Jasmine Burley was able to answer questions and guide me through the process of selling a flat.
This was not straightforward due to the first buyer taking a lengthy period trying to find a mortgage. We had been understanding and patient with this buyer but it was Jasmine who suggested that we put it on the market again. This led to a buyer accepting the sale price and was far more efficient in getting things done.

We found the perfect flat for us through M&W, well Luke actually found it for us and Jasmine was assigned to us. She has been amazing. So has Luke. We had a very 'turbulent' time trying to buy this place which we collected the keys for today.
I have to say they really did take the stress and worry out of the whole buying experience.
Never met estate agents like the four people who work at M&W. So utterly professional.

Buying your first property in the midst of a pandemic is never going to be particularly smooth sailing, but we are extremely grateful that we had M&W, and particularly our specific agent, Ed Montague, supporting us through the process. We encountered the inevitable delays and mishaps that take place when you are in a chain, and amongst the myriad issues with sensitive lenders and unresponsive and wayward solicitors, Ed was for the most part, our only guiding light, always at the end of the phone and always with a can - do attitude. He went above and beyond the call of duty as an Estate Agent to the onward purchaser, and was often our only source of information or console in the stessful times,- always helpful, friendly and unflappable, even when we were becoming understandably stressed and needy! The rest of the team were also always on hand to offer what advice they could , and help to steer us towards what was, in the end, a successful completion! After waiting 23 years to move home M&W certainly eased the way for our move. A special mention for Edward who I feel sold the house as if it were his own. He did all the viewings as I didn’t wish to. The last viewing that was booked he asked to change the time so that it was he who could do the showing. As it happened it wasn’t needed because we had an offer the day before! Luke helped us to find another property from some pretty slim pickings and used his area knowledge to help us.
The last few weeks of the sale became very fraught with the onward move. Ed was in contact daily and keeping everyone informed of any potential news.
I would definitely use M&W again. We had some sort of contact with all the team and they were great. Thanks guys for making what became a stressful situation much less so.

I often don't remember to write a review but my experience working with Edward at M+W was so good that it definitely needs one! I'd highly highly recommend him and the company to anyone looking to buy in the Hastings area. I'm so happy with the flat they found me. It's quite tough as a buyer at the moment as there is a lot of demand and where a lot of other agents often seemed a bit standoffish, Edward really seemed to care and have everyone's best interest at heart. He went above and beyond my expectations and made the whole process very efficient by keeping me and all other members of the buyer/cellar team informed and chased up when needed. Over my lifetime I have been involved in at least forty purchases and sales of property, not because I was seeking to gain from this but thanks to a life requiring many moves. I have never had a better experience of this than that which has been supplied at M&W by Edward Montagu. The purchase process was quite arduous as a result of structural flaws discovered in the building where we hoped to buy an apartment, but Edward's unfailing promptness in keeping in touch despite time zone issues (the Atlantic Ocean separates us, for the time being!), his tireless pursuit of the information we needed, his availability at all times, and his personal charm and kindness, have smoothed out what could have been an incredibly stressful experience, and made it a happy one. If you have any chance at all of working with Edward, I would strongly urge you to put him at the top of the list of candidates. He is terrific.

What can I say, this is a fantastic company. They helped us with finding a property in an area that they do not service, recommended a fantastic financial adviser and gave us some inside info on the property we were buying that helped us to make a swift purchase well under the market value. We didn't even do business with them unfortunately but I can whole heatedly recommend these chaps for their outstanding help and advice.

I moved from Lewes to St Leonards and can not recommend this agency highly enough , professional and helpful throughout the whole process . Particularly as I had lost a previous property through another agent and was finding the whole thing very stressful .The staff were always on top of any queries and sorted any issues promptly .Should I ever decide to sell they will be my first port of call .
