Was looking to rent. Contacted them regarding multiple properties. Made 2 viewings for 2 properties, for one the viewing was cancelled after I had already left to view. The second was never cancelled - I rang them to find out where they were and all I had was “oh sorry that should have been cancelled.” I tried for over a month to view one more property, was told I was on the list to be contacted they were waiting on keys and would ring me. 2 months later still waiting to be called. I was happy to pay 6 months up front and be moved in asap. Wouldn’t be encouraged to use this to advertise houses for rent or sale when they treat potential tenants like this.

Absolutely shocking customer service, no communication skills from any of the staff. An uncaring attitude towards tenants, my boiler was broken for over 3weeks in dec/jan time and all they kept saying was "the plumber needs to think about what he's doing", 3 weeks!!! Without a boiler!!! Before I moved in to my rented property I was told a moving in inspection had been done and it was fit to move in to, when I turned up the house was disgusting and mess and dirt everywhere, when I highlighted this they got a 'cleaner' in, twice, who didn't actually clean anything.
Absolutely useless staff and the manager pretends to be helpful but is just as useless, please think twice before dealing with these people!

If your going to use this company for rentals, think again, very little property management whilst taking a fee.Your property will be allowed to fall into absolute chaos.Happy to leave tenants with no electric.

Worst customer service. No proper replies and their website isn't properly vetted. They probably have the least supportive agents as well. I have been asked to come to a viewing at 2:15 and now when I call them to ask regarding another property at 1:30 they say my viewing is cancelled. They didn't even have the courtesy to send me an email informing me of the same. It's my request that people go to a different letting agency instead of being fooled by these jokers

We bought our first house through Louvain Properties in December 2022. From the start, everyone we interacted with was friendly and professional and couldn't do enough for you. Viewings were easy to arrange and all the agents we met were knowledgeable on the houses they were showing us around, as well as the local areas. Once in the sale process, they were easy to get hold of via both phone and email and kept us fully up to date with the sale process. My daughter had already sold her house and is not in a chain. She phoned and asked to arrange a viewing. She was asked for proof of mortgage in principle . She explained that she didn't have it yet but the mortgage adviser was happy to email with all the relevant details and would also be happy to discuss any queries on the phone. Louvain said this wasn't good enough and denied my daughter the viewing!

Called to arrange a viewing on a house I wanted to buy to be told I couldn’t arrange without a mortgage in principle and proof of fund’s. My mortgage broker provided an email with all the relevant information as my DIP wasn’t back in time and also offered to discuss my situation and prove that I was in a proceedable position. This company seem VERY good at providing barriers to legit non time wasting customers and showed lack of empathy on individual circumstances. How an email from a company was still not good enough is beyond me. Maybe Jean from Bidmead n cook Ebbw vale could show them how to keep everyone satisfied and the general meaning of customer services as they seem to have it spot on! Avoid using these to sell your home!!

Having spoke to a few of the staff over the phone there they are miles behind Darlows / Bidmead etc. Didn't seem interested at all and were very demanding of proof of funds and mortgage in principle. I'm not after a new best mate but I'd appreciate some friendliness and interest when forking. Sarah seemed a lot better than a couple of the other staff I'd spoken to, but in the end found a property with Darlows. Wouldn't recommend Louvain in all fairness.

I asked to book a viewing for a 1 bed flat with a tenant, to find out that the information was incorrect and should have been updated to state the vendor had changed his mind and wanted to sell with the commercial property downstairs as a package over twice the price. A week later the info on rightmove hadn't changed. Not too happy that information was not changed.

If I could give a ZERO I would. Told me I had a viewing at 10 o'clock today. This was arranged 7 days ago. Both myself my partner and my 1 year old son was outside waiting IN THE COLD. Do you think anyone turned up? Then when I rang them there was no apology just...... 'Aww you should have been contacted' Only to find out the landlord isnt sure what to do with the property and have now postponed viewings. THANKS FOR DRAGGING ME OUT OF BED EARLY ON MY DAY OFF and wasting my time. Do not go with these . If you wanna be let down then crack on

Having experienced other estate agents in my area when buying and selling property, I now will only use Louvain Properties. The service I received has been so nice and they completely understood my needs. The staff have lots of knowledge about the area and they do their best to find property for you and tenants that are good. Their systems are fast and nothing pushy about them. They have very competitive prices and communicated well with me throughout each sale and purchase. I would definitely recommend and would like to thank them for finding me my perfect home and selling my properties so fast!! Cheer Louvain : )

I was charged 60 pounds out of my bond for a professional oven clean, ridiclous amount of money to clean a oven.
I left the property very clean a lot cleaner than when i moved in.
I had to repaint the kitchen, clean all previous tenants stuff of out the garden and replace the shower head.
Would not reccomend using this estate agency.

What a lovely Honest, Professional Team, I have had a few experiences with estate agents and they have not been good!!! so to finely meet good, honest people is a relief! Louvain Properties I will never go any where else. As soon as you meet them you feel at ease, they are upfront with everything and its so nice to be able to put your trust in them and they are very reasonable with rates compared to others I have used and been ripped off.

We let our house through Louvain, what a mistake. The tenants took out an insurance policy instead of a bond, which we were unaware of. The rent was constantly late, extremely poor service and I still don't know why we paid Louvain, because we certainly did not receive a professional service. He threatened us with slander if we wrote a negative review which is only stating the truth... It is called free speech. If Louvain thinks this is slander I will be only to happy to provide bank statements etc. Be warned landlords.

Absolute scam.
Took a rental for a property knowing if you fail credit check you can have a guarantor.
After failing credit check they said I would not be allowed to have a guarantor.
I paid £149 for this service. They failed to fulfill their agreement and have now stolen £149. Claiming it is non refundable.
Do you know a reference fee these company’s pay is only around £9.50.
Now they will find other tenants for the same property and charge them £149.
Pretty good scam isn’t it!
