As a buyer I was not impressed with the Shevington office. Only open 9-5.30 so if you want to view a property after work you have to wait till the weekend, and then they like to create a bidding war with a load of viewers at the same time. One agent showing us around turned up late and on another occasion they didn't even bother turning up and we were stood in the rain waiting for them. Really glad I didn't sell our house through them. Pretty poor attitude of the agents. After attempting to view 2 of their properties we stopped looking at what they were selling it wasn't worth the hassle. If I was a seller I would not use them. Keenans estate agents are fantastic, I know which one I'd choose.... Read more

I have dealt with Reeds Rains on numerous occasions over the past few years. Each time has been a first class service from the minute I walked through the door. I have recently been looking for a property to purchase, Janet took all my details and every day would look for properties that met my criteria then she would call me with anything new that came onto the market each day. Fantastic service from Janet making me feel special and looked after. Once my offer was accepted on a property I used Barbara, the mortgage adviser to help me with the application process and to go through multi scenarios for different mortgages. Luckily, both Janet and Barbara are very patient and understanding as I can be a bit of a nightmare when it comes to decision making. Reeds Rains knew the of property I was looking for & alerted me to this one before it had even gone on the market. They were very helpful from the start offering mortgage advice and recommending solicitors to use. The only point that would have made it up to 5 stars would have been if they had found out the status of the probate before marketing the property as this delayed the sale by 5 weeks. Janet was always chasing this for me and keeping me up to date - she was very professional even when I was getting frustrated. Great local branch who I would use again without hesitation....
