Horrendous, if you are thinking of renting through Oakheart, don’t! They are my managing agents and have failed to repair any issues. The property I am renting has been deemed inhabitable and we have been met with nothing but disrespect. They still expect us to live in these conditions and suffer weeks and weeks worth of work. I cannot put into words how awful this has been. To the point I have had to request a termination. Not even a 1 star. Here are some photos.... Read more

We were looking for a property to rent on Mersea and the estate agent in the office seemed to be very helpful offering to show us a property on the High Street. When we saw it we felt it was suitable for us so we requested to rent it but we were told we needed to wait 4 days for the landlord to decide if he was happy to rent to us. We waited over 1 and a half weeks before we phoned them again after not hearing anything. They still had no news. Then three further days later they called to say we were not the type of people that the landlord wanted to rent to as we had small children and a dog. This criteria should have been defined at the beginning and we should not have been offered the property. This turned out to be a complete waste of our time and we are very disappointed with this estate agents. We do not recommend the leasing element of this branch.... Read more
