Extremely dissasitisfied. Lawerra Benette has mislead us and the whole Branch was behind it. The property was on open rent and when we inquired regarding why an agency is being she said the landlady is a friend so we are just doing her favour as she is out of the country. And after everything when we made the offer she said to pay the agent fees which took us by surprise. When we said we will only pay any funds via open rent and go with the open rent policy she started ignoring our calls and in the end was extremely rude and said that if we are not going to pay then forget the deal as she will not rent the property. Her obligation was to inform the landlady about the fact that we had accepted the offer and fornthb landlady to get in touch with us via email, but she didn't even inform the landlady and completed ignore deverything and wasted our day. Martin and co knew about this as I'm sure the whole branch knew what was happening. I am very disaaapiinted and upset over this. We have been lied to and I will not recommend anyone to use this agency for anything, rather I would advise everyone to avoid using the services of Martin and co.

Let me start by saying, I was very nervous before renting out my property. However, after a good introduction/explanation what the company will do for me, by Alex, I was a bit less worried to start our journey. The tenant was found, shortly, checked out to my and the company's high standards. Overall, I can highly recommend this particular branch, I simply cannot vouch for others but the team helped me out in Brentford. Good luck to you all to find such a dedicated honest team as I did. The negative feedback regarding this office are baseless nonsense on this review page. Be aware of liars!! Great team all good helpful people there.

staffs are rude, they promised me to refund the money to my account but still not happened , this is 6 working days but everyday they are say that will happening by tomorrow. they ignore me and run away about the situation , after few time attending to office they passed me to each others. they always lie to me and telling me come tomorrow. NEVER TRUST THAT AGENTS

If there is a bright star of the Estate Agent Universe this is clearly not it. Everything will run relatively smoothly until you move in. Then any problems with the property you are letting inspite of it being over a hundred years old will be YOUR FAULT. Nevertheless if you are told to poke around a drain in the back garden with a stick, Do yourself a favour and call the council. They have previous form for expecting the tenant to deal with issues that are the Landlord's responsibility. Do yourself a massive favour go somewhere else. Throw a dart at a map of agents, whoever you hit could not be any worse. In addition to the above Mike Shrubshall contacted me to request I remove or edit my negative review in exchange for paying for the Drainage Repair which wasn't my fault anyway! When I refused he accused me of being "aggressive" Fabulous customer service accusing the customer of fault when you don't get your own way....You couldn't make this up! SERIOUSLY if it's a choice between building a mud hut on your own and going to Martin and Co.....Build a mud hut. (In response to comments below) The issue with the plumbing was established by the council to be pre-existing. The officer who came out said that it was not the first time they had to deal with Martin and Co over such issues and not the first time that they had tried to stiff the tenant with the bill. The plumbing at the particular property (41 upper Kincraig) actu ally goes 'uphill' Now it doesn't take the brain of Stephen Hawking to realise that you cannot flush excrement uphill. Today I am seeking a reference to move on to another property and because he thinks somehow you shouldn't get irritated by having excrement flooding the back garden and that he is somehow deserving of courtesy and respect at the head of an estate agent that is frankly a total disaster is trying to blackmail me into being "nice" to him in exchange for a reference. My Mum died a month ago....I am being asked to move so they can sucker some other mug into living in the property.

Horrendous - keep away. Tenants - please be aware that the ‘Independent inventory company’ is a shell company run by Mike Shrubshall’s (the manager’s) wife and therefore not independent at all. You can see evidence of this on the Companies House website. Take your own photos if you are a tenant. They do not have the slightest care in the world about their tenants, outrightly lie and ignore all requests to make basic essential repairs for weeks and appear to require you to state intention to sue and enforcement from environmental health to actually do anything at all.
