25th Oct 2024 (7 weeks ago)I thought there were no good agents in Oxford until Saville recommended me to Richard at Scott Fraser. Mixed reviews on the internet, so I was a little sceptical about them in the beginning but they proved me wrong. Richard head the sales team there with William and Caia. The whole team has been amazing throughout the whole process, from valuation through to final sale. The valuation was realistic and fair. Photography and marketing was delivered with professionalism. The viewings were conducted with professionalism and care. There was never any query / questions too trivial and the whole team was on top of our sale, so you can call up and speak to any member of the team to get an answer. Follow-up is excellent and they will always call back, if they don’t have an answer. They also go above and beyond to sort out any issues, and find solutions that works for both the buyer and seller. We sold our property first week it was listed. We are very happy with Scott Fraser Summertown and highly recommend them if you are planning to sell your property in north Oxford,

24th Oct 2024 (7 weeks ago)We used Carter Jonas in Oxford, England to rent out our property and I was overall very satisfied with the service they provided. I didn´t have to do any chasing as things progressed nicely in a timely manner and they were very good at getting back to me with updates. Their rates were also much better than the other common letting agencies. The only small thing that can be improved is the delay between tenants paying the rent to Carter Jonas and the day it is received by the landlord, if that can be reduced it would further increase the satisfaction. But overall I would recommend Carter Jonas.

21st Aug 2024 (16 weeks ago)I cannot recommend Connells Estate Agents, and in particular Charlie Rose White, highly enough. They were truly exceptional in handling the sale of my father’s property. Sadly, my father passed away during the sales process, which meant the property had to go through probate. Despite this, Charlie had already secured buyers for the property, and thanks to the strong relationship she had built with both the buyers and myself, they chose to stay with us throughout the lengthy probate period. Charlie was an absolute godsend. Her deep knowledge of the entire process and her unwavering support were invaluable in helping me navigate the complexities of probate and dealing with solicitors. I am incredibly grateful for her expertise and compassion during such a challenging time. I wholeheartedly recommend Charlie and her team at Connells. Without a doubt, I would turn to them again in the future.

After viewing the house we were travelling overseas and were able to undertake all of the paperwork and processes from there. Luke was incredibly supportive and always on hand to help (as was Nicolette). As first time buyers they made the whole experience positive and we highly recommend them! Thank you!

Here’s an improved version: Filipe showed us the house we are about to move into (twice!) and was incredibly knowledgeable and professional throughout the process. At the same time, he was a pleasure to interact with: friendly, approachable, and always willing to help. He guided us step by step, and we couldn’t be happier to have had him as our agent. Initially, we were struggling to find somewhere to live in Oxford and our experiences with other letting agencies was stressful to say the least. Rosie was the first lettings negotiator we dealt with that was empathetic to our struggles. Rather than pressuring us into making an immediate decision, we were given time to consider making an offer, and Rosie and was a pleasure to deal with every step of the way. We highly recommend renting with Savills (and Rosie in particular) if you're looking for somewhere to live in Oxford.

The professional photographer who was commissioned by Perry Bishop took about 45 minutes to get the right photos, repositioning or removing items of furniture to enhance the photos. The house sold within a week and for over asking price. Would recommend.
5th Oct 2024 (9 weeks ago)At the beginning of my tenancy, the agency seemed very professional and attentive, but unfortunately, my experience changed towards the end. It became clear that they were more focused on representing the landlord’s interests. If you are a landlord, I’m sure they will do a great job for you. However, as a tenant, I cannot say I had the best experience. My advice to future tenants is to document everything. After every phone call or interaction, follow up with an email summarizing the conversation. Trust me, you’ll need that paper trail.
