Anonymous Tenant
AVOID! both as a tenant and as a landlord.
I'm a tenant in a property under their portfolio, I'm facing severe lack of communication and total lack of integrity.
I'm in the unfortunate situation of desperately needing to move out early due to personal health reasons. I can't move out until Maskells finds a replacement tenant.
Their approach has been to try and profit from the situation, which I personally find morally wrong.
Rather than trying to replace me, they are putting an out of the market price to try and squeeze extra pounds of commission without any risk, as the property is not vacant.
Communication related to the process has also been lacking and not transparent.
Tenants: you are better off with some other agencies.
Landlords: find someone with integrity to manage your properties.

Maskells is my "go-to" estate agency in London! I have dealt with sales (Jamie) and lettings (Peter) - both are equally responsive, professional, polite and straightforward (a rare pearl in the property world)! They always take time to do a highly thorough and professional job. I have referred Maskells to friends and colleagues and the feedback has always reflected my own experience. They stand out head and shoulders about the competition!

Poppy and her team have been a tremendous help to us in searching for the perfect flat— from the initial stage of viewing to moving in. Everything was very straight forward and upfront. I’ve dealt with many estate agents before and Maskells have set the new standards for professionalism!
Also, the referencing company that they work with is spectacular! Very speedy and professional.
10/10 would recommend!

After a long search for a property, Poppy from Maskells provided the best service helping us rent a beautiful property. Unlike most agents in our experience who become absent once the signatures are obtained, Poppy was present for any support making the whole process stress free. The whole team at Maskells have been great, I would highly recommend this agency.

Stellar customer service. The agents are extremely helpful and will answer to any enquiry within minutes. Especially memorable was the occasion I managed to lock myself out of my apartment on a cold Sunday evening of all times. Even though this is above and beyond what anyone would consider business hours, my agent Alex took it upon himself to make the 30-minute trip to my apartment and help me get back in. Naturally he did not expect to be compensated for this, illustrating Maskells' exceptional standards when it comes to customer service.

I am extremely satisfied with the service provided by Maskells Estate Agents. I had to move in during first lockdown in March and the team was very efficient allowing me to move smoothly into the property shortly after I signed the contract. I would like to highlight the precious work of Alex who, with fantastic customer service, has promptly solved the few issues I had with the property and he is always available to help.
I highly recommend this agency because of their manners and professionalism.
