This estate agent is a joke when it comes to marketing properties and getting tenants for landlords. I made the terrible mistake of being lured in by Japan Services’ low fees vs. the high street nationwide companies. First they took almost a week to implement small changes to the contract, the flat photos for the ad were taken ON A PHONE BY AN AGENT are were just as disastrous as you’d expect: badly lit, terrible angles, not cropped. So the ad was a disaster. For all these reasons they failed to get a SINGLE VIEWING in 3 weeks. Let alone an offer. And didn’t even get in touch to discuss a price drop. In general, their communication was abysmal. After giving Japan Services ample time I hired a high street agent who had dozen of viewings within the first 48 hours and three offers in less than a week. I 100% regret ever working with this estate agent and they proved correct every negative stereotype of incompetency in this industry. If I’d just gone with a more expensive high street agent I’d have made back the price difference due to my flat not sitting empty for weeks. Do not repeat my mistake. We recently bought a house through Go View - they were professional and friendly throughout the process from start to finish. During the search James got to know us and what we were looking for, which led us to the perfect property. He was honest and knowledgeable which made us feel much more comfortable. Our sales manager Helyn kept the sales process moving really well, and we ended up not having any delays or issues before completion as a result. Quite friendly people(especially the CEO of Taylor Smith Estates), and concerned about the well-settling in of the potential/tenent, offering an `AFTER-SALES SERVICE` as much as necessary. company gained entry to building to stuff mailboxes with flyers begging for property to rent. There was no external indication of what it was, just "For the attention of the legal owner", so it looks important enough to open, not just spam. Highly unethical behaviour and I would not trust this company, or Sarah Black, the manager signing these letters. edit: 1 year on just received another identical unsolicited letter. Still begging for the same type of property for the same couple with the same jobs from the same Sarah Black with the same manufactured urgency.
