Right from the word go, they were friendly, gave us the right honest advice on pricing our home for a sale, unlike another agent. Feedback on each viewing is collated on an easy to access link. They sold our home in less than a month. They were so helpful, supportive and proactive to get the exchange of contracts completed despite a tricky chain. Highly recommend them. My experience with Rachel and Michael at Naomi J Ryan Exeter was brief but sweet - not something you can often say about dealings with estate agents! They marketed my property as part of a Easy mover scheme with a local new build developer. Although they didn't end up making the sale (it went to another estate agents who had it on the market for nearly 4 months) the quality of their work, their professionalism, and a feeling that they genuinely cared about my situation, means it has been a fabulous experience.
Michael valued our home, and took the marketing photos and video, and was so polite and courteous at all times. He even gave me some sage, honest advice re the value of my home when I was in a predicament over whether or not to accept an offer. If I ever come to sell my property again, these people will be my first port of call. Very competitively priced too. Highly recommend!

Not great if I'm being honest and Estate Agents wonder why no one trusts them. I arranged and went to view a property in Cranbrook on a shared ownership scheme. This was all fine and no issues however the viewing was conducted by someone who didn't really have any knowledge of the property as she wasn't someone who normally conducted viewings.
After trying to make an offer and applying I was informed that someone else had made an offer and it was the policy to continue viewings until Livewest confirmed an application.
At no point in the two/three weeks prior did Naiomi J Ryan see it appropriate to mention that someone had already made an offer on this house. Its the lack of transparency not the fact someone else had already made an offer.
Michael did politely explain take the time to explain this however their colleague was less than forthcoming and clearly saw it as not their problem.
Bearing in mind my parents are also in the market for a new house in the Exeter area (above £1M) and we have viewed other properties, this has made them reconsider any further properties marketed by this estate agent and I think you need to carefully consider the level of service and transparency they wish to provide.

From the moment I met with staff member Natalie, things just seemed easier. Staff listened to my requirements, clearly understood my aims and budget and helpfully came up with a solution. Choosing the best estate agent is always a challenge, but the experience that I had with Naomi Ryan means that I can wholeheartedly recommend them for many reasons. Michael ( my agent) was so honest, friendly and helpful throughout every stage of the sale, (yes, I am talking about estate agents!). Whilst he was away on holiday every person in the office, who answered the phone knew all about the sale of the property and were extremely helpful and exceptionally efficient.
They won't negotiate on their costs, but ' you only get what you pay for,' seems rather appropriate here.
If you want a hassle free sale, you can trust Naomi Ryan to make it as ' pain free' as possible! If I sold again, they would be my first choice.

Absolutely shocking customer service, my husband, my baby and i viewed a property that naomi j ryan advertised. We submitted our application, we were then told that the landlord wanted to have other people to view the property before they made a decision. Instead of a yes or no we were left in the limbo for a week and a half to be told a no. We don't think it is acceptable to let customers wait that length of time for a decision. It is a bit like (i work in retail) two people wanting the same dress which is the same size , its the only one and we have to decide who is getting a dress telling them they have to wait a week to see if they are ones getting the dress. Then telling both they can't have the dress. We were told they will phone us at certain times and never did. Leaving us to do the chasing and wasting our time. Will not be using Naomi J Ryan again.

We were settled into our new home incredibly quickly, and although we were both in Japan just before moving in, there was no fuss or hassle as all the paperwork could be completed online. The highlight was definitely visiting Gus, the gorgeous Dachshund, in the office!

I cannot express my appreciation for Naomi and her staff, I have been dealing with Michael on the sale of my late mothers property and I have received such support during a difficult time. The efficiency and professionalism is outstanding and quick replies to any queries I'vehad have been quick and concise. I have used this agent on 3 occasions now and would recommend them to friends and family.

I had a terrible experience with this agent earlier this year. I was unfortunate enough to deal with her over my house purchase. In stark contrast, sadly, to other agents in the past and professionals involved in my recent purchase (e.g. solicitor, bank, surveyor - all deserving of full 5 stars). I had my offer accepted but the agent refused to issue the memorandum of sale until the vendor (another lovely and very reasonable person to work with) had secured a purchase, to do otherwise, I was told by the agent, "would be breaking the law", which of course is false. I checked with two solicitors, the first laughed at the absurdity of the dubious claim and the second took a very dim view of offering such 'legal' advice. I found her obstructive and very nearly withdrew my offer, so not so great for purchasers or vendors. Having to deal with this agent made the move considerably more stressful than it otherwise should have been (both of us were chain free). I couldn't in all faith do anything other not recommend her.
