Ian was an excellent estate agent. Clear and frequent communication. Good suggestions of how to sell and amendments to the property. He provided feedback from every viewing promptly without request. We found him to be very personable without being pushy. I would 100% recommend him without any hesitation and we would use him again. He made the process very easy. Noteworthy point - particularly good not to have to chase for information - never made us feel like we were over asking for anything - trustworthy - not patronising - very relatable while still being professional - excellent at liaison with solicitor.

We have sold and purchased many properties over the years, both for living in and for letting, and it is no exaggeration to say that House and Home (headed up by Ian) has been the best Estate Agent we have ever worked with. Not only is he very honest and open about the properties he deals with, he is also extremely professional, and very quick to respond to any issues that may arise. For example, there were a number of times when we felt we needed to chase the solicitors to move things along, and found that Ian had beaten us to it!! He also responds to any queries you might have mostly on the same day, and if not, certainly the day after, and he kept us abreast of what was going on, with all the other parties involved (no doubt communicating with them well too). It is clear too that his knowledge of the Chepstow housing market and the surrounding areas is very comprehensive and detailed - and is a knowledge-base which he is very prepared to spend time sharing, to help you make good decisions. In short, we have no hesitation at all recommending House and Home, and when we are ready to buy or sell other properties we have in this area, we would without question go back to Ian.
