12th Mar 2026 (13 weeks ago)Savills were the letting agent for my property for about 6yrs after being bought by Area Estates. Savills do bare minimum with regards to repairs and maintenance. Camilla Kirby who recently left the company was lovely and made every effort to assist with the limited authority she had, sadly she was replaced by Rachel Bentley who is condescending, rude and quite frankly should not deal with the public in any capacity. Following a S21 notice due to selling before the new landlord rules come into affect in May, they attempted to charge £760 for removal of a fish tank from the loft of property despite it being in the property from the beginning of the tenancy and having no proof it wasn’t. She lied in a reference and stated that it couldn’t be changed as the director had approved it, and when I pressed her saying the reference was factually incorrect she stated “the DWP may be able to assist you with something in writing about your benefits”.
6th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)Avoid at all costs Horrific experience with this letting agent. They would never reply to any emails about work needing to be done. However if they needed something they would expect me to reply straight away. For months I asked if something could be done over the flooring as it was so poorly fitted and a huge trip hazard, we had a child in the house. They refused to fix the floor but tried to take my deposit to replace it once I left. The DPS obviously didn't agree to this as the flooring was in such poor condition on commencement of the tenancy. I feel sorry to whoever has moved into the property as it was in desperate need of decorating. I think the landlord had tried to do odd jobs themself but clearly wasn't very skilled. The car park was also underwater due to the biggest pothole I have ever seen. We only lived in the property for a year because we couldn't cope with the lack of communication. Our current letting agent and all previous have been amazing so we weren't expecting such a poor experience.

11th May 2026 (28 days ago)We recently exchange contracts on a property. Gary was brilliant from start to finish. Great communication from negotiating and updates throughout the process. Alan who showed us round on a few occasions was also brilliant. Knowledgeable about the properties and very personable! I would recommend the agent for selling and buying very professional. They dealt with any issues that arose during the process swiftly and positively, and kept us updated at all times. They also liaised between solicitors, vendors and neighbours, helping to keep our purchase moving forwards. We've already recommended them to friends and family looking to sell.
21st Dec 2025 (24 weeks ago)Our process hasn’t finished yet so not sure of value for money but they were cheaper than most and the property is sold. Only irritation is that this was a probate sale and my sisters were often not emailed information, despite multiple requests that we all be kept informed
27th May 2026 (12 days ago)HOLLAND BROADBRIDGE in general and CHARLOTTE JONES in particular are highly recommended ! Every staff member involved with our property sale has been absolutely superb ! Email responses to/from the team come quickly, phones are answered promptly, advice is offered where necessary. Our property was vacant and viewings were arranged and accompanied by HB. We were notified in advance of each viewing, always by email and often by phone too. We had the opportunity to cancel if inconvenient for any reason. Once we had accepted an offer, our sale was managed by Charlotte Jones. She is exceptional! Charlotte kept me informed sometimes many times a day. She phones, she emails, she chases whoever is blocking progress, she responds to my emails or phones me within minutes of me raising a query, she chases again! Our process was complicated by my conveyancing solicitor (from an online conveyancing firm) being utterly useless. The solicitor made Charlotte's life tough. He literally never answered his phone or emails from the buyer's solicitor or Charlotte. He rarely responded to emails from his paying client (me) and then ignored specific questions I'd asked. Only Charlotte's tenacity in constantly chasing to keep the process moving, and her calm smoothing of waters when my buyer threatened to pull out due to the unnecessary delays caused by my solicitor's absence of timely responses allowed us to make it to completion. I have received prompt and helpful replies regarding booking viewings and reminders about applying for properties. When many other agents don’t even reply, this has been incredibly refreshing and helpful!

23rd May 2026 (16 days ago)Having viewed properties through other agents and finding them to be quite pushy, it was great to meet Sam and have him guide us through purchasing a property. From the start Sam was attentive and helpful at no point did I feel he was pushing the sale. He encouraged us to have a second viewing before making an offer so that we were sure of the purchase and checking in with use throughout the process. Happy with the experience.
