Tried to sell our flat through Mann, found a buyer and had to chase this for months with no progress. This lead to the buyer pulling out.
After speaking to the building owner we were told the buyer informed them slow progress and no replies from Mann (and the broker they used through then) were the reason for this.
Often we went weeks and five or six chases need to get a response which was often "we will come back to you" and no progress from this.
Following the fall through, we purchased another property and contacted them again to discuss the feedback and whether this was a one off, and what we could do in the future with them as we're ready to put the property up again. As, to be fair, viewings were consistent when the property was up.
Amazingly, no reply here either.
Would avoid using for selling from my end, and it seems our expected buyers might think the same for a purchase as well.

It's been a long sale (10 months) and, particularly near the end, I felt I had to drive it and chase left, right and centre to get things over the line. However, this seems to be pretty standard in my experience, whether buying or selling, as unfortunately no-one seems to call each other - rather they send emails that then take a week or more to respond to... What I can say is that, whenever I called Mann to chase the buyer's solicitors on my (or my solicitor's) behalf, Fletcher and the team were friendly, professional and helpful throughout. I should also add Mann acted as my letting agent for a number of years prior to the sale, and Tim was absolutely brilliant on the lettings side and a pleasure to deal with.

Very unprofessional and rude staff.
Once agreement done they will keep passing responsibility between landlord and letting Agent. I will say if letting Agent is Mann then please run away. Once agreement done you will be trapped.
Key collection - They escalated for 15min delay and told they will not give key because we are late. I told them I have small kid but the response was really bad.
Moving in first day - Nobody came to house to assist. Where is gas meter,electric meter,water meter,parking.. nothing they explained. House was really dirty. When we tried to contact them. They told to contact landlord. When we tried to contact landlord she told to contact letting Agent. Just passing responsibility. We struggle ourself to find everything.
First week after Moving in- we were really frustrated with condition of house and letting/landlord behaviour. We told them that we want to move out for which response was we have to pay rent for 1 year. Come on you are giving dirty house, not fixing broken stuff and asking us 1 year rent. For every fixing they asked us to contact landlord for which landlord never responded or responded after one month.
9 month same property- We somehow managed to spend 9 month in property and told them that we will be moving out after 1 year contract end date. Now letting Agent became active and give us long list of things which we have to clean/fix before moving out.
11month same property- letting agent told few people will be coming to see property and we have to be available at that time. We agreed as per time provided by agent. First time they cancelled visit. Second time they came late by 1hour. Come on for your case you cannot stand 15min delay and for tenant multiple delay/cancellation is ok?.
Finally we moved out after 1 year of harassment. I wish I can give Negative STAR. Never Never go for Mann letting Agent

Avoid at all costs! Dealt with an agent at the Dartford branch who accepted my offer, congratulated me, encouraged me to move forward with submitting my mortgage application (which involves a brokers fee) and sourcing solicitors, only to tell me the next day that a slightly higher offer is now being considered. He played me, wasted my time and almost wasted my money with no remorse! He didn't even bother to call me to stop the process, but casually informed me of this new consideration when I called. Also, the property is still being advertised with no notice of the two offers - contrary to regulation. Worst experience ever.

So I must say, I am compelled to write this review.
I had the privilege of having Mann as our goto when looking for our first home as new couple. We have been cared for by Ethan and ohhh God. This man took all the stress that comes with looking for a house in this day and age and left us to enjoy the days as we waited. He was so patient and kind, diligent and committed to making sure that we have everything that we need and everything we need to know however small or irrelevant we think the documents might be. When I walked into the office for the final meeting, everyone was so welcoming even the managers as well. As a new person in Dartford I was blessed that my partner chose Mann to help us out on our new journey. We have such a lovely house to call our home. So a massive thank you to Ethan and the team. Tim and Fatma came to our rescue when we had put our flat on the market to rent. We had been through and spoke to most of the local competition, to which we were either not confident in or they were not competitive in price.
As first time landlords we were not fully clued up on the process with but with Fatma and Tim’s guidance they found a great tenant (so far :D) and also gave us confidence our property is in good hands.
Mann, Tim and Fatma were always to hand and kept us in the loop, even whilst Tim was OOTO he was still replying to our queries when he could which is going above and beyond.

