The staff at MW have been so friendly and have worked well with us and for us to help secure a sale. We recently used Moving Works for our house sale. We decided to go with them after seeing how much more effort they put into their customers house sale listings. Their presentation, photos/videos and detail are levels above the competition.
It only got better as it went on.
Our assigned agent Philippa was simply incredible from start to finish. She was so easy to get on with and when it came to the work, nothing was too much. She was proactive, responsive and knowledgeable about anything that we threw at her.
24 hours after our house was listed we got 7 viewings for the weekend and 24 hours after the viewings that Philippa did for us, we got 4 offers above asking price.
The best decision we ever made with regards to our house, you really are in safe hands with Philippa and Moving Works.

Having not worked with moving works directly, during the high winds of January 2024 a tree fell down in one of their managed properties, which ended up in my tenants garden.
They dealt with the situation with professionalism and was also responsive. The tree was removed within a week.
Being in business for nearly 20 years I find a real test to a businesses ethics is how they deal with a situation.
After recommending one of my contractors to carry out the work the replacement fence is now complete.
All in all it was a very smooth, unfortunate incident, That was handled with minimal stress. In what could have been a very stressful situation.

MovingWorks handled the sale of a flat I purchased in Leyland, and they were exceptional. I had a ton of problems with chasing my solictor who was hard to get in touch with and did not treat me well as a client (I'm making an official complaint about them) but the whole process was made better by Michelle at MovingWorks, she explained more to me about the steps and stages of my purchase than my solictor (as it was a first time purchase) and put me at ease, and chased my solictor too! She was amazing, and Phillipa was too. Can't recommend them enough. I don't plan on moving any time soon, but I would use MovingWorks all day. Amazing and understanding. Thanks very much ????

Time go back 2008 December when they had a small office at Bamberbridge. I Purchased a property at Walton Le Dale PR5 4 area through this rude agent. I was offended from the youngster employed by them during viewing, transaction and even during the collection of key. I was wondered why they behaving like this to me. There was no Google reviews during that time, now I got chance expose this arrogant agent. Any way their days are numbered as online agents are growing and is big threat to these local cowboys.

The sale of my property has been quite a shambles from start to finish. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone and certainly wouldn’t ever use this agent in any future house sales. I was pressured by the estate agent to move out of the property daily via phone calls before the sale was even complete. Eventually gave in and agreed to move out as they told me the property would be completing. Ended up having to pay for an empty house 7 weeks longer than I should have. They gave me 10% discount on my fee’s because of the poor experience and the treatment i’d had. My whole experience was completely towards my buyers benefit, constantly guilt tripped to act in their favour, it’s been very stressful. Even today, the date of completion with zero prior communication regarding competition day, I’ve had multiple phone calls asking me to leave work and bring the keys for the house because the new owner was there waiting. No prior arrangement, or to tell me what was required, I believed they already had a key.This is the sale of my first house, so first ever house sale and hopefully I never have to go through this experience again. Certainly wouldn’t be with this company anyway.

Recently sold our house with the help of Jenny at Moving Works. Our property was not ‘standard’ and with the expertise of Jenny and Georgina we successfully marketed the house through one of their excellent live viewings presented by Jenny and a well presented portfolio of photographs.
Jenny has provided excellent advice and support and kept us well informed throughout the process. She delivered a viewing day for prospective buyers resulting in a sale on the day above the guide price.
This is the second time we have used Moving Works to sell a property and would highly recommend.

We used Movingworks having previously had our house up for sale with another agent in the area, if only we had come to them first!
Jenny was professional, did exactly what she said she was going to do and just got on with it, we had already moved so we wanted an agent to take care of everything and give us a call when they had an offer, rather than the weekly call of excuses why they hadn't sold it, like our previous agent.
It took no time at all to receive an acceptable offer and Jenny and the Movingworks team were there every step of the way until completion.
Our only regret is that we didn't go to Movingworks first, we can't recommend then enough and particularly Jenny!

Beyond useless, would not trust them with buy to lets. No effort made to inspect properties, property was filthy when we moved in, they lied about many things and it was a complete joke from start to end.
Would of hated to be the Landlord living in Manchester (not abroad as was told to us).
The neighbours were awful and filthy keeping dogs when we were told they aren’t allowed, we paid for a cleaner to clean the shared hallway and the neighbour pretended to the other neighbours they organised the cleaner, there was some strange connection with the neighbour and moving works (we think their relative worked there).
There isn’t a qualification to be an estate agent, it’s a simple job, Shame they can’t get the simple things right.

Service above and beyond the call of duty up buyers , fellow agents and solicitors to ensure the sale went through. Richard earned every penny of his fee with expert negations with the seller of the house we bought.
