I recently purchased my first home and had Steve and Michelle supporting me the whole way. Steve was extremely diligent and helpful guiding me through the process (having very little knowledge myself). A really important factor for me, was how quickly you can get in contact. I’ve had frustrations in the past not being able to get in touch and this was the opposite! I could always easily and quickly speak with Steve. I was recommended to use Malcolm Jack & Matheson to sell my first property. Overall a very good and professional service, except there was no consistency in who we were dealing with. I first had a gentleman called Peter contact me and tell me he would be my solicitor, then a woman called Lyndsey contacted me saying she would be taking over as the original solicitor was now representing the buyer. Then after 2 weeks Lyndsey announced she was going on annual leave around the time the sale was closing, which was fine. Lyndsey's replacement was a man called Steve, I communicated with him for around a week, then Steve dropped off the radar completely and a woman named Michelle contacted me to close the sale. Overall there was nothing wrong with the service provided, all those who contacted me were very informed about what was going on, but unfortunately I don't feel right giving a 5* review when I had no idea who I was dealing with from day to day.

Phoned to find out outcome on bid on property. As never heard result through my own solicitor. Person who answered was rude as said you never got it and hanged up quickly on me. There was no sympathy or politeness. Property sold way over valued price so happy never got it. But was just unhappy with service and customer care. If our bid was successful I'm sure the response would be very different. We are searching for a house and won't use them again.

Not so easy to find, I probably walked past it twice. There were building works in the area that got me looking in the wrong direction. A person of no fixed abode took the trouble to get me to where I needed to be, after observing me walking around the adjacent car park looking for somthing.
That said there is a public car park right next to the offices.
The woman on reception was very nice and took my paper work from me.