I am currently in the process of selling my flat through Mann. Appalling service, I must say. Have been trying to call all day, leaving a message to get a call back, but nobody had responded. Agreed the cash sale of the property over 3 weeks ago, but it has not progressed any further and we are not being given any reason for the delay. If this goes on much longer, we may lose the property we are trying to purchase. Alex has been great up to this point, but the "admin team" are seemingly the cause of this delay, and I can't understand why it's taking this long.

Gave an address that was hard to find, James was inside, didn't bother to call or bother to answer the call to advise how to get into the property

Millie was very helpful, constantly chasing up the solicitor and keeping me updated throughout ( honestly better than my solicitor!????). I was having trouble with my solicitors and Millie helped to speed up the process and track their progress.
Millie was extremely responsive and always there to answer questions . She is always very polite and friendly. She made it simple and easier to understand as a first time buyer. I wouldn’t have been able to do it without her. Would 100% reccomend Mann and Millie to future buyers!

From start to finish, Mann in Dartford were amazing. Toni and Millie were both helpful and friendly and gave me the time I needed to look around the apartment.
Once I started to have issues with the lawyers holding my purchase up, Millie kept an eye on the progress and constantly helped to speed things up and facilitate the communication on both ends.

Absolutely over-the-moon with the service that Tony provided during our complicated (so we thought, but Tony was an expert with our situation) re-mortgage.
From the moment Tony introduced himself he was utmost
professional, yet instantly created great rapport with us by giving a slight insight in to his sense of humour (don't let that go to your head!) As our case progressed, Tony absolutely shone above and beyond our expectations and really repaired what was quickly becoming a disastrous experience caused by other companies involved in the process (I won't mention our solicitors name!) We had some pressing and worrying issues that we needed advice on out of business hours (unrelated to Mann's involvement), yet Tony made himself available for a call - and gave fantastic consultancy and advice, ultimately offering THE solution - what more can you ask for when you're left to figure out the ins and outs of processes alone by your solicitor!?
Tony's experience is absolutely impeccable - not one question he couldn't answer (and I certainly did test him!)
If you're needing a trusted partner for your home journey - look no further (just be prepared for some cheesy humour...!)

I can honestly say I had dealt with over 15 different estate agent when searching and Mann (in particular Rebecca) was a breath of fresh air and the only one in Kent I want to work with again in the near future. We were ignored, lied too, and even left out of pocket by Anthony Martins - avoid them at all costs! Was great communication until you signed on the dotted line. When we really needed them we couldn't get hold of them (emails, voice messages, personal phone messages, office calls, nothing). Two weeks later we hear from them. Even on completion day, no communication what so ever. Be careful also when they invoice you, as the wording is not accurate. I have never been treated so poorly in my years of renting. The property managers are useless, rude and liars. They all pass blame with each other and nothing gets resolved. Got a refund that they should of resolved for me over a year ago but instead they turned they're back and made me go through Citizens Advice who thank god helped me.
my advice ... stay away!! they only look after buyers and themselves and even though i am looking to buy now i would never ever go with them or recommend them.

Very inefficient and uncaring and thats to say the least. We've had so many problems with our rental property, its taken 9 months of my constantly chasing them to get anything sorted and in the end we found our own contractor.... I would never ever wish to be a private renter with them as my letting agency ever again. My landord is actually leaving them as they have had enough too. Useless!

