We marketed our property with Knight Frank for several months unsuccessfully, granted it wasn't the most buoyant housing market, however, they promised the world and just could not deliver. The marketing reports they sent out intermittently were amateur and full of errors, the feedback on viewings often took days.
We finally tired of them and switched to another local agent, they visited our property and could not understand why it had not already sold, they were of the opinion there was nothing bullish about our asking price and it was marketed at exactly the same price with them. The new agent had drone photographs taken and added a virtual tour, our property sold to the first people through the door through them for 96% asking price.
I'm of the opinion the virtual tour saved us wasting significant time and energy cleaning and preparing our house for viewings only to have the potential purchaser to arrive and state they were looking for a farm house.
The new estate agents approach was refreshingly different, I would recommend them and use them again, however, I could in all honesty not recommend Knight Frank and would not use again.... Read more
