Today we had a very tangible near disastrous situation with setting a completion date and near chain collapse for all 5 of us.
The wonder that is Rosie Turley stepped up and went above and beyond to carefully mediate and manage the situation and I’m sure without her it would’ve fallen apart.
Not withstanding the fact the marketing and photography is superb, the after sales experience is very important when selling a home and Rosie offers a 5* service.

I left a review a couple months back due to lack of communication however deleted it as it got better, however back to square one again. I will give it to them that they got us out of our rental property quickly after we paid a lump of money to them for the fees however we have not lived there for 3 weeks now and had minimal response regarding our deposit and 10 days rent refund we were promised back. Apparently they had to wait 2 weeks for an invoice as the flat was re painted and received it last week and still cannot reply to us. I called last week and asked for some communication as nobody responding to me and I was advised I’ll get a call back but never did. If you want an estate agent you don’t have to chase most days for answers I wouldn’t choose this one! It’s okay on communication when they’re getting money however not when we are owed money, it’s ever so frustrating when we are owed around £1500 back of hardworking money and it being withheld from you!

Rosie was my aftersales rep and what a rollercoaster we went on...a very turbulent rollercoaster. 7 months from listing to exchange and we finally did it. I felt I was pushed aggressively throughout the onboarding process.
Here's what happened:
- Admin error claiming the property was available from 9th August, when this was 9th September. This admin error caused me great stress as I was relying on moving in around the move-in date.
- Their referencing company, LetAlliance, conducted extensive and invasive background checks on us. Demanded I gave them 6 months of bank statements to prove I had a home address. This is relevant to Minor's and Brady as it's a component of the move-in process.
- Repeatedly requesting the same documents despite giving them what was necessary. For example, I had given them a passport, and they requested this 3 additional times after.
- Daily spam emails for documents. Got annoying, so I moved them to my spam folder.
- Attempted to harass my phone number (which I couldn't see because I was abroad), then harassed my friends immediately afterwards, causing additional problems for information they had already received.
- Lack of clarity regarding who would be controlling the communications of the property.
Even our landlady became annoyed and parted ways with Minor's and Brady. Avoid like the plague.
(Edit: Minor's and Brady were responsive to feedback and personally sent me an email. As a result of my misunderstanding, I have updated the review to accurately reflect my experience).

It all came about rather strangely. There was a house further up the street which is almost identical to ours and was up for sale and a couple tried to buy the other house but failed was interested in ours. Your representative came to us and asked if it would be alright for the couple to view ours. We cleared it with the estate agent we were with if it would be OK for them to view. They said it would allow a one contract one viewing. The couple came and viewed and put an offer in the next day. So the house was sold. You can thank your representative for being on the ball.

'MINORS AND SHADY'
Found a house with minors and Brady. We had an offer accepted and the house was off the market. We listed with them due to buying with them. All was good.
They told us to get solicitors to speed up the process (we paid solicitors)
After that they then went behind our back and kept having viewings and taking offers on the STC we had.
They pushed the others up by 30k a then went ahead to bump up there commission.
No contact from them to inform us while we were still paying solicitors to get the deal done.
Seeing many other reviews this is a common practice. Would not trust.

I took an appointment with this agency to visit a house and, despite the email they sent me the day before the viewing to confirm the appointment, 15 minutes before the viewing the estate agent Olivia Hales called me to ask if I was on my way to attend the viewing.
I said yes and that I would be there in 20 minutes (my bus was 5 minutes late). She told me that "was a bit late for her" because she had the next viewing scheduled a few minutes after mine. I replied that the viewing was scheduled in 15 minutes and I would do my best to not be late. She told me that would be a "quick viewing then".
15 minutes later I was ten minutes away by walk to the house to visit, I called her to ask if she could wait or we could schedule another appointment for another hour or day. She replied saying that she would email me for another viewing.
She never did and the colleague that called me the day after asking for feedbacks on the viewing, in the moment he heard that I didn't visit the house because of his colleague's unavailability, just hung up the phone.
I would have appreciated being called by the agency, to cancel or reschedule the viewing, the day before or even a few hours before the appointment, I took a day off from work for the appointment and I traveled miles to do my best to be on time.

Why are you still doing viewings and taking offers if you already accepted ours. From the first conversation to the viewing, Steven has been so helpful, professional and no question was too much for him. Why was this not included in the original conversations and only coming up 4 months later. All at Minors & Brady were great throughout my sale, but this is a particular mention for the wonderful Rosie Turley, who was the very necessary midwife (After sales manager) to the sale of my house. Everything you want in the best possible midwife! Calm, wise, efficient, extremely empathetic, genuinely so, with both vendor and purchaser, which is how she ensure that both sides remained in touch, and in pursuit of a good outcome, during a really tricky process.
It was a very long and wearing struggle and at times it looked really vulnerable. Rosie has been amazing. Her patience tact and thoughtful skill in her management of the people involved and the process was outstanding. Rosie’s enormous capacity for well-expressed, genuine, empathy, and her ability to keep all sides on board no matter how frayed tempers became has saved this sale. She has managed to maintain a really great relationship with both sides throughout, and without that I think it would have fallen through. Solicitors can be tough to understand in their arrangements and Rosie was great, prodding where necessary and talking us all down when things were stressful.
Rosie’s unusual ability to combine real professionalism with great sensitivity is exceptional - and she is such a pleasure to deal with.
I think Rosie will by now be blushing adequately so I will just say also that Minors & Brady have been the best estate agency experience I have ever had. The pricing was right, the photography was wonderful, the marketing was perfect, and the communications have been excellent all through.

