I have had the complex experience of selling an Oswestry property while living 200 miles away. From initial valuation through to completion, Monks has been unfailing in professionalism, efficiency, courtesy, helpfulness, understanding, humanity, care, timely response, and everything else that goes into providing excellent service. This applies to everyone I encountered both at a distance and on personal visits, and principally to Beth Griffiths who handled our sale. Not having previous experience of selling a property, I needed answers to the most basic questions, I needed to know that I could trust the experience and wisdom of the person advising me and overseeing the whole process. All these Beth provided and more – she was always approachable, knowledgeable and helpful, with no hesitation in stepping in effectively when things became becalmed through inactivity of other organizations. She dismissed this as simply being her job, but a job can be done badly or brilliantly and she was brilliant. Monks negotiated seamlessly with our private buyer (hence no advertising rating above) and eased the stress of a potentially stressful process. I could not commend them more highly.... Read more
