Just very recently purchased my first property advertised by Patterson Hawthorn. Not only did everything go through smoothly, when it came able to viewing the property, as there were a few in the same price bracket and area, they were more than accommodating and allowed me to view all 3 on the same day, once I made my decision, the support and communication with my solicitor and the Rainham office was flawless and smooth as can be. Simon, who valued my house, was very professional and efficient and great with the camera! As soon as the house was on the market, there was a great interest and Zoe and David arranged all the viewings communicating with me at all times. This is my second experince at dealing with Patterson Hawthorn, the first was with the selling of my Mothers property which went very smoothly and the entire team was very professional from start to finish which is why I chose them again.
My second was selling our own property which was not as straight forward as my previous experience and has taken some months to complete. This was basically due to our initial buyer not really being fully interested or commited in buying the property and then Liz Truss throwing in her economic hand greande into the UK's financial market.
Our house eventually sold at a little less than the asking price and throughout the process David Howe and the team have supported us and assisted us all the way. I would highly recommend Patterson Hawthorn to anyone buying or selling a home, just hope that you have luck on your side with your process which is a big part of buying and selling a home.

Such a fantastic service from David and the team.
We had originally gone with a local agent and then moved to Patterson Hawthorn and the improvement in service was huge. The photos were much better and they sold our house the day it went on the market.
From start to finish, through several stressful moments, a pandemic and a stamp duty holiday period David always gave us excellent advice, knew what was best to do, and was brilliant at lining up back up plans for us when Plan A looked like it might not go ahead.
All the while David was lovely to talk to and so professional.

Davis has been dealing with the selling of my house which was sold within 48 hours. David has always given honest advise and always goes above and beyond.
From the 1st time we used them till now the service level hasn't changed. they are great and if (hopefully not) i move again then i will be calling them again.
I wouldn't use anyone else as for me they are always friendly, but professional and when they say they are going to do something they do, especially David.

We would like to say a big thank you to the Patterson Hawthorn team, David Howe especially, for all their help and support to buy our first home. My husband and I had initially been trying to purchase a property in Grays. Frustrated after 2 sales falling through, we contacted Patterson Hawthorn in October 2018.
From initial contact David's knowledge of the Rainham area was invaluable to us in deciding whether Rainham or Grays would be a better option for us. During our property search we have come across many awful estate agents who would try and use hard sales tactics. We never got that sense from David. He was professional, really focused on showing us the type of properties that we had indicated that we wanted and gave lots of great tips on how we could add value to the properties we saw.
We finally found a property late last year and moved in 1 week after lockdown! David again was reassuring and managed the sale process very well. We love our new home in Rainham, but if we ever want to move again, we will definitely reach out to Patterson Hawthorn first.

After looking one year for a property, location, as first time buyer, I found a house in Rainham in January 2020 advertised by Patterson Hawthorn Rainham. After my bad experience for a year with all kind of estate agencies pushing me to use their financial services and other services while I told them I already have everything in place, they have had bullying me so much, and I lost so many houses because of them as they said if I accept their financial services they will be able to push the seller to accept my offer, which I felt like they try to 'blackmailing. No chance any offer to be accepted, on one occasion they said the seller doesn't like me. However, my first contact with Patterson Hawthorn Rainham was when I found this house in January 2020, I mentioned above, and I was thinking that I foudn a house that I like but again the agency will want something. Actually was different, and for the first time I felt respect from an estate agency, when I put my offer in, they only ask me if I am interested in advise for mortgage or anything else and I said 'No', I have everything in place, and the agent David said 'That's fine'. I was impressed and I was happy with their professionalism and support. I have now complete and I m moving in the house I want, all this will all the help and support of Patterson Hawthorn Rainham. Thank you very much and I strongly recommend this Estate Agency to everyone who is looking to buy a property they want.

I placed my property for sale on 5th February and Patterson Hawthorn arranged over 40 viewings within the first two weeks. After accepting an offer, the sale was completed on 24th April. Seamless service from start to finish starting with Simon’s valuation which was honest and matched our own realistic expectations.
There was a steady flow of viewings from the outset with an offer of the asking price within a month of marketing.
The office negotiating team lead by David kept their finger on the pulse. All enquires/queries followed up promptly. We also appreciated their role as intermediaries between various estate agents.

Very bad service feel like there racist I offered asking price and vendor was ready to give and then offered a higher price but was given silly excuses and after 2days it was sold to someone else this estate agent dont treat customers equally and fairly absolutely appalling behaviour 2nd times had this happen on 2 separate occasions. Beware of Taylor Davies who dealt with everything