I called Mann on a Thursday to arrange a viewing, saw it on the Saturday, and moved in the following week. The whole process was as smooth and as easy as you could hope for when moving out for the first time and the staff were nothing but friendly, professional and helpful. Throughout the last 5 years I've always been kept well informed, in good time, and could always contact Mann who would be helpful in getting any queries resolved and have never had any issues with how they've handled anything. I called several different letting agents and registered our interest in renting particular properties that were advertised, as well giving details of what we were after. My experience with Mann letting agency was extremely awesome. My agent (luke) from our initial consultation was very helpful in selecting an ideal property. He picked me up from the train station on the day of our viewings. He kept me informed about each process and was always polite. He even went as far as sorting my mails when there was an issue with the post box keys. Overall personal experience was outstanding. Really pleased with Mann Dartford as my choice of my estate agent.
It was first time selling a property and there are a lot of tips and tricks estate agents put in place to try make you sell via them, I was after somebody who was clear, honest and to the point - Mann were exactly this.
The valuation they gave and got me was higher than any other quote I had and their fee more than reasonable within the market.
I found Kevin and Rachel to be easily approachable and not overly pushy, would highly recommend to anybody in the Dartford area looking to sell, particularly those in Ingress Park as they have good experience in selling properties within this area.

I would highly recommend Mann Dartford to anyone looking to sell their property in the area. Kevin and his team, especially Chantelle were fantastic with the support, advice and professionalism they provided when I sold my house at the end of 2015. Within 20 minutes of me signing the paperwork to place the property on the market they were on the phone to me with two interested parties.
By the following Saturday, 12 viewings had been arranged, and we were offered full asking price. From start to finish they worked tirelessly to ensure exchange and completion happened within a short period of time; liaising with solicitors on both sides, the buyers and ourselves. Without their help the whole process would have taken a lot longer and been a lot more stressful. A truly excellent service.

Mann Dartford handled my recent property sale, and they were an absolute pleasure to deal with. We mostly dealt with Chantelle who managed to perfectly walk the fine line of keeping us up to date without feeling like we were constantly getting calls from the estate agent. This was particularly impressive in the early stages when they arranged a huge number of viewings for the property on the first weekend it was listed (which paid dividends as we didn't then need a second weekend because there was plenty of interest thanks to the large pool of viewings).
We had tenants in the property on the weekend of the viewings, who were not hugely co-operative but Chantelle attended early enough that she was able to resolve any issues and make sure that the place looked good for the prospective buyers.
Very glad we went with Mann and I would recommend the Dartford branch to anyone looking to list a property in the area.

We have recently sold a flat in Dartford through Mann Countrywide, and have had the best experience of dealing with a company that we've had all year. I was starting to think that there was no one left in the UK who did their job properly, but Chantelle (and the rest of the team) has gone a long way to restoring my faith!

This is my first experience letting with Mann but I have found them to be very helpful and professional. The process of signing paperwork and getting keys went off without a hitch and Luke quickly made himself very available whenever I had any questions.
The staff answering the phone in the office have always been friendly as well, which always helps when you're moving to a new area.

What i can honestly say is that the team @ Mann (Dartford) are very dedicated,
Our first contact was with Luke and his knowledge is extensive and honest, his dedication to his job is amazing, despite us going too and from 2 properties in the area he was extremely helpful and understanding,
Then we had dealing's with Tim (branch manager) and again his knowledge is also extensive and he was also extremely patient and understanding when we hit a snag with our previous letting agents...
This is one company that is extremely well organised and I have no hesitations in recomending their services to anybody,
I have delt with many organisation in the past and Mann @ Dartford are the far best so far and deserve acknowledgement and a highly positive review!!

I was first introduced to Tim and his colleague Luke about 3 months ago via Sarah Judge at Mann&Co Dartford,I was very apprehensive about entering the buy to let world until i sat down and spoke with Tim who completely put my mind at ease answering all my questions with ease.Tim suggested to market the property at £950 pcm which to be honest i thought was a little excessive but Tim assured me this amount was quite achievable,over the next few days Tim and Luke had arranged 7 viewings for the forthcoming Saturday.Luke showed prospective tenants around that Saturday giving me feedback ..........and yes true to his word I achieved the full asking price.I cannot thank Tim and Luke enough for their hard work and tireless effort in what i thought would be a difficult experience.Hopefully this is the first of many buy to let properties for myself and i would not hesitate in appointing Tim and Luke again ....Thanks guys

Both Lee Grace and Gabriella Pizza have been most helpful in advising me on viewings and in giving me detailed information on the terms and conditions of letting of the property. The property has only just been let but I am confident that they have provided a good service. I am paying for full management costs but as the property has only just been let I am unable to review this service as yet.
