Selling your home can feel like a complicated and stressful task. Our HR Estate Agents Partners aspire to make the journey of selling your property a hassle free experience. Our Agents will guide you through the four stages of selling your home to ensure the smooth sale of your property.
Getting Your Property Ready – book a free, no obligation valuation and how to achieve the best possible price for your property. If you decide to go ahead, we offer a no sale, no fee agreement when selling your property. This mean no fees are paid upfront and you’ll only pay once completed. We can then arrange a marketing appointment to see what level of marketing is right for you.
Going Live! – Social media offers great exposure to potential buyers, so our agents at HR will pre-launch your listing using our Facebook and Instagram platforms. When your property goes live, it will be advertised on all major web portals such as Right Move, Zoopla and Prime Location. Our Agents will manage the viewings for your property and will liaise with both seller and buyer when the property has received its offers.
Agreeing the Sale – All of our buyers will be pre-qualified for peace of mind. This means all relevant financial checks and budget plans will be completed before negotiations begin. Once the offer has been accepted, we will prepare the sales letters and send them to the appropriate solicitors.
Completion of Your Property – Your HR Partner will be on top of your sale and be in regular contact with you, the seller. Once a completion date has been agreed, your HR Partner will arrange for key collection and handover to the new owners. After the property has completed, all that’s left to do is leave your HR Partner a review via Trust Pilot to let us know how you found your selling journey!

If this platform allowed a 0-star rating, I would use it. One star is a massive overstatement for the service provided by Emma Sheridan- HR Estate Agent.<br><br>After being just one week away from exchanging contracts, the seller withdrew. Throughout the entire process, Emma Sheridan was incredibly unprofessional refusing to take phone calls and using WhatsApp messages. When I raised legitimate concerns from the survey, they were dismissive and rude rather than acting as a competent middleman.<br><br>The most unethical part? I discovered they had remarketed the property behind my back while it was still 'Sold Subject to Contract' (SSTC), all while I was actively paying for solicitors and surveys. When I confronted them, their only response was: 'The seller asked me to remarket—you need to speak to them.' An agent’s job is to broker the deal, not pass the buck to the seller after the buyer has already invested significant funds. Because of their lack of transparency and poor management, I am now thousands of pounds out of pocket for legal and survey fees.<br><br>Buyers: Be extremely careful. Their lack of integrity and 'shadow marketing' tactics are a massive risk to your finances."

James conducted all of the viewings, something the previous agent didn’t do, which put me at ease.<br>James sold my house pretty fast which was great. Unfortunately the buyer pulled out just before exchange, and so I didn’t lose the house I was buying, I instructed James again to sell my property. One open house later and he sold my house a second time.<br>I can’t recommend James enough to anyone wanting to sell their house. It’s not been plain sailing in regards to my sale, but none of that was to do with James. When we first viewed the house Zack was so informative and knew the house as if it was his own! Emma at HR was amazing from start to finish. We invited three different agents to quote and we chose Emma because she gave us the most confidence that we would get the best price for our home and the cost was the lowest too. Emma showed us other homes that had sold near and like ours, gave us tips and advice with regards to what we could do to make the property as presentable as possible and equally saved us time and money on doing stuff that wouldn’t make a difference.<br><br>We were then on the market within a matter of days, professional photos were done with a very detailed and personalised description that highlighted positives about the area and amenities.<br><br>Emma always kept us up to date, we had a WhatsApp group for our sale to organise viewing times etc and had calls to discuss offers and anything else that needed a conversation.<br><br>Our first buyers unfortunately fell through, we were worried we might lose the home we had put an offer on but Emma spoke upwards to the chain on our behalf and was able to ensure we didn’t lose that house. Emma was open about the whole situation and told us promptly, we had the house back on the market same day, we had new viewings and offers within a couple of weeks and because of the work Emma had done communicating with the chain, we didn’t lose the home we had our offer accepted on.<br><br>We can’t recommend Emma enough!

Review : HR Estate Agents : Catherine Thompson<br><br>TLDR : Cath is amazing and we would give her a rating of more than 5* if possible.<br><br>Review : Cath was our 4th estate agent we used to help sell our home.<br>She took the time to understand our frustrations and offered advice which eventually led to the sale of our property.<br>She was also the only person to 'show' our home. She did not rely on a 'team' of people to attend the viewings. She had full knowledge of our home and all the local amenities (and had even previously sold one of our neighbours homes)<br>A dedicate photographer was used who took the time to ensure everything was picture perfect. He even waited for the sun to come out to get the garden shots just right.<br>The ad went on all the 'usual' platforms - but the most important thing was SHE handled all the enquiry's personally.<br>When the offer was made and accepted, this is when Cath really stepped up and worked over and above. (I feel other estate agents may feel this is not their job)<br>Post sale, Cath ensured everyone in the chain was kept in the loop, took time to contact all the estate agents and solicitors (again - way over and above!).<br>She was instrumental in ensuring our exchange and completion was completed. I feel if she had not helped with this stage, we would still be waiting. (mainly for the solicitors!)<br>We now consider Cath part of the family!<br><br>As mentioned at the top of the review - 5* service but really should be 5*++++

This was no problem , James kept us updated immediately and the house went back on sale and was sold again within 2 weeks . The worst experience ever. Had a booking scheduled with one of the agents at 7:30PM. I was at the scheduled property at 7:20PM...was waiting to expect a call from thr agent to say they were running late...no call, no message. I ring the office and they don't have a scooby's as to who's meant to be doing the viewing with me and couldn't find the booking scheduled despite the agent arranging it with me 48 hours earlier. I called again and the most they could do was send them an urgent message to contact me. I left the property and expected to be called but received nothing. Called the following morning to reschedule and can't even get through to sales team because no one is available at 8am? The calls get routed to reception and doesn't even have an option to route the call to sales team directly. The worst experience from a so called prestigious estate agent. As a buyer it was completely awful.

