Comes to desperation when it’s own staff start giving themselves 5 star reviews to save a 60 yr somewhat reputation. If you ever wonder why there are so many homeless veterans on the streets then this agency is EXACTLY that reason. Myself and my RBL support worker had been heavily lied to before I signed the lease about rental increases to which they replied we prefer ‘happy’ tenants when questioned and then utilising the awarded funding by the Legion to help me move. TRUE FACT - This agency sends by default a yearly email to all landlords asking if they want an extra bag of money (rental increase) ?? …to which obviously the agency will get a percentage of and of course my landlord who bragged at how wealthy he is with property abroad and had in fact inherited the house has indeed agreed to it - nothing more than sheer greed on both sides. Please be very wary of this agency don’t move into any of their properties unless you want yearly increases forced onto you, you will not survive. As a former soldier, now veteran and student Nurse I wonder why I served for business like this to survive, it’s time Estate Agents became regulated at least Dick Turpin had the decency to wear a mask . Once again I’m facing homelessness with eviction who paid the rent and looked after the house only a year in but this time I won’t go quietly. SUPPORT your Veterans and give this Agency a very wide birth.... Read more

I can confirm that this agency has provided falsehoods about yearly rental increases and are, in fact, evicting veterans from rental houses in the area. I am a caseworker for the RBL and RMC and went to view one of their properties for a veteran on my case load.. A question raised by the charity was that of yearly increases or as and when ? the reply of hardly never came the reply we like HAPPY tenants. A grant was provided to help our veteran move into her long-time home, or so we thought. Since moving into the property, our veteran has cared for the property, gone above and beyond duties of maintaining the landlord's gardens, which is more than just mowing a lawn. The agent that moved her in is no longer at the agency and has been replaced by an agent who seems nothing more than content to be offensive and a novice in her position. I have witnessed emails of accusations against my veteran and have taken the matter to the council, removed the agency from any veteran referral scheme, and once again helping to rehouse.... Cannot fault them. Myself and my wife booked a day off to view houses in and around north Yorkshire as we were relocating from North Wales due to work commitments. On the drive we had atleast 7 viewings booked and all bar 1 cancelled due to the amount of interest. We ended up going into Northallerton estate agents to find anymore properties so our journey wasn't a wasted effort. They spent nearly an hour chatting with us the letting agents showed us round a few and we found one. We filled the paperwork out there and then and even received a phone call the following day to say we had been approved. Very efficient team and very happy to chat. As a veteran and living either married quarters or rented housing, we found our 12 month stay very welcoming any faults reported were actioned quickly and with urgency. When we where moving from Northallerton from Anglesey we came down for a few days to view rentels. We lost a lot of views due to demand so when driving road we saw Northallerton estate agency and they went above and beyond to help us find a house to view the same day, Lovely staff and will definitely use again when needed ....
