These people attempted to steal 750 pounds from me. They only returned the money after I started the process to take them through the formal MyDeposits claim process, where they realised obviously they couldn't win and were illegally not returning the bond. All conditions/requirements were clearly met and documented on my end and 7+ attempts at contacting them had been ignored from myself and my other flatmate. They will tell you they will ring you back and then never contact you again. They will not pick up your calls if they recognise your phone number. Do not rent from these people. It is not worth the hassle. I hope they are held accountable for ripping vulnerable people off.... Read more

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. As you may have seen with other reviews, they will attempt to keep your deposit without providing any reasons. I was skeptical that this was happening at first but from reading these other reviews it is pretty clear that they are not incompetent, they are tying to scam you. There is a clear pattern of behaviour with them not responding to any attempts to contact them. I emailed them 5+ times with no response and every time I called up I was told I would receive a call back regarding the issue. Of course, this never happened and was clearly just a way to waste time. I eventually had to lodge a dispute and, after providing undeniable evidence, they returned the deposit, still without any emails or calls back. Our Agent Sean, who was relatively good at replying during the tenancy, ignored calls completely (until I rang with a different number) and also wasted time saying he would 'look into it' and then never calling back. Not worth your time or stress, I hate to think about the people they managed to take the deposit off because they didn't lodge a complaint in time due to the deliberate time wasting from Locate Properties. Please don't give these people money. AVOID THIS COMPANY.... Read more

After being evicted due to the landlord wanting to renovate the property, I had to chase down my deposit due to it being weeks after the 10 working day window stated in the contract and eviction notice. The agent who was dealing with us (Shan Mir) dropped off the face of the earth and never replied to texts sent or even answered his phone. Called the agency to be told time and time again that someone will contact me back with updates to no avail. Had to file a dispute just to get my deposit back only to finally get it back 10 days after the window. My housemate got his deposit a month after leaving the property. He had to chase them down too. We're lucky to even get ours back as I see reviews of people never getting theirs back.... Read more

I have worked as a contractor (my company is called SMR Locksmiths Ltd) for Locate Properties. It has been over a month since the completion of the job and I still haven’t received the payment. The accounts department doesn’t reply to my emails, person who has booked the job doesn’t answer my phone calls nor reply to my messages. Office lady says she will pass my message, but no results neither. I have been chasing the payment at least 5 times now. Still waiting for the payment to be made. Very unprofessional!... Read more

Unfortunately, I didn't receive any call back though I called 5 times in 3 days at all. The lady who picked up the call seems to be nice lady who probably passes the message but never ever got a call back. And property was out of market after that.... Read more

Shocking service. Tried for 3 days to book a viewing, only to be told the lettings team were busy every time and that they’d get back to me. They never got back to me, but I eventually managed to arrange a viewing once I phoned back. Finished work early to view only to be told the property had been let an hour before the viewing. Locate landlords are the worst and nightmares, they have no an idea in what they are doing. once you register to stay in there properties, thats the end of you.They dont help out or care about their tenants. all they care about is the money.i moved in with my 3 children and a wife and You even reach an extent of regretting why you joined them.i Their properties are not the best but they charge them higly. i conclude by saying its the worst service.... The Landlords are the worst landlords in the history of landlording. Power cuts out on a Friday afternoon and when you call them more than 3 times, your number gets blocked, so you can't call them again and your entire weekend you spend it in pure people pitch black darkness. The bathroom and kitchen are tiny, not even enough for one person. They never care about the tenant once you've paid them, then they'll shxt on you so hard that you'll want to just rip through walls. If you're considering to use them, word of advice is don't bother, you'll get the best worst services that there's in the housing market. Stayed with them a month and that's the last time I'll ever want to go to Locate Useless properties.... Read more

If I could give a negative star I would. I rented a room off the owner of Locate Properties Shan Mir and never got our deposit back from Shan. From talking to the other housemates, he did this to all the housemates. He disappears when you want to talk to him and he gives out a generic email and phone number. From talking to the actual owner of the house, Shan never paid him rent either. Good luck to anyone who decides to use this company, but you have been warned.... Read more
