We recently sold our property through Johnson & Jones. It was a really tough market when we decided to sell, and we are really happy that we chose J&J, as our sale was not without its hiccups - e.g losing buyers due to refused mortgages, having to change solicitors, seemingly endless delays from the parties in the chain, and so on.
Most of our house viewings were carried out by Ryan and Charlie, who both are really professional and gave us the full confidence that the potential buyers would be given full and accurate information about the property.
After the sale was agreed, the rest of the hard work was done by Tracy, who is clearly extremely experienced in what she does – without her expertise and hard work our sale would have most likely fallen through. She ended up being not just the estate agent, but also the person we ended up pouring our frustrations out to! She made sure that our exchange happened before Christmas, while she was actually away on holiday.
When choosing your estate agent, it can be tempting to go with the one that promises the highest price for the property. We went with J&J because we liked how Craig explained how he came up with the suggested pricing – and in the end we achieved the price they promised us, even in the very tough market. Extremely grateful for all the hard work by everyone in J&J!

Everything from the initial valuation with Craig, through to the marketing of the property & the after-sales process was beyond fantastic. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them.
We had a very tricky onward purchase, and I have to mention Tracy especially for going the extra mile throughout to liaise with solicitors & make a stressful process a lot easier to deal with. She kept me sane in amongst the dramas of moving house! Her advice, guidance & involvement in the process took so much pressure off of us.

From the first viewing, Johnson & Jones were very accommodating, fitting in more viewings at different times short notice to allow different members of our family to see the house. Well to put it in a nutshell, they saved my sanity!!
From the start, Craig and Charlie were helpful, professional and friendly. They got pictures up on the website quickly and secured an offer almost immediately.
Then Tracy became involved, guiding us through the process, liaising with solicitors and our buyers! She kept us up to date without us having to ask for information, she spent lots and lots of time talking to me on the phone, answering my many questions, reassuring me, placating me and basically listening to me with patience and compassion!
She was very tenacious, determined and professional in the face of considerable adversity!!!

The best TEAM ! I will explain what I mean later but I must start by saying; I had lived in my current home for 22 years and one of the main reasons for this, I didn’t like dealing with estate agents!
A friend of mine recommended Johnson and Jones, she had recently used them to sell her flat. Life circumstances meant I needed to sell my house extremely quickly so I instructed J&J. I told the team the reasons for my sale and that I have a busy day job and didn’t want interruptions and questions throughout the day. To be honest I was still a bit apprehensive because Johnson and Jones don’t really operate in Egham and i wasn’t sure if I should just go with one of the egham based ones.
They SMASHED it within 6 weeks I had a fair offer and sold. This team do actually do what they say on their website, not only did they most importantly sell my house at pace they did it with real professionalism, courtesy, and respect. I never felt like it was just me that was concerned about selling the property the team were supportive and showed real care, patience and we’re always prompt with responses. They are Excellent communicators who always kept me up to date and informed.
My comment about the best TEAM comes from my experience on two points the first, you can call and speak with anyone of the team and they are on it they all know what’s going. The second is the way they translation you through each level of the sale with the best suited person from there team, I started off with Craig doing the valuation, Charlie composing the brochure and then leading on the viewings with Kate in support. When offers came in Tracy comes and seals the deal within days. Tracy’s tenacity and determination in moving solicitors, buyers, sellers and any other potential barriers along is truly worth experiencing if nothing else ! I will never forget how safe I felt when Tracy was following up for me.
In summary if you use Johnson and Jones when buying or selling you will not be disappointed . I would like to see more businesses that offer a bespoke and tailored service that suits my needs rather than having to just go along with a set process. The little things do matter and the team at J&J get it!

There really was no other choice when it came to choosing an Estate Agent to sell my flat. Having purchased the property through Johnson and Jones seven years ago I wanted someone who would guide me through every step of the process. Craig and Tracy are second to none. Craig and his team were excellent at keeping me up to date with viewings that were planned and were very accommodating with busy schedules. When faced with having to sell my late mother's bungalow, I decided to put it in the hands of a company who would know the local area, and give me a more personal service. This was one of the best decisions ever made. Tracy and her work colleagues work together as a very strong team. I was kept up to date every step of the way, which was extremely important as I live 300 miles away. Tracy was brilliant at keeping on top of solicitors, and was even able to help out by checking the property and organising an urgent repair. From start to finish, the service was beyond excellent, and I am convinced that the sale would have been more prolonged in anyone else's hands. I have been a property investor for more than 20 years now and sold many properties but I have never had an agent like Johnson and Jones before – they really do provide a practically excellent support service right from start to finish – my experience is that you might get a couple of calls from the agent during conveyancing initially making sure you accept the offer and a few calls chasing if they feel it is taking too long, but otherwise its all down to you, but with Johnson and jones they are always there chasing with you if necessary but often a few steps ahead checking on things you might not even have thought about to ensure a successful result
Like many others they said they would do a good job for me but THEY actually did!

My previous experience with Estate agents had coloured my view to thinking that they all promise everything at the outset but fail to deliver. Not so. Johnson & Jones were confident of the valuation placed on our property and achieved it within days, as they said they would. They then kept on top of the buyer to move to speedy exchange of contracts and kept us informed almost every day. They even recommended a conveyancer who was excellent and liaised with them for us too. Lucas approach at the initial viewing was perfect. He was laid back and allowed us time to walk round and appreciate the property, whilst also having all the answers to any questions we had. There's no doubt that a big part of us booking a second viewing the next day and subsequently putting in an offer was down to Lucas hard work on day one.

