I mostly dealt with Andrew in my engagement with Miles and Bird and I don't think the experience could have been more positive. Andrew is helpful, supportive, patient and attentive. The advice I received throughout the process of buying a flat from one of their clients really helped the process to go smoothly and for it to be very pleasant.
Andrew drove the process forward at every stage, and meant that the completion occurred before the September 30th cutoff for Stamp duty holiday - also meaning that their client was able to meet their deadlines for completion as well.
Also I would like to give credit to Sheila at Miles and Bird for her excellent advice when I was in the early stages of buying, giving tips on how best to find the right property and the best number to view before making a decision. That advice stuck with me throughout the stages up to making the offer and was extremely valuable.

There were many uncertain issues in our chain while I was selling the property, Andrew always found out what was going on and update me very fast, which made us relieved and gave us time to prepare for the next.
If you're not native British or new in this area, I believe Miles and Bird would be the best option for you. They work very close to you and explain all the details of sale the property, which the bigger brands do not give, respect your culture back ground, and also know every details of the region.

I instructed Miles & Bird to sell my late stepfather's house in Surrey and was impressed by the professionalism and focus on customer service the whole team displayed throughout the process, made more difficult by the Covid-19 restrictions.they had to work around.
In particular I wish to give special mention to Andrew Miles, my dedicated agent, who with expertise and attention to detail guided the sale of the property from start to finish. When I decided to sell my late stepfather's residence I interviewed a number estate agents and Andrew was by far the standout candidate, providing measured and considered advice about the house and a realistic expectations of its potential on the open market. The strategy he devised for selling the property proved to be the correct one and the sale went through with minimum fuss. Throughout the process he was a calm and reassuring presence and handled the sale with utmost professionalism and integrity.

Just as I was about to sign with a bigger chain estate agent Miles and Bird were recommended to me and based on our first meeting I signed up. Had I made the decision to go with the highstreet chain I'm certain I would not have had the happy outcome I did.
Andrew's service is exceptional, from getting my property on the market and under offer at asking price within 7 days, to staying close to the detail throughout the chain when freeholders, sellers and my own conveyancer continually presented challenges. To say Andrew went the extra mile would be an understatement.

Before approaching Miles & Bird, my sister and I had had a particularly bruising experience with another estate agent - as we looked to sell the family home in East Molesey. We felt extremely let down… and (thankfully) a friend recommended Miles & Bird.
Three weeks and fifteen viewings later, the property was again under offer. This time with Miles & Bird. And THIS time with a buyer who had been thoroughly vetted - and who proved near perfect.
The reason I’ve given Miles & Bird five stars - it’s not just about the happy outcome. It’s about how we got there.
Naz and Andrew were both very supportive, easily reachable, & very much ‘there’ for us & happy to allay any concerns.
The icing on the cake (of the whole process) was an email from the new buyer. They thanked us for some of the furniture we’d left in the house, as requested. And said my sister and I were welcome to knock on their door to revisit the house where we grew up.
That letter was testament to how Naz & Andrew went to great lengths to develop a good relationship with both us and the prospective buyer (and didn’t deter other interested parties - as their precedent had done - until we were on ‘safe ground’).
Thank you again, Naz, Andrew & Dar for helping us achieve this probate sale of the family home. I think you know how much we appreciate the way you support ed us - from start to finish.
It’s hard to imagine a bigger difference between two estate agents. And it’s also hard to imagine me recommending another estate agent as highly.

Miles & Bird sold the house in Putney for more than the two local agents valued it for. They prepared information about the potential for the house (extensions, that sort of thing) & we had lots of viewings and offers to choose from & they helped us choose the right buyer. There was a delay in the grant of probate so in the end my Gran’s house took 11 months to go through. So not only did Miles & Bird get us the best price, they also had to keep a very long sale ‘on track’. They did a thoroughly professional job, and were very kind to us at a sensitive time for the family, even passing on messages of condolences from local well wishers & taking the trouble to get their contact details so we could thank them.

On entering their “emporium “ I was made to feel very welcome indeed by both Naz and Andrew.
They are incredibly professional in their working environment and totally lovely as people.
They have both been in the business long enough to understand all the things the general buying /selling folk hate about estate agents and treat customers like they are the only customers on their books at that time .
We had the most superb efficient friendly and speedy service from Miles and Bird and in fact with their help and contacts were in our new home within 6 weeks!!

We first met Andy Miles when selling our house a few years ago. He was super to work with - very straightforward, helpful and knowledgeable. Even our seller described him as a "real gent", having himself come across Andy before! He has since taken the time to visit our new home to offer advice about improvements, which was very kind as he knew that we would not be likely to be on the move again in the near future!
More recently Naz and Andy generously agreed to support Teddington School and sponsored advertising boards for its annual plant sale Their support went far beyond the normal financial sponsorship of boards - Naz was very enthusiastic and helpful: she spent a morning visiting local shops with me to ask them to put up posters, and also enterprisingly negotiated a free full-page advert for the school sale in a local paper. Andy and Naz also came to the school sale and bought some plants too, which really was a pleasant surprise!

Miles and Bird were friendly, courteous, warm and helpful in their manner and communications with us as potential (and then actual) purchasers. It was lovely to find such professional yet amiable estate agents who seemed to genuinely take an interest in each property in detail, rather than give the impression of seeing each property merely as the next transaction.
We had quite a lot of negotiation before agreeing a deal, and this was also handled very smoothly, diplomatically (given that we as buyers and the seller had the same ultimate interest but differing perspectives on price!) and quickly, meaning that we reached terms agreeable to all within a short space of time and with goodwill between all.
During the following inevitable conveyancing back and forth it was also very helpful to have regular updates from Miles and Bird on progress on the seller's side, and we were comfortable knowing that our progress and queries were being passed on to the seller by the agent as well as filtered through our (slow) solicitor.
After exchange I also wanted to take some measurements at the house and asked a few other questions. Miles and Bird kindly requested this on my behalf and attended the property while I took measurements - they could not have been more helpful. All in all a five start customer service and an agent I would gladly use myself and recommend to others.

"I'm writing this on behalf of my mother because she wanted to thank Miles & Bird following the successful sale of her house. Viewings were grouped together to make the process less disruptive to daily life & about 20 viewings (including revisits)
