My experience with Kronos Estate Agency has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I had high hopes when initially dealing with them, but the way they handled our situation left me deeply dissatisfied.We were in the process of securing a rental property through Kronos, and things seemed promising. However, when an unexpected issue arose regarding an outstanding CCJ, things took a turn for the worse. What frustrated me the most was the lack of transparency and professionalism in dealing with this matter.Firstly, we were blindsided by the discovery of the CCJ, which we were not previously aware of. While we tried to negotiate and take immediate steps to resolve the issue, Kronos refused to negotiate and gave us mixed and unclear reasons for withholding our holding deposit. Their initial explanation was fees for the paperwork done,far from convincing, and it later changed, leading to further confusion.Communication with Kronos has been a major issue. Our calls and attempts to reach out were consistently dodged, and promised call-backs never materialized. This unresponsiveness added unnecessary stress to an already challenging situation. What's more, Kronos' handling of our holding deposit not only raises suspicion but appears to blatantly violate the Tenant Fee Act. They attempted to retain a portion of the deposit for unspecified fees, a move that is blatantly against the law. To make matters worse, the deposit collected exceeded the legal limit, which is another blatant violation. We had to relocate to temporary and cramped accommodation, incurring unforeseen expenses for storage, all while facing eviction from our previous residence. This entire ordeal has been financially draining and emotionally taxing. Given their lack of response and potential legal violations, I have no choice but to pursue legal action to rectify this gross injustice. Update: Surprise surpise, after posting this review and contacting the agency through email, they decided finally to call me. During the call, they said that they would return £200 and taking £300 from the (irregular) holding deposit as fees for "time wasted and paperwork fees". Reminder as per the tenancy fee act 2019, not even a single penny can be taken from the holding deposit for any type of fee, so they've continued to act irregularly in regards to tenancy fee act 2019. Obviously, I have not taken into consideration their offer, and since I now have gathered enough evidence, I will continue to a small claim court to get my money back in full.... Read more

Dealt with an agent called Ash at Kronos Estate Agents - was messed around a lot by him, dishonest and extremely unprofessional. It is disappointing that I received such poor service, luckily there are many more polite and more professional estate agents on Rayners Lane!