Viewed a property at £1300 pcm having explained my situation (between jobs due to covid) but when I submitted details for receiving they didn’t even process it.
The director owned the property I was looking to rent and clearly discriminated against myself and partner as technically we were “unemployed”, despite my father being guarantor earning over £150k per year.
What a disgrace to make assumptions about who people are what they’re like. The house was unclean, with missing tiles in kitchen and a smashed garden fence. Who allows a property to be viewed in this state?
Discrimination will not be tolerated and they are being reported to the property ombudsmen.
Avoid this agent at all costs!

Johnson & Jones are a very professional and friendly run company based in Chertsey
I rented a property through them for 2.5 yrs and felt looked after and valued for the whole time i was with them. I dealt mainly with Ryan who was always polite and prompt when i contacted the office especially over the Covid situation. Tracy runs a great office there with good staff and great knowledge of the property industry.
I would thoroughly recommend anyone using their services for either property rental or purchase.

Despite the tricky times we've all been living in for the last few months. I particularly appreciated Johnson & Jones' positive attitude (unlike one of the agents we saw at the start!) and knowledge and, given the covid situation and all the uncertainty that went with it, we were entirely happy with the price achieved. And it was refreshing to meet an agent who didn't exhibit the all-too-common 'smarminess' that many do! I'd certainly recommend Johnson & Jones.

Don't sell your house during a global deadly pandemic BUT if you do use Johnson & Jones to sell it for you!
We bought and sold 13 years ago with Tracy and Johnson & Jones and chose to use them again this year. On both occasions Tracy has sold our house in record time.
The whole process was as stress free as it could be and I really cannot recommend Johnson & Jones enough; from the photos of our house which made it look amazing (thanks Ryan), to the stress free viewings, solicitor and removals company recommendation (thanks Craig) and that's after achieving the right price for our property and keeping the whole process moving forward during lockdown (thanks Tracy)!

Johnson & Jones have been an absolute pleasure to work with, and I have to give personal thanks to Ryan Sleat for making the process completely stress free. Me & my partner actually were using a different estate agents (Chancellors), before the landlord pulled the tenancy contract out from us 3 days before we were due to arrive. Johnson & Jones were quick to assist our struggles along with other estate agents, but I can honestly say it is night and day between their services and any of the other agents we have been in contact with. Everything from the initial property viewing, to getting referred with their chosen lettings agent has out shone everyone else. I can not recommend Ryan and this estate agents enough

Having originally purchased our house through Johnson & Jones, when it was time to sell the team at Johnson & Jones were the natural choice. As a buyer we had found them to be extremely communicative and straightforward to work with. Four years later when we were looking to move, we instructed J&J to market our property, the same level of professionalism from the team existed, we had some challenges (outside of ours and the agents control) and J&J were available to offer advice and assistance along the 'rocky road' until completion. So after dealing with so many Other Bigger Estate Agent Groups I was starting to realise that they never actually listen properly to what you are asking for
And they will never call you back when they promise unless it suits them.
Leaving your life on pause at an all ready very stressful time.
This was NOT the case with Johnson & Jones Chertsey
They ALWAYS reply swiftly long after receiving your money and what’s nice is they actually Listen to their customers properly and act accordingly keeping you notified of each step along the way which is a real breath of fresh air

WARNING...I rented from different estate agencies in the past few years (Belvoir , Romans, etc)..J&J is the ONLY agency I come across where if you dispute their deposit deduction charges at the end of the tenancy (obviously you normally do because it is unfair in my case), you will be charged £120 even if you win (basically means even if the charges are unfair). There is a deposit section in their "unique" tenancy contract specify if you dispute the proposed deposit charges and would like to refer the matter to arbitration (which is a free service) you will be charged £120 admin fees.

I recently bought my very first property and naturally, given it's a big step, it was difficult to choose a property and to navigate the potential pitfalls and hurdles. I was lucky enough to work with Craig, who from the get-go was approachable and helpful - at the first property viewing he was clear and impartial without any hard sell. I never felt hurried or pressured, and Craig was happy to answer as many questions as I (and my parents) had at any time. I felt that I was in safe hands and could trust Craig's input and support. When I was looking to sell my house I considered using an online estate agent - as it seemed like it could really save me money. I asked my friend (a property solicitor) for her advice. She said that when you pay for a high street estate agent it can be worth every penny it costs you - and save you lots of money in the long run. However sometimes it can be a waste of every penny you pay them, if they don’t work hard for you. I am writing this review specifically for those out there making this decision - or anyone looking for an estate agent they can trust…
The team at Johnson and Jones were worth every single penny in fees and more. I couldn’t have hoped for a better outcome. Not only did they secure an excellent price on my property (higher than any other estate agent had estimated), they got everything right. Their communication with me was great - letting me know everything I needed to know and updating me frequently. They are excellent negotiators - they increased the price of properties on my road after securing a great offer on mine. This wouldn't have happened with an online agent. They are knowledgable and were able to reassure me and help me through. It was really clear throughout that they wanted to help me and to top it off, they are friendly and kind. Without going into too much detail, this wasn’t my experience of other estate agents I dealt with in this process. You wouldn’t believe the mistakes that were made by the other agents and the relief it was to be able to trust the team at Johnson and Jones. They made the daunting process of selling my house pleasant! That is something I couldn’t have predicted and a real answer to prayer.

Have had the guys at J&J managing a property of mine for a couple of years now and they really have taken such a work load off my hands.
