Initial valuation was very high compared to final selling price and gave false expectations. Weekly contact didn’t always happen.

I took an appointment with this agency to visit a house and, despite the email they sent me the day before the viewing to confirm the appointment, 15 minutes before the viewing the estate agent Olivia Hales called me to ask if I was on my way to attend the viewing.
I said yes and that I would be there in 20 minutes (my bus was 5 minutes late). She told me that "was a bit late for her" because she had the next viewing scheduled a few minutes after mine. I replied that the viewing was scheduled in 15 minutes and I would do my best to not be late. She told me that would be a "quick viewing then".
15 minutes later I was ten minutes away by walk to the house to visit, I called her to ask if she could wait or we could schedule another appointment for another hour or day. She replied saying that she would email me for another viewing.
She never did and the colleague that called me the day after asking for feedbacks on the viewing, in the moment he heard that I didn't visit the house because of his colleague's unavailability, just hung up the phone.
I would have appreciated being called by the agency, to cancel or reschedule the viewing, the day before or even a few hours before the appointment, I took a day off from work for the appointment and I traveled miles to do my best to be on time.

My wife and I attended a second viewing of a property that interested us a few days earlier. The young man, James Hodgson, who met us was on time, well dressed and very personable. During our visit he showed great maturity and offered a few usefull ideas supporting us in how we could personalise the property should we proceed further. We have made an offer, which has been accepted, and are moving forward.
We have looked at many properties in our quest to satisfy our very specific requirements, and would say James was the most impressive we have met. A credit to himself and his company, Minors & Brady.

I wouldn’t bother with them. We had an offer accepted on a house started all legal proceedings just for them to let us know that the buyer has accepted another offer on it. Why are you still doing viewings and taking offers if you already accepted ours. We had confirmation via email and phone confirmation as well so unless you want to waste your time and be disappointed I would stay well clear of this company.
