Highly impressed with Newmans, they achieved a sale of my home higher than asking price after the first evening of viewings. Paul Petticrew took the time to, publish professional photos and videos of our house and handled all viewings and provided regular feedback. Superb!!

After my mother viewed a property and put in an offer which was accepted and we were told that the property would be my mums on the sale of her own house we were happy. HOWEVER. after being informed by a relative that the for sale sign had been taken down I decided to call Newman's this morning only to be told that the property was no longer for sale no warning g no nothing. The fact that we were not informed of this is disgusting and if I hadn't called them I dread to think what would have happened to my 76 year old disabled mother who told that the property was basically hers. Absolutely dreadful customer service. The salesperson dealing with this property should be ashamed of himself. Customer service is a zero. Beware.

Agree with the last review dubious sales techniques Newman's advertise properties as if they are Auction properties, with the statement When advertised 'STARTING BIDS FROM'
Will not be using a company that artificially trys to inflate prices for chiefly their own benefits. Why would anyone wish to enter into a bidding war buying a property is stressful enough.

Why are properties being advertised with Newmans with the statement STARTING BIDS FROM is Newmans now an Auction house if it is, it should state so, no other estate agency I know advertises in this way I will not bid on a house unless it is in an Auction so wont be using Newmans.

Really impressed with Newmans, they achieved a sale of my home close to asking price in tough conditions within 10 days. Paul Petticrew took the time to review the package, publish photos and videos of the home, took control of the viewings and provided regular feedback. Great work.

Worst agency ever. Promised me new carpet before I moved in. I notified them that a window didn’t close properly and they ignored it which lead to a robbery. Myself and houses-mate lost goods with a total of over 400 pounds including sentimental values and my passport. I was compensated £50 for all of this as they claimed they weren’t liable for it cause I didn’t have tenant insurance ( but why would I when the flat isn’t secured. is it even legal ? ). The carpet promised was never received. The staff are programmed and don’t show and sympathy or emotion they just keep a high pitched voice and cover themselves. They are a money motivated company not caring for customer saturation or safety. I would strongly recommend you don’t work with them.

Very nice experience with Newman property experts. Catherine Vears is my case walker and she is simply superb ,easily reachable even on weekends and after working hours. I would recommend her and Newman estate agents.

Her determination from start to finish was unreal and I found out more or less every bit of information about the chain quicker through Catherine than I did my own solicitor/agents. We've used Newman's for last past 2 house sales!! We couldn't recommend them highly enough.
In particular Michael Mooney marketing our property & Catherine Vears who dealt with our viewings & sale through to completion.
It would be fair to say, it was Catherine's determination & dedication to our sale that resulted in a successful completion.
It wasn't without its stresses but Catherine was available any time of day to reassure & her contact throughout is above & beyond any other estate agent I've known.

I used Newman to sell my home after trying with another agent who faied to get me a result. After two weeks, they held an open house after their marketing wizardry! They had 16 people view my home and I got £22,000 over the asking price. Amazing....I particularly liked the Virtual Reality Viewing they constructed and the Drone footage. Thank you Newman - we love our new home!!!

Unprofessional and sometimes Dishonest.

Shocking experience. Waited for 2 weeks for an "Open house" to which we were told 6 viewings were booked. We observed the house on the day of the Open house and only 1 family attended.
On returning to our house the agent fabricated 2 other viewings and when confronted could only say he was sorry for lying .
Immediately removed him from our property and Newman sent in number 2.
He was told several times not to contact the people we had intended to purchase a house from as it may jeopardise our purchase, yet that is exactly what he did which resulted in the loss of the property we had wanted to purchase
I would not use this team if they were the last agency on the face of the planet

Today marks 1 week that we put an offer in for a house with newmans. We were told it's a very strong offer and that we will be hearing back the next day.......we are still waiting. Every point of contact with Newman's we have had to chase. Bradley dealt with us and ignored all our contact attempts up until it was offer time. Office staff were lovely and very helpful....but in the end we don't have the house because Bradley was clearly poorly trained and unprofessional.

Brendan has been honest, efficient, and supportive throughout. Quickly viewed and appraised the property. Others didn't act so efficiently, so once we got the evaluation we went with Newman's. We got an offer of the asking price within a couple of days. That sale fell through but Brendan and team were on the case and another buyer found within a week and now we've sold. From beginning to end, 2.5 months and only because we were abroad, so paperwork was a little delayed.
I would use and recommend Newman's any day. Thank you.
