This is the worst estate agent in Levenshulme. Avoid at all costs. The houses that don't sell they advertise again as 'fresh on the market'. These agents invites 20 to 30 people to one house and there you out bid each other, terrible. They want you to use their solicitors. I saw two bedroom houses advertised as 3 bed but not building regulations. AVOID EDWARD MELLOR. They lie by saying a lot of people are interested in the house you like..this is a tactic to get you to put a higher price on the property

Awful!!! Middle of a pandemic and they organise a 15 person group viewing!!! Asked if I we could view separately as my wife is pregnant and we want to avoid putting ourselves in danger of catching the virus. They point blanc said "NO". They're a total joke of a company. Have had nothing but bad experiences with them and this is the icing on the cake. Guess they've never heard of duty of care!

AWFUL!! Really the worst estate agents I've ever dealt with. Was told by them that they do not except mortgage in principle from my broker... This is a lie. I'm literally using the same guy a friend recommended me, which she used to buy her house through Edward Mellor... I was told because they don't accept my MIP I would not be able to even view the flat! Or course it then transpires that If I come into the office and sit down with their broker then I will be able to set up a viewing for the flat. Not worth the hassle.. if this is how they behave now then how bad will it be further down the line!! Just a word of warning to you all.

Luckily I sold my house through Houseimple and they were simply outstanding. The reason I had to deal with this waste of a space company was due to my buyers buyer taking so long to get things going. So I decided to contact this company directly to see for myself why there was a 5 month delay on my sale. They were useless, hardly answered the phone then never returned your ‘promised’ call backs plus shoddy information once I did get through. At one point I asked if I could speak to Mary and the man said she is busy, but she was shouting across the room trying to answer my questions through him. Don't waste your time or your money not worth it. I am so glad I went with the online company plus my sale was free due to an offer they had on otherwise it’s normally £900 which is a hell of a lot cheaper than the £2500 my buyer had to pay these guys.

Very obvious and bad sales tactics. They go heavy trying to pressure you into going with their mortgage brokers with the promise that they'll be able to give you viewings before everyone else and that they'll be able to take the property off the market sooner. Impartiality doesn't even seem to matter to them. Very unprofessional.

Edward Mellor and Mary, in particular, are the best!!! Right from the start the team had a clear strategy for selling our house and they were completely right. Within 2 weeks we had a range of offers to choose from. Mary not only arranged for the clearance of our house prior to completion but she also facilitated correspondence and communication with the buyer and other trades people, which enabled a smooth and swift sale process, despite our conveyancing team being slow and annoying our buyer and despite us living miles away. Pretty awful. Never ever return calls which made us very worried as we wondered what would happen if a potential buyer called and they didn't call them back to confirm the viewing?? Ian was extremely helpful and did all he could. We were sold the dream package and were told our house would be sold in a matter of weeks but after being on the market for 12 weeks and only having 2 viewings, it was time to call it a day! Poor service

Placed am offer on a flat. Then I was told only 75%of the flat is being sold, but they didn't know. However the price was remained same lol what a joke... No wonder the flat is still for sale 4 months later
