I have used laurels twice selling our flat and our house. They have never failed to deliver. We previously listed with another agent for our house and after nearly 3 months we only received 5 viewings. I switched to laurels (since they sold our flat during the same time at over the asking price) and within 48 Hours we received an offer over the asking price from serious sellers which eventually closed to purchase. I have to commend Josh for the fantastic results, if it wasn’t for him I don’t believe we would have got the success story we received. Their sales progressions needs some slight improvement but definitely improved once they recruited a new team.<br><br>Josh is an incredible sales talent, honest and sincere and puts his clients first. Last year, we sold our family home and enlisted the services of Matthew Gabre-Kristos at Laurels. The property was marketed exceptionally well, and we had several viewings before accepting an offer. Matthew did an outstanding job managing the sale, especially considering the numerous complications and setbacks that arose throughout the process. He was patient, communicative, and always ready to assist. What truly set Matthew apart, however, was his empathy, kindness and understanding. Laurels were honestly above and beyond all my expectations. Moving is never easy and through all the ups and downs they made my life easier. In particular Josh Takouni was great - really quick and clear communication and always proactive, I never had to chase anything. It was really lucky to meet an amazing agent Josh. He worked hard for me from the day one. The young good looking man dressed super smartly and stylishly. I worried to see the dusty loft and muddy garden. Then he got covered with dust and mudied bit but he looked so happy and certainly enjoying to show me around the house. I suprised. We can't recommend Olivia and Laurels too highly. In reply to the 5 Star review left by Marius.<br><br>I’m the very difficult seller he refers to.<br><br>Clearly Laurels are EVERYTHING a Vendor needs to AVOID in an Estate.<br>They completely lost site of who their client was and ignored repeated instructions to cancel the sale to the point I believe it was forced through against my wishes.<br><br>Stick to a local agent that had a Branch rather than this lot who IMO just stuck it on an agents portal and were incapable of even writing up a meaningful bio on the property

We came across Laurels and were immediately impressed by their marketing material and initial conversations. We had our property listed with Truuli estate agents for 3 months before they managed to get an offer worth considering. It then fell through and we decided to use another agent (as the communication, business approach and general effort was poor with Truuli). On meeting Khiera Cornwall from Laurels, we were immediately impressed by her approach and how she listened to all that we had to say and did her best to meet our expectations. And she nailed it! Her communication was spot on, letting us know what was happening at every stage of our sale and she was honest. She was committed and she clearly cared about selling our house — we weren't just another number. Not only did she sell our house in 22 days (in December!) but she also secured a higher sale than what Truuli had managed. The whole process was a much smoother and enjoyable (as enjoyable as a house sale can be) one with her. I would definitely recommend Khiera and the team at Laurels.

First time selling a house in 25 years I was very apprehensive, as I was buying new build the company got 3 estate agents in to value and compete against each other , what I must say from the very first meeting Laurals ( Fraser ) was one step ahead or the game.<br>He had the house on the market before the others had even sent a photographer round , by the time they had, laurels had sold the property ( 8 days ) for the price we wanted.<br>Again through the whole process Fraser kept us informed and nothing was to much trouble for him, I think Laurels are lucky to have him . We arranged a viewing on a property through Laurels, and drove 3 hours from Cambridge to view it. The agent failed to turn up. We knocked on the door of the property to make sure the agent wasn’t inside; it was clear that someone was inside, but did not want to be disturbed. As we were leaving, 30 mins after the viewing was scheduled for, we received a call from the agent. They told us that the house had already been sold a week previously - before we had even booked the viewing over the phone! So, we travelled 6 hours in a day only to needlessly bother the owner of an already sold property. I would suggest that any potential sellers be wary of Laurels when choosing an agency to list their property with.

We switched to Laurels after our chain broke down when we lost the buyer for our flat. The house we wanted to purchase was being sold by them, so we had gotten to know them already through that process. We were hesitant to switch agents because we did like the ones we were working with. But it quickly became clear it was the right choice, as with Laurels we had a completely different experience from any other estate agents we have ever dealt with. They were highly professional, friendly, and capable through every part of the process, from their recommendations of how to market our flat to the way they did the photography, and the way they handled a number of tricky issues that came up during progression all the way to completion. Providing me with your support during such a difficult time. Thank you for your utmost patience in responding to emails, calls and voicemails. Liam at Laurels has been a pleasure to work with. Proactive from the start, fully available in the important early stages, I can wholeheartedly recommend the company with Liam at the helm. He found us excellent buyers and went the extra mile to hand deliver our signed papers when timing was tight. He was always clear-sighted and actively engaged in the process. I also found the fact that it was Liam himself who showed potential buyers round, rather than another member of the team which is often the case with larger estate agents, a complete bonus. It made the whole procedure personal and built up a lot of trust.<br>The only downside is that we took his advice on which solicitor to go with (Taylor Rose) and that was the part of the process which we found extremely impersonal which didn’t work for us at all. Find your own solicitor and Laurels is a great choice!

Absolutely fantastic experience with Laurels they are honestly the best agent I have worked with. Olivia in particular from the start was helpful informative and bang on with her market intel. It has been tricky as my first buyer pulled out at the last minute but Olivia supported me all the way and never lost interest in the property.<br>Towards the end of the process Rob too was fantastic in getting this across the line and so want to say a massive thank you to you both and everyone else I had dealings with at Laurels.<br>I would Highly recommend ??

The viewing was easy to schedule, everything went smoothly, and communication felt extremely honest and genuine, unlike most other estate agencies I've dealt with in my 9 years in London. Though my offer was rejected, I would still say it was a 5* experience

Misleading sales tactics that completely misrepresented the service we would receive. Would take days for the estate agent to get back to us once a viewing did take place. It is clear their motives prioritise a quick sale no matter what the price offered and not their clients needs. Given the significantly higher rate of commission the company demands the customer service is entirely unsatisfactory. Would not recommend at all.

Our recent rental experience with this Laurels office was horrendous. Numerous unanswered e-mails, failed to provide resolution for ongoing issues and pretty much just facilitated the completely unacceptable opereations of a delusional landlord. Very dissapointed and will be avoiding them in the future.

I think Laurels is a very special estate agent. It is comprised of young and friendly teams who know what they are doing. This was my second time selling through them and although the first sale fell through due to our personal circumstances, Liam was very understanding. I recently sold 2 properties through Laurels and my experience was nothing but fantastic throughout. Both went under offer within 10 days of going to market, the first at very close to asking price, the second at asking price. If renting with them, they actually represent landlords at times, and will only let you know after signing the contract that you're now dealing with the Landlord directly, mine happened to be a very doggy one and I had the most awful experience and lots of monies and my assets taken off from me...<br>These is NOT and honest company, don't work with them for your sake.
