Will not allow two women to house share despite allowing us to view our perfect property and knowing our situation. When we booked the viewing, the agent went to confirm if house share was allowed and we were informed it was absolutely fine. Their policy only allows family or couples.
We also told them we had pets and was told no extra cost would be added. This is not the case and they charge £50 per animal, including the fish!
These were only told to us after a viewing and when we tried to put our application forward.
Very disappointed at the lack of correct information provided to us. A waste of time, plus money loss due to weekday viewing.

We had a great experience with Julian Marks purchasing our home as first time buyers. Jon Hearn in particular deserves a special mention, who dealt with the majority of the communication throughout the transaction and provided us with excellent advice and a professional service as we navigated our way through. We would definitely use Julian Marks in the future when we come to sell our property & would recommend to other first time buyers!

What an utterly disappointing experience.
From the beginning: Property details online where missing words, written poorly and did not contain all measurements. We literally had to re-write them.
During the sales process, very little guidance and support was offered. Feedback was not useful in any way to help us. None of the agents learnt a single thing about our property. We were simply a number to them.
After we finally did get an offer accepted, Jon, the apparent sales chaser contacted us once in the 4 months from sale to completion and took over 24 hours to respond to any communication from us. This was probably the worst part of the experience.
I would recommend everyone stay away from these guys and use an agent with a better understanding of the sales process and with a better team to support you through that process. It is a stressful time in general moving house and without the help of a good agent you will be left to your own devises.

This is the second time that we’ve purchased a property through Julian Marks and this time we also sold our house with them as well. 10 years ago we found that the experienced team were professional, efficient and knowledgeable throughout the whole process and this time it was no different. We don’t plan to move again anytime soon but when we do, we will not hesitate in using Julian Marks again!

A professional, receptive and highly motivated office team, which implicitly understands its patch and the state of the market. Wesley's use of graphic analysis and data to pitch at the right place was persuasive. And my initial warm feeling in the office was boosted as each member of the team came individually to the house to understand the features and potential of the property. Hideous experience resulting with one of the owners calling me to accuse me of saying something, which I did not.
Both calls were on the speaker phone and witnessed.

Jeremy valued for us and is very experienced, personable and friendly.
He knows his houses.
Henry and Elliot came to photograph, take videos and use the drone. They listened to what we wanted and delivered brilliantly.
All the staff were on the ball with communication and kept us up to date at all times. Negotiating any issues so well.

The staff have been extremely professional throughout the process of selling our late fathers house. The sale has been fraught with hinderances and the staff have kept us informed throughout. They have emailed both parties solicitors constantly asking for updates and pursuing resolutions and dates for exchange.
