In 2019/20 we purchased a property through Norton Rickett. Due to changing personal circumstances in 2023 we found ourselves having to relocate so called Paul to arrange a valuation on our property. Hasten to say, we placed it on the market with Norton Rickett and were very pleased that we sold in a difficult market, at a price we were satisfied with, which incidentally wasn’t far off the valuation Paul gave.
Our experience with purchasing the property was one of good communication and within their control, Paul and Nick always did what they promised when they promised. Selling the property was no different. Having two individuals looking after your interests with the combined experience of this pair is worth every penny. If there was a reason why something couldn’t happen as expected, however tricky or unpalatable it might have been at the time, they were communicating without delay. House moving is a stressful business, but with Paul and Nick’s calm, logical process and skill, they manage to make sense of issues which are often far from their control.
With our careers we have sold and purchased properties many times. With no exception, in our experience Norton Rickett have been the most professional of any estate agent we have used. Thank you Paul and Nick for your valued service.

We cannot rate Paul and Nick highly enough! We had the most professional yet very personable experience with buying a house from them. With no chain either side they helped us to complete within just 7 weeks. We cannot thank them enough for how flexible they were with letting us view the house on multiple occasions with kitchen fitters and designers etc during the house buying process. We loved working with them, and would not think to sell through anyone else in the future either. Thank you again, Sam, Cherie (and little Hope).

We cannot recommend Norton Ricket enough. Paul and Nick are very knowledgeable and personable.
They kept us regularly updated throughout the sale of our cottage and dealt with solicitors and 3rd party estate agents to ensure everything was progressing as it should. They made what could have been very stressful, quite easy. We just left them to it. They even recommended a good roofer when we had issues with the slate roof on the property we were selling. Five star service.

Paul and Nick have successfully sold two houses for me before so there was no question about going to them again to sell my mothers house after she died.
They are so professional and knowledgeable whilst always being friendly and approachable.
Given the circumstances of this sale there was a lot of emotion invoked in selling the family home. Nick and Paul were very kind, patient and reassuring which was so appreciated.

Nick and Paul just over 4 years ago and had no doubts that they would do a great job for us when we sold the same house very recently.
Both are very experienced estate agents, well connected in the Stamford/ Peterborough area and we found always available on the other end of the phone with well considered professional advice.
We wouldn’t hesitate to buy from them or instruct them to sell for us in the future.

We cannot praise Paul and Nick at NortonRickett enough, but we’ll give it a go.
Illness forced us to downsize to a bungalow they were marketing and they guided us from our initial interest through to completion, keeping us informed of the progress throughout with regular updates.
We were so impressed, we decided to market our current home through them. Timing of the sale was important as we transitioned from one home to the other and their advice on this and managing viewings, was crucial in achieving a successful sale.
They pleasantly surprised us with their valuation but we had no shortage of viewings by genuine buyers. In fact, our house sold within a week with 5 offers over the asking price. At that stage their advice was crucial in ensuring the sale progressed to completion without a hitch.
Paul and Nick are so very personable and professional and importantly, honest and pragmatic.
They kept us regularly updated throughout our sale and purchase and ‘pursued’ solicitors and 3rd party estate agents, I’m sure in the nicest possible way, to ensure everything was progressing as it should. All we had to do was sit back and let it happen - in fact, our solicitor commented that “we were in very safe hands with Paul and Nick ”.
We cannot recommend them highly enough - thank you both so much.

We bought our Peterborough house 15 years ago from Paul and Nick when they were at Carter Jonas and stayed in touch afterwards when they set up their own business, Norton Rickett. After a few years of deliberating about whether to sell or not, we finally decided to move late last summer/ early Autumn (2021) and Norton Rickett was our first port of call. Their advice was solid and the sale process was handled very professionally. Inevitably we encountered a few issues along the way, however, these were dealt with to our satisfaction and the sale went through first time to the original buyer. We look forward to working with Paul and Nick in the future.
