Jack and his team helped me navigate a very complicated property purchase recently, and despite the fact that the sale was sadly unable to proceed for reasons outside of everyone's control, I would nonetheless recommend Findlay Property in a heartbeat. At every step of the way they were responsive, communicative and sympathetic, as well as very clearly skilled at what they do, and made a difficult situation that much easier as a result.

I have been renting a 1-bedroom flat from Findlay for the past two years, and I can confidently say they are the best property agents I have come across in London. Their team is not only highly professional and efficient but also genuinely friendly and attentive, making the entire renting experience a pleasure.
From the very start, Jack Abel provided outstanding service when showing me the flat. He made the rental process incredibly smooth, handling the signing (and renewal) of my tenancy with diligence and speed. It was a really great experience. In addition, any issues that arise in the flat or building are addressed almost immediately, thanks to the responsiveness of the Findlay team. A special mention goes to Cristian Noces, who is always friendly, hardworking and quick to resolve any concerns.
In fact, one of the things that truly sets Findlay Property apart is their proactive approach to maintenance. During their annual inspections, they don't just check the property – they actively look for ways to improve it. For instance, they installed a new towel rack without me even having to ask. That level of care and attention to detail is rare in the rental market.
Overall, renting with Findlay Property has been a fantastic experience. Their efficiency, hard work and commitment to their tenants make them stand out. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a stress-free and professional renting experience in London.

When I moved out of our flat, Cristian and Helen, whom I had good relations with until then, turned out to be despicable and dishonest. These two people are not on the side of the tenants and are mostly after the money. When giving back your flat, make sure you know the law when it comes to the deposit, because they will not give you notice of what they will take from it, and won't ask for your permission. More than half of the deposit went into buying paint and re-painting a room, when I had been asked to keep paint in the flat all year, therefore loosing considerable storage space that I was paying for but not allowed to use. They never sent the receipt of the paint, blaming the painter, and I never got the money back.

Findlay recently helped us with the sale of our flat and I would highly recommend them, particularly Jack Abel. We originally contacted Jack years before we sold the flat, but unfortunately we were unable to sell due to cladding issues. Jack stayed in touch for about 2 years with regular advice and market information, until the work needed was successfully completed.
Obviously when we were able to, we went back to Jack to sell our flat and he delivered on every front. The sale turned out to be overly complex and Jack helped immensely in keeping all parties updated and even helped to obtain the countless documents we needed from the freeholder. I doubt we would have got the sale over the line without his help.
Jack is very professional, personable and honest. In my experience these are (very) rare qualities to find in his industry. If you are considering any of the many agents in the area (which we did), go and have a chat with Jack, you won't regret it!

I would give Findlay 0 star rating if there is such option! After going through all the ins and outs of arranging sales of my flat and signing sales agreement with them which took almost a week, Jack Abel decided it’s not worth his time to sell right before he puts the property on market. I was properly shocked by how unprofessional he was and how badly he treated his client. It’s a total waste of my time.
There are a few reasons why Jack did that. 1. I already have photos and videos prepared for the sale so there is no extra money to be made on this. Jack pushed quite hard on this 2. Jack evaluated the property himself but a few days later he decided to reduce price by 50k so it’s easier for him to sell. Bear in mind this is all before the property went onto the market.
Obviously I didn’t allow him to do so
I won’t recommend anyone using Findlay especially Jack Abel. Very disappointed

I few months ago, I was in Broadway market shopping in a DIY shop when I discovered Findlay Estate Agent. I was in the middle of doing some work in our property, so I wasn’t particularly well dressed when I decided to step in the agency. I was very well received by Jack the letting agent Manager and other staff. Initially, what impressed me the most was the synergy and friendliness between the Findlay team in this office. You could tell that they work together and there is a lovely atmosphere. It was this first encounter that made me decide to engage Findlay agency to let our property. And from the first visit from Jack in our property I was very impressed by his faultless communication skills, his excellent knowledge of the rental market and his impeccable manners: indeed, he even took his shoes off when he visited our property. Jack was instrumental in securing good tenants for our property. After each viewing, he gave us a detailed written report on how the viewing went and always answered my numerous questions with a lot of courtesy. In no time, Jack and his team were able to secure excellent tenants for us. I would recommend Findlay as an estate agent. They are straightforward and made renting our property effortless. I've lived in one of Findlay's properties for almost 2.5 years and I can honestly say it was the best renting experience I've ever had. We always received instant replies, issues were often fixed within 2 days - even issues that weren't necessarily the agent's problem (like painting the walls a nicer colour or putting in a new floor) were taken care of. The team always made us feel like they cared and their service felt very warm and personal. Would highly recommend!

