25th Oct 2024 (6 mo. ago)I thought there were no good agents in Oxford until Saville recommended me to Richard at Scott Fraser. Mixed reviews on the internet, so I was a little sceptical about them in the beginning but they proved me wrong. Richard head the sales team there with William and Caia. The whole team has been amazing throughout the whole process, from valuation through to final sale. The valuation was realistic and fair. Photography and marketing was delivered with professionalism. The viewings were conducted with professionalism and care. There was never any query / questions too trivial and the whole team was on top of our sale, so you can call up and speak to any member of the team to get an answer. Follow-up is excellent and they will always call back, if they don’t have an answer. They also go above and beyond to sort out any issues, and find solutions that works for both the buyer and seller. We sold our property first week it was listed. We are very happy with Scott Fraser Summertown and highly recommend them if you are planning to sell your property in north Oxford,

Charlie was warm and professional from the start, and kept the sale on the rails at times when it looked like it might fall off. In all the ways that our solicitors were not helping, Charlie helped to the bridge the gap and keep everyone informed. Would happily recommend Connells to family and friends.

2nd Apr 2025 (6 weeks ago)It was a pleasure dealing with the two Richards as Directors of Chamberlain Evans. One of the benefits of a small local estate agent is in fact dealing with the directors for all important matters. I was selling in Rose Hill (or Iffley Borders as estate agents call it). They had a good pricing strategy and got me an excellent price above expectations. They were also patient and straightforward and helpful to deal with throughout. I've experienced another major local agency locally who were clearly more focused on obtaining a quick sale and commission - at the cost of trying to bully me to accept a low offer. Avoid the big commercial agencies if you want a good personal service and care about your home and its sale.

After viewing the house we were travelling overseas and were able to undertake all of the paperwork and processes from there. Luke was incredibly supportive and always on hand to help (as was Nicolette). As first time buyers they made the whole experience positive and we highly recommend them! Thank you!

Start to complete in barely 10 weeks and we couldn't be happier. all the paperwork was completed in a timely and straight forward manner and the house is fab. Initially, we were struggling to find somewhere to live in Oxford and our experiences with other letting agencies was stressful to say the least. Rosie was the first lettings negotiator we dealt with that was empathetic to our struggles. Rather than pressuring us into making an immediate decision, we were given time to consider making an offer, and Rosie and was a pleasure to deal with every step of the way. At first I thought they were too good to be true, but they seem genuinely helpful, reliable, knowledgeable, and so far very proactive with their communication. 5th Oct 2024 (7 mo. ago)At the beginning of my tenancy, the agency seemed very professional and attentive, but unfortunately, my experience changed towards the end. It became clear that they were more focused on representing the landlord’s interests. If you are a landlord, I’m sure they will do a great job for you. However, as a tenant, I cannot say I had the best experience. My advice to future tenants is to document everything. After every phone call or interaction, follow up with an email summarizing the conversation. Trust me, you’ll need that paper trail.

4th Feb 2025 (14 weeks ago)College and county has looked after two rental houses for me for several years and they take all the hassle out of my life. They select great tenants and give regular feedback on how the letting is progressing, they also deal efficiently with the normal household problems like drains, appliance breakages and keep me informed with me having to interrupt my day to sort them out. They have also negotiated HMO licences with the council on my behalf. I have had requests from other letting agencies but am not going to change. Thank you C&C
