We can’t thank Jay and his team Lewis and Dan at Oakwood enough for all their help in selling our flat. From the initial valuation, to exchange they were always on hand to offer advice, calm any jitters and be at the end of the phone. Selling your home is a stressful business and if you want an estate agent to go the extra mile and have your back then Oakwood it is! Our experience of working with Oakwood - Jay specifically - could not be topped. He secured us a sale price that was significantly above what we expected within a week of putting our flat on the market and guided the process through to completion with professionalism, sensitivity and - when needed! - humour. When we had a few bumps in the road, Jay was an absolute life-line, keeping us on track and giving great advice when needed. He is a true pro and knows the N16 market like no other.

Second time using Oakwood, but this time as a seller. We initially used another supposedly 'big name' agency in the area but they struggled to find us a buyer.
Fast forward a couple of months and I got in touch with Jay, Lewis and Team at Oakwood again after they handled my purchase previously.
Three offers on the table after the first weekend and that was it. No hassle, straight forward and always responsive communication. Highly recommended.

I have used Oakwood for 20 years to manage the rental of my North London property. In all that time they have never let me down. Clare, who runs that department, is not only professional but just such a lovely person. As with any property there has been the occasional maintenance issue to resolve and they have always communicated promptly and dealt with it swiftly so my tenant has been inconvenienced as little as possible. The most dramatic of these instances was two weeks before Christmas a few years ago when the boiler broke down and needed replacing urgently. Their engineers not only completed the job in just a few days but the cost was deferred and deducted from my rental income over four months despite me not even requesting this. In my view this was just extraordinary service in this day and age. In short, I could not recommend them more highly.
