I have used Japan Services to rent my property, sell my property and investigate the management of the estate. There is nothing they don't know about the history, the workings and the inhabitants of the estate. I would highly recommend both their letting arm and the sales arm who go above and beyond to make transactions go smoothly. They have helped me initially as a live in occupier to deal with issues with the estate management as they arose, as well as as a remote landlord when I had to move away. They have all the local contacts and provide sound advice.

From listing the property across various platforms, to expertly handling the property viewings and providing us feedback from potential buyers afterwards. Good communication, personable character, down to earth and dedicated. Kenny helped make the task of selling the house a breeze. So the whole family were delighted with how things panned out. My family have worked with Japan Services for over 30 years as landlords for renting out property in the local area and I can wholeheartedly recommend their balanced and conscientious approach to keeping their clients satisfied on both sides. So much so, that I have recently decided to finally hand over full management to their capable hands. Pretty poor service, they offer higher rent for Japanese nationals (the site in Japanese has higher rent than the English site). Also not very helpful for tenants… very slow with providing information. They know Japanese people who can’t speak English fluently would go to them so their service is below average compared to other letting companies I’ve dealt with in other places across the world

This Lettings agency has told me they have successfully made 4 people into paying for fences to be fixed that appear to be their client's / managing director's responsibility. Their client's fence has been falling down into my property / looked like this since May 2022 and I can not get them to fix it. They are demanding I pay half of the costs for something that is their property's responsibility. Luckily the lovely resident group has given me support and confidence to hold my ground. I own the house to the left of the fence. Do not give them your business.

He provided an extremely competent service as well as offering a lot of very useful advice. I can highly recommend this company.

I rented a flat through Japan Services for 18 months just at the start of lockdown in March 2020. They gave me excellent service both on the letting and maintenance side.
The negotiation and implementation of the tenancy agreement including various changes during the tenancy were dealt with smoothly and professionally. The checkin/out processes were conducted in the same way and were fairly done. Being an older property a number of maintenance issues arose during the course of the tenancy which were all dealt with promptly and professionally.
All the staff are friendly and helpful. I would recommend Japan Services without hesitation.

We rented a house through Japan Services while our own property was being renovated. We moved in just before lockdown and spent just over a year in the property.
All of the people we dealt with were friendly, helpful and quick to resolve any issues, even during lockdown. The checkin and out processes were dealt with professionally and fairly.

They allow staff and contractors to freely enter and inspect your home without prior notice. On more than one occasion I have found evidence of people being there. Very unsettling and unprofessional, and on the verge of being unlawful.