Having viewed many (10) properties this last two weeks across several estate agents I can honestly say that James was the best.<br><br>In most cases the others allocated minimal amounts of time to view the property, with back to back appointments and a conveyor line of other clients literally lining up behind me.<br>Others couldn't even answer the basic of questions and defaulted to the 'go online/ check our brochure' answer. One viewing I had, managed by a well known chain, it was their first visit to the property and I knew more than than they did.<br><br>I had two property viewings with James, I never felt rushed, he was able to answer questions that weren't covered by the brochure and I definitely felt like he was working hard to get a sale for the owner but not in a Stereotypical salesman way that can put buyers off.<br><br>I didn't actually purchase a property through James in the end but wanted to pass on my positive viewing experience for any sellers looking for an estate agent who actually invests themselves into selling their properties.

We used HR estate agents to sell our house as we are separating, our estate agent was Catherine Thompson. We listed the house for sale in May and it completed in October, we ended up in quite a large chain (6 households) and we were in the middle, splitting the chain in two as we were buying two houses, my ex-husband’s ongoing purchase was also with Catherine and our buyers were selling with Catherine. Catherine was absolutely brilliant from the very start, I have dealt with lots of different estate agents over the years and Catherine is by far the best one I have ever had. Catherine is fully contactable at all different times of the day and night & weekends (not just 9am-5pm Mon-Fri like I have found others are), even when Catherine was on holiday she was keeping us up to date with how things were progressing. After we had our offer and the sale started to progress & solicitors were instructed Catherine then did a lot of chasing for us throughout the whole process. My initial purchase fell through and I had to very quickly find a different property and Catherine contacted the new estate agent and provided all of my information, scanned ID documents, downwards chain information etc that they had requested to speed to process up for me, and to save me having to find everything again to ensure the completion date for the entire chain was not compromised, which as a busy full-time working mum was very much appreciated. Catherine understood our situation was very stressful with the separation and having two young children, and she made the whole thing a lot easier for us with her communications to us and her management of the whole process right from the start. In the past I have spent a lot of time chasing estate agents and solicitors myself which can be difficult and stressful. We would highly recommend Catherine if you are thinking of selling your house, as she will ensure everything is as smooth as possible and with as little stress as possible. Having Catherine as our estate agent ensured we had somebody we fully trusted to look after everything in the process for us. Catherine goes far above and beyond the service you would expect from an estate agent, she is extremely helpful, professional and her friendly nature ensured that such a stressful period in our life was made so much easier for us in so many ways. On Monday, 12th June 2023, I called twice about a 3-bedroom end terrace house for sale on Watersmeet Road, priced at £190,000. I left all my personal details, but it's been more than 24 hours and I haven't received a call back yet. I'm a bit confused as to why it's taking so long for you to confirm a viewing slot. For total transparency, I have some skin in the game with this one. But even if Harry wasn't my son, I would 100% be selling my houses through him. The advertisement for the property was excellent and we were very impressed by the number of viewers we had coming to look at it. When it became necessary to readvertise more were quickly found.
Our eventual buyer had a Homebuyers Report done on the house which highlighted rising damp, among other things. HR agreed to provide another professional damp survey at no cost to ourselves to confirm or not the original findings and to establish the cost of us putting this right, with a view to renegotiating our selling price. This survey found no damp problem, but our buyer of course didn't know now which survey to accept, so a final decisive survey was necessary (which confirmed the first). All this was potentially delaying our move and maybe could have been handled differently. We had been told that we could be moving early October if all went well but now late December looks likely (not in the end as a result of the surveys).
We did quite naturally have quite regular contact with HR at the start of the process, but this gradually tailed off. We came to feel we were not being told everything in good time if at all, although at least some of the information might have been to do with events higher up the chain.

Harry went above and beyond at all costs to deal with solicitors, of whom can only be described as 'unruly'.
Harry quickly intervened to ensure my satisfaction wasn't compromised, but also because he knew I would appreciate constant contact and updates.
His job with Covid was made even more difficult and it didn't seem like he ever took a break from dealing with other clients, despite the crisis.

Mike Mooney has been brilliant and seen us through on the sale of our home! He was so dedicated to selling our house and very flexible with everything from open house dates and 11 viewings in one day as we had to socially distance everything and take our kids and dog out for the day. Mike was also awesome about our pets and viewings. About always answering his phone and/or texting - very responsive. Also a very calm character for anxious types like myself!
