Personal and Prompt Service. We rented for a year with Roxburgh Group. From beginning to end we were treated well and received answers to all of our questions and requests. We were working from home when they needed to show the property to future renters and they were very considerate and arranged a time that didn't cause any disruptions. I rented a property with the Roxburgh group between 2022-2023. The landlords were a married couple who also are based in the office. I woke up one morning to the landlord (Mr) standing in my hallway after having posted a handwritten note with his contact number and name on the back of an envelope asking me to call him. He knocked a few times however as I was a single female living alone at the time with no spy hole in the door and wasn’t expecting anyone I chose not to answer. He then assumed I wasn’t home and allowed himself entry to what was my home at the time, giving no legal written notice. I had changed my contact number a couple weeks prior and forgot to update the letting agent, which is my own issue. My email address & next of kin numbers were still valid - none of which were contacted. He used the excuse that he was “worried” about me for illegally entering the property. Very intrusive, I was moved out of that flat within weeks of the incident! Would never feel safe using the Roxburgh group again.... Read more

Roxburgh Group were recommended by a local solicitor to help with the sale of my flat in Troon and the whole experience from start to finish was 10/10. Jacqui went above and beyond throughout the process, capturing beautiful photos of the property, managing a huge volume of interest/viewings and always having quick solutions to any issues. Communication through phonecall and email was fantastic and I never felt the need to chase anything up as I was always kept in the loop. After the first day of viewings we were ready to go to a closing date the following week - I couldn't believe it! What could have been a stressful time was made an absoulte breeze. When I ask for a viewing for properties that are advertised online, I constantly get told that "no block viewings are available at the moment" but at the same time I get asked to provide all my details with an application form is ridiculous. Because that doesn't mean I will be in the pool of people who are actually invited to see a place. I want to see a place before making up my mind to share all my details and info. I want to ask questions about the property before applying 100%. There is too many places with horrible neighbours who make your flat stink because they smoke in the house, or they are extremely noisy. So, yes, I want to see, hear and smell the place. And when you constantly put up the same flats after a short time, it makes me wonder why you cannot keep a tenant in a place for more than 10 month. Is it because there is problems with neighbours, or because the rent was raised already from 450 to 475? It does not look like it is a place that actually welcomes people, especially when the estate agency won't let people see the place. And in the past years I always have seen a flat before providing all my details. It is frustrating because the market is already difficult, but not even offering a decent service to make people feel comfortable about a place is a big no.... Read more

First of all, my apologies to the ladies at Roxburgh as this review is very late. My experience with Roxburgh was great! I had a fantastic experience dealing with Jacqueline and Linda. I always felt like I was in good hands. It was a long haul, due to Covid, legal matters and not being able to get into the country. I was trying to settle my late mother’s estate while not being able to get into the country, as Covid had just hit and made travelling next to impossible. My first issue was that I needed someone to check in on the property weekly, in order to keep insurance on the house. This was only supposed to be a 3 – 6 month deal. With Covid and the courts it ended up being well over 2 years. They were both thorough, professional, communicative as well as easy to reach. They were an absolute pleasure to work with. I was kept well informed on what to expect as a first-time home seller. Their advice from how to prepare the house for selling, helping me understand the home report, to the marketing, to viewings & offers. I was given frequent updates on all interest and any appointments. Would I recommend them? Without hesitation!... Read more
