The experience of buying through them started well, but on completion they wanted nothing to do with us when unfinished repairs we had agreed should be done within a short time of closing to stick to our closing date (we had put our trust in them to get their seller to honour these repairs) were not completed and still have not been completed. They refused to allow us to communicate with the seller and refused to deal with us after they had been paid their commission, instead asking us to ‘go through the lawyers’. So now it is costing us money to pay for the lawyer to get re-involved. This is the second similar experience negative we have had with them. Good before completion. But then they want nothing to do with tying up loose ends which is unprofessional. Never again.

I am very happy to recommend Holmans Estate agents. During the entire process of selling our house, from the initial consultation to the final sale, the Holmans team was professional and supportive. They gave useful feedback and practical advice, and were happy to help out with things when needed (we sold our house from abroad so needed help with some maintenance jobs and taking meter readings etc). We would certainly use them again if we return to the UK.

Holmans managed to advise and sell the property within 2 weeks of the house going on the market and at nearly the asking price. All this in a difficult market with interest rates climbing and buyers in short supply great work.

Good experience so far, they have done what they said they would. The valuation was pretty much spot on. Cash offer within two weeks of advertising. Communication has been efficient and friendly. Not completed yet , so not had bill but if the service continues to be as good as it has been then it will be money well spent. Would recommend.