We were shown two properties by Jack Abel during our flat-hunt and he was nothing but professional, friendly and knowledgeable! He was honest about the properties and showed them in their best light and didn't try and pressure us into making a decision or pull the wool over our eyes, the way some other agencies have tried to do (which is just offputting!). We felt in extremely safe hands with Jack and he was always prompt to reply to mesages and answer questions. We put an offer forward on one of the properties which unfortunately wasn't accepted due to a no-pets clause in the lease. We really enjoyed our experience with Findlay and theirs will definitely be the first website we look at whenever we need to find another tenancy in East London! We find them to be a really trustworthy agency with excellent properties on their books. Professionalism and transparency abound!

Warning to all landlords that wish to use Findlay's service!
Please please don't be Conned by their false promises!
6months since I've decided to use Findlay's service to fully manage my flat!!! This should have been a smooth experience and I should have been overseas by now, and sadly still here, and trying to deal with the mass the have created!
I am upset and disappointed with Findlay in many ways..
In honestly, my aim was to support my local small business by choosing them over a bigger company and hoping that, they will keep their promises and provide me with a good service and find me a suitable tenant for my beloved flat.
I have filtered 12 estate agents before deciding with Findlay! Looking back to February 2020, and today 2st of July 2020 still awaiting tenant!!!!!!!
Now, I can clearly see, that i have become the victim of their false promises!!! And I hope by writing this review, I can send a warning message to any other landlords wishing to use Findlay.
In all, they have not find me any suitable tenant, yet they send an invoice for an advance payment for photos, floor plan and EPS....
We have agreed prior to appointing them, there will be no advance payments until they find me suitable tenant... And they will deduct any fees and costs on the first month of signed contract!!!!
No tenant as yet, but on the 26th of June 2020, I received an invoice for advance payment for the costs of photos, floor plan and EPS... Not to mention, the incorrect amount!!!
I am upset, disappointed and stressed with the lack of professionalism from Findlay. I had to cancel all my overseas plans as results of thier poor performance; encounter numerous costs and expenses without even having any tenant!!!
In short, now I have cancelled my arrangement with Findlay and in process of reporting them to the property ombudsman, and urge any landlords to be aware of their false promises! Don't be fooled by their fake smile, offer of special reduced commission for managing your property.

Simon and his team pushed the prospective tenants in a bidding war. The selection process from the first call to arrange a viewing until the final decision was intentionally opaque. Our offer which was higher than the asking price with excellent references and 6 months upfront payment was rejected with no justification other than the landlord chose higher offer. Simon informed us that the landlord was a friend of him. Findlay is clearly amazing agency if you are a landlord. Simon asked me to not publish the feedback online but I felt I needed to as all my comments to him and his team were not addressed. [Note: the viewing was in September 2018 but I am only writing this review today as I had personal priorities]

Findlay managed a property for me for 5 years. In a business that is typically populated by sharks, the gentlemen at Findlay stood out. Above all I found them to be trustworthy. The was an absence of nasty surprises and hidden charges. Rather than feeling exploited - as I had done in experiences with other property management agents - I was being treated as a valuable long term customer by Findlay. Prices were fair and I genuinely felt that the property was in good hands while I was overseas and out of the UK. Their style is relaxed and friendly but they also manage to be efficient. We rented a 3-bedroom flat with Findlay Property for six months, and we would have been happy to stay longer if some of our flatmates didn't have to move away from London at the end of tenancy. Our experience was very positive. The office is full of reliable and efficient staff who are happy to help. We had to move in very quickly, and John saw to it that our processing was expedited, and even cycled to hand over our flat on a Saturday morning! The checkout was equally efficient, and we received our deposit back much more quickly than any of us have experience before. I wholeheartedly recommend Findlay Property to anyone looking to rent a home of high quality with little hassle.
