over. and Just like that, they refused to do what we ask them to "we had all the documentation they asked for to their own admission". What happened was that we asked to get some equity back when remortgaging so we can pay a couple of personal loads we had to streamline our mortgage. at a meeting at the office, we were assured that everything is sorted and on track. We explained that we have some money but given the state of the economy and due to my father in law being unwell, we would like to keep that money just in case. Then my father in law passed away and we had to travel. Soon as they realized that is the case, "Kris Smith" said he believes we can pay the loans with our savings and that he wont proceed with what we agreed and we can ask another company to do it (knowing that we are not in the country and that is not possible), Perhaps if we were a few shades whiter, things would have been to his satisfaction! I told Connells that this gentlemans satisfaction of my request wasnt any of the conditions of the contract I have with connels (which we paid over 500 pounds for) but noone was interested. at the end I had no choice but to move forward with what he was happy to do as my wife wasnt in the right mindset to deal with it anymore. But you save yourself and get the barbershop next door to help you with your query as they cannot be worst than these guys.

In all of our communications with Connells Estate Agents we found their services to be professional, courteous and of high quality. All facts were checked and double checked by teh branch manager personally and both prior to and during our viewing, their representative (Lewis) was very professional, open, informative, and beyond helpful.
Our viewing appointment was booked swiftly and we were kept informed and a personal phone call prior, for introductions and to double check appointment details, was much appreciated. Thanks to the whole team.

Connells have been unbelievable from start to finish!
From our initial meeting and valuing of my home that I wanted to sell in December 2020 they came up with the strongest value to other agents. They fully believed the house was worth that value and processed the sale procedure which went live on the 24th December 2020
By the 27th December they had the first viewing, and the sale was concluded by the 29th December 2020. A perfect and very smooth operation from start to finish. I would strongly recommend Connells as they are professional in every department. You certainly wont go wrong using Abingdon Connells.

Connells have been brilliant throughout my sale and onward purchase, and would highly recommend them.
The service from initial meeting to discuss listing my property, was responsive, fast, and of good quality. I had considered other estate agents in the local area but their initial meeting and documents were superior to the competition.
Within hours of listing, viewings were booked, and continued to be booked.
Throughout the legal process, the whole team has been incredibly helpful, hardworking and responsive to all and any queries.

Having gone through a process elsewhere which fell apart and constantly required me to chase the agent for several months this agency was a welcome change. The agent knew the ins and outs of the agreement and acted quickly when there was new information without having to be emailed constantly for updates.
Very good overall, I would use again. Can't remember what they were like for viewings as I found most properties myself and ended up seeing a lot of different agencies.

Currently puchasing a house through Connells and it has been a dreadful experience. The agent did not confirm the viewing and I had to chase this up. He also arrived late with no apology and appeared throroughly disinterested as if put out during the viewing. We offered on the property almost immediately and the agent was scathing towards the offer, which was ultimately accepted (clearly he was thinking of his commission). Connells then demanded copies of every imaginable personal and financial document to continue with the sale, which is clearly beyond their remit as they are the estate agent, not our lender. Most importantly, we were told by Connells that our vendor is moving to a new build which is already built. Turns out they were lying and the plot has an unknown finish date, endangering out chain. Very unprofessional, poor communication and actively rude.