We had a really poor experience with M&B on the sale of our flat. At initial valuation we were “guaranteed” that some offers placed on another flat in our building to be ported over to our flat- when this didn’t happen we were informed it was a “mistake” and there weren’t any offers to port over. There was then a disagreement between our 2 estate agents (as we had dual listed) on who took the sale. We didn’t have a preference over who took it, but the M&B team called our first time buyer threatening that there would be legal action if they didn’t get the sale which almost scared him into withdrawing his offer. Once that was sorted out there were numerous delays in the process of the sale, most of which was due to poor solicitors etc but the initial aftersales was awful. We went months where the only conversation we received from the aftersales lead on our case was ‘FYI’ with forwarded emails. It got to the point we had to ask for the manager of aftersales to take on our case so we received some actual politeness and proactive behaviour. The two stars are for Emma Atkin alone, had she have not taken on our sale when we asked her too I doubt it would have completed, but 8 months later she got us there. Despite Emma being great, we would not list or preferably even buy through M&B again.

Very polite over the phone, lovely photos and videography but made alot of mistakes in floor plan and description. Was promised a drone and videography. Videography took two weeks from going to market to appear and drone shots took 6 weeks! We only got one viewing in 8 weeks. Didn't give any other ideas how to sell other than lowering the price x 2 in this time, they wanted to lower by 75 grand! So either valued too high or wanted to have a quick sale through selling too low. They also sent a letter to us the day of telling us we needed to lower the price of property saying if they were our agent they would try xyz before lowering the price (none of which they tried!) and that they think our hpuse is worth the money. The letter was clearly a clerical error but didn't give us much confidence that our custom was priority. Went with a new agent and within 2 weeks we have had 5 viewings.

Jasmine Fitt and 3 others at Minors & Brady helped my Husband and I find our new home in Norwich after we had a nightmare situation happen with another agency leaving us homeless the day before our move!
I immediately started looking for another property as we had all our belongings packed up in a van ready to move from London to Norwich the following morning.
When I called M&B to enquire about viewing the property and explained our situation to Jasmine, she moved with so much urgency and organised a next day viewing of the property. Her colleague Elliot Stubbs who was in office on Coronation Bank Holiday day received our offer and put it through to the landlord.
We were then was handed over to Luke Savins who confirmed the landlord accepted our offer and then spoke with him to sort out paying our deposit. He was super attentive to the the urgency of the situation and efficient with any questions we had about the entire process.
Once everything was received, I then liaised with Beth Linden to complete the rest of the application and everything was processed in one week she ensured everything was super speedy!
Overall had an amazing experience with everyone at Minors and Brady and we are so grateful for them saving us and finding our new home here in Norwich.
They not only have great staff, but really good properties. My Husband and I will definitely be using their services in the future when we start looking for our forever home to buy here in Norfolk.

Having suffered a close bereavement & trying to work my way through Covid hit Wills & Probate departments, alone & with no experience, I was grief stricken & had several High St Estate Agents value the house I was living in & inheriting. I was promised to be guided every step of the way through Conveyancing (?), Contracts (?) & moving but I wasn’t listened to & felt patronised, undervalued as much as the property, I took my house off the market with a well established high street Estate Agent & had 3 others visit my property to revalue it. I was fed up with the dishonesty, sales patter & frankly the “Steth Sells Flats” attitude of some of these guys vying for my sale but one stood out from the start so If you want to feel listened to & fully supported through, let’s face it, the biggest sale or purchase of your life, I urge you to contact Minors & Brady. At the end of the day buying & selling anything is a transaction & where there is commission there is BS but I found if you are straight with this young & hungry, modern and forward thinking Estate Agents, the service returned, goes above and beyond. Well it certainly did with Joe Balfour in the Unthank Road office. Having built a great relationship with Connor who is now in Lowestoft, Joe stepped in and held my hand through every step, offering advice, support & always being there for me if I had a wobble in the process. At the end of the day, life is about people & relationships & Joe is a young, hungry professional guy but he is unusually sincere & authentic for an Estate Agent lol! He genuinely cares & always returned my calls with his contagious upbeat, cheerful good humour. The whole team are great, Kris, James, Hugo & Kirsten but credit where it’s due, in my situation, I needed a Joe. With the offer on my property I wanted, I am now under the care of the very special Cass, who is explaining everything to me about this complicated stage of searches, chains & contracts. I can’t recommend this company highly enough but it is down to Joe Balfour & now Cassandra Creek. I shall miss them both terribly!

Rosie Rosie Rosie. We were having issues with our chain and some outstanding enquires. I contacted Rosie who was dealing with the bottom of the chain, so not even my agent, and she went above and beyond anything I could have imagined. Kept me in the loop, gave me constant updates and treated me with respect throughout. In moments of stress she really put our minds at ease, which is something the agent I was paying didn't do.
Even on exchanging day Rosie went out of her way to chase the chain and keep everyone informed, even offering advice on how to get things moving along... again not my agent!
If I were selling or buying a house again, I would definitely come through Minors & Brady and would request Rosie deals with my house.
