James explained everything really clearly, was very happy to answer all of my questions and his communication after the day was really prompt and efficient. Once we'd decided to go with James, the whole process of getting the property listed was really smooth and the listing was really top-tier; they really worked hard to highlight the best parts of our little home! James, Mitchell and Josh have worked hard to ensure the sale was successful and have been informative and helpful the whole time. James kept us updated weekly with market details, views our property were getting online/on apps & got viewing feedback for us the next working day. He fought our corner every step of the way when we found a buyer too & was friendly and professional throughout the whole process.
Communication was mostly done through Email & at times WhatsApp. This kept things stress free, casual & so it didn't feel like a spam of calls were coming in. The emails also didn't feel like spam & always felt like they were important and informative for our property.
I can't reccomend James enough, a better estate agent than most others who just like to spam & waste your time. Everything with James felt productive & informative, no time wasted.

His service is personal and ALWAYS returned calls if he was unable to answer the phone. We were kept up to date with every step. We had a problem arise with our sale and James researched into this over the weekend and the problem was solved the next week.

I would 100% recommend James Gorey Estate Agents after he cleared up the mess my previous agents had made in selling my flat. He was very attentive and always professional. Always attended viewings and 9 times out of 10 get me an offer off the back of the viewing. Even when lost 3 buyers he excelled to produce another buyer in a quick turn around. Where to start? I have heard many stories of bad experiences with estate agents so was not expecting much. James has far exceeded those expectations and more. He was constantly there to help and guide with a calm demeanour and a smile on his face. We’ve just secured our forever family house and couldn’t be happier! I genuinely believe, the only reason we manage to get it was due to James at James Gorey! The moment we met James whilst valuing our property, we knew we would list with him - his property knowledge and local area insight and experience proved we were in safe hands.
After that initial visit, the property was on sale with professional pictures and floor plan within 48 hours! We then found our dream house online and then the pressure was on to find a buyer for us a buyer in rapid time, to ensure we didn’t miss out! This is exactly what James did for us, in such incredible short timescales - bang on our asking price!
Having moved multiple times with many different agents, what sets James Gorey apart is the service without doubt! James genuinely cares about every house and family he is serving and made me feel at complete ease and the service was so personal it made us feel like we were his own clients (judging by the amount of James Gorey - Sold boards outside houses in our area - we knew this certainly wasn’t the case)! Every phone called answered, messages sent and emails replied to - unlike other agents, where you are just a number to them and a commission in their pocket.
Now add a world pandemic into the mix which inevitably caused some delays. James communicated with our buyers and us throughout - again keeping everyone in the loop and reduce the stress as everything throughout the process is fully transparent with James Gorey! As with most sales, we were in a chain and James once again went above and beyond to provide weekly updates and actively contacted and chased other agents up the chain. The irony is I found out more about my onward purchase from James than I did from the agent of that property!
All in all, I cannot recommend James Gorey high enough! I already have and will ALWAYS recommend him to anyone looking to move, sell or buy! Thank you for everything James!!

He knows the market very well and excels at getting people through the door. He is honest, friendly and polite and isn't at all pushy but gets the job done in a calm and very professional manner. We got regular feedback regarding potential purchasers' views on the property and once a sale was agreed James kept his foot on the peddle liaising with everyone in the chain. He spoke to the solicitors and knew where we were in the process at all times. James was extremely responsive to emails and phone calls, acting on queries and requests without delay. We bought a property from him so this review is about the service we received on the buying side. He was incredibly professional throughout the negotiation process. He gave us advice whilst not blurring the lines between the buyer and the seller and was very quick and efficient at replying to all of our queries. On our moving day he helped chase the solicitors for us so that we could get our keys and when we were ready, he met us at our new home and gave us a very warm welcome. If we ever had to move house again we would definitely use James Gorey on the selling side as our experience on the buying side couldn't have been better. Would highly recommend!

Don’t use anyone else if you want to sell or buy a property. Having used 2 other local agents over a period of nearly a year with little or no success we called on James Gorey. Within a week of marketing our property we had numerous viewings, one of which proceeded to offer within only 2 weeks and the house was sold. The marketing from quality of photographs, house description to website and social media exposure was outstanding. James regularly kept in touch, updating us on progress. A special mention should also go to Jayne, our sales progressor, who became the lynchpin between our solicitor, our purchasers solicitor and our new build developers. Unfortunately our Solicitor was a big disappointment, everything was by email and often unanswered plus 3 changes of Conveyancer during the process however Jayne breached the gap and kept us fully up to date, even contacting other Agents and Solicitors in the chain. I feel they provide a very experienced personal Service and would highly recommend this Estate Agency.

After being on the market for two years with two well known Sidcup agents, it was decided to give James Gorey a try, three weeks and four offers later We were sold.
Between James Gorey and Jayne, his post sales department, this is an estate agent that puts others firmly and deeply in the shade.

I have moved home several times over the past 20 years and have to say that James and Jayne have proved to be the most caring, professional and personal estate agents that I have ever dealt with. Having, previously been on sale with an alternative estate agent, with no interested viewers and only time wasters, I found James's approach refreshing and his support throughout was amazing. I first met James when i was in need to sell my house where others had failed, James is not only a great Estate agent but a wonderful caring person with the Personal touch where nothing is too much trouble.
When i finally sold, he was with me & my daughter throughout the process with support & advise, James went above & beyond. I first met James when he knocked at my door 2 years ago asking uf interested in selling my house.... i was unfortunatley not dressed and even though trouserless, this did not scare him off. Even though i was not looking at selling at that time, he looked round and kept in touch from time to time.
When i finally sold, he fully realized the best result for myself and ultimately my family. He sold my house and negociated on my behalf in many aspects that were not usual estate agent requirements, but that is what makes James Gorey special.
Not a normal estate agent.
He adds his personal, polite and professional aptitude to his work.
I will recommend him to all who sell in the Bexley area, he did what he promised and I owe my current happiness to him and his fabulous team.
