We rented via them and they found us a nice full furnished flat in the heart of rusholme with great connectivity with a very reasonable price.
Process was quick and fuss free.
At the end of tenancy, we got our deposit back as well.

She's rude and super unprofessional.
All the properties I viewed are in unbelievably bad conditions and are nothing like the photos on the ads. False advertisement at it's best.

If you are looking to rent, don't even think about this agency. They do check tenants, but they don't check landlords. Day before I was about to sign tenanacy agreement they simply called me and told me that the landlord changed his mind. I had to move out from my former place, so they left me practically homeless without even bothering to offer me something else.

Got a Flat with them for a few Years, always been precise in everything, every single issue is been fixed in not more then 2 days, did not had major issue, but always found them really helpful in all my query, response time to my mails usually just a couples of hours.
I can't be served better by this agency, special thanks to all the guys in the office as Abbas, Maria and all the other which are been always great to support me in all my query.
Sad is been the day I left the flat, but we had too for personal reason.
We made a good cleaning and they checked, without chase for professional one which our job were done really well, so got the full deposit back without any problem.
The deposit is keep by external company, so no way to be more professional.
Thanks Lancashire Properties, I can't wait to get back to use your service again.

Can't find fault with Lancashire Properties, I have been a tenant of theirs for two and a half years and any issues I had where resolved within 24 hours without any issues. Communication was quick and easy and the end of my tenancy "checking out process" was also very quick and done without delay meaning I would have my deposit back within 7 working days of checking out of the property. Would definitely look to rent again once I move back into the Manchester area.

Both Maikin Investments and Lancashire Properties are owned by the same group of people.
These estate agents are terrible in their coordination of viewings with current tenants and are rude and aggressive when current tenants are unavailable for viewings outside of business hours in their commercial properties. As an estate agent they should have the keys from the landlord and property owner and it shouldn’t be up to the tenant to unlock the premises when they are not on-site outside of business hours.
Would not recommend having your property shown by them or renting from them as it will cause you grief in the long run. Trust us....

They are the worst Managing Agebts I have ever come across.
Bathroom has been leaking into the kitchen for almost 6 months. It takes a lot of courage to cook and sit on the kitchen table to eat. We have been reliant upon takeaways for the last 5 months.
Numerous calls and they haven't bothered to fixed the leak. We have been promised almost a dozen times that someone is coming but no one turned up. Three times I and my wife took time off from work to wait for the workmen but noone turned up.
Poor customer services, renegade promises, poor communication, and poor quality service.
Quite recently the landlord turned at our property enquiringly about the late payment of rent. We found out later they hadn't been passing rent on to the landlord and he was told that we were late and behind with the payment.
We also found out that there was a remarkable difference in the rent given by us and the rent passed onto the landlord. The landlord scant happy person. He had been defrauded.
Beware, they are agents from hell!

Utterly useless. I could list dozens of examples of how they mismanaged our building, but perhaps the most egregious one is when they changed the front door of the building. This would have been fine, but for a few things:
-The new front door is completely the wrong kind of door for the purpose: The doorway doesn't go all the way to the ground, meaning that we now have to awkwardly lift our bins over a big ledge every time we bring them outside.
-The new door had a new lock, and they made no plans to notify us of this change or to send us the new key. Instead I got a call from my girlfriend, who had run into the workmen while heading out to her work, telling me that by the time I got home, the door would have a new lock and I wouldn't be able to get into the flat. It took several angry phone calls to come to an arrangement which would allow me to get home that day.
-While fixing the door, they also tried to fix the intercom system, which hasn't worked in over a year. Their workmen's way of testing to see if their changes had worked (they hadn't) this was to start randomly and repeatedly buzzing flats to see if anybody came down to investigate. The intercom was never fixed.
-Perhaps most egregiously, they never gave a key to the new door to Royal Mail, despite lying to us on multiple occasions to tell us that they had. This means that a number of important letters I have been waiting for are now lost somewhere in the postal system.
That's just one example of their incompetence. If you are a landlord looking for someone to manage your property, know that these people will drive your tenants away. If you are a prospective tenant thinking about signing on a lease on a property managed by these people, know that they will make your life miserable for the entire time you live there. I urge you to look elsewhere.
