Due to structural problems the sale of my mother's house was protracted and hit a lot of difficulties with several prospective buyers withdrawing. Despite this the Team at Allen and Harris showed perseverance, remaining positive and proactive, and continuing to create interest in the house. Right from the outset, Dave Wrigley from Allen and Harris was a cut above any other agent we've used or considered in the past.
He has extensive experience and was a breath of fresh air.
He listened to our needs and discussed honestly about the sale price without over inflating the price to get us to sign up nor promising an immediate sale by under valuing it.
Other agents we tried, offered both.
Within a couple of days and before the house details were even approved, Dave had three viewings lined up.
He was strategic in how he spoke with the propspective buyers and was expert in the way he communicated with each of the viewers at every accompanied viewing.
Each viewer was complimentary and showed keen interest, which Dave expertly converted into offers.
He came to visit us personally to discuss the offers and assisted us in reaching a decision.
During the sales process there was a hold up at the bottom of the chain which was only rectified when Dave returned from his holiday and communicated directly with interested parties to ensure a quick exchange.
Dave is far and above any agent we have had dealings with in the past and showed himself and Allen and Harris to be the best in the area. The others are third division and Dave and his team are Champion's League.
We cannot recommend Allen and Harris enough and we would not hesitate to use them again.

Mostly helpful, and communicative, although we suffered a "blackout" from 20/12/19 (when completion was initially planned) until 09/01/20...however, I believe this was largely due to failings at the in-house solicitors, DC Law.
