I recently sold a property but was up with a different estate agent to start with but 5 months down the line I only had about half a dozen views so I changed to Reeds Rains and within a couple of days I had a buyer . It as been a long time since I had sold a house so wasn’t sure how it all worked but I had nothing to worry about as all the staff at the Leyland branch were excellent.
I was kept up to date with everything .

I recently sold a property and used Reeds Rains for the sale. From day one everything went smoothly. I’d never sold a house before and was a little anxious as I didn’t know the procedure ….. I need’nt have worried. All the staff at the Leyland branch were excellent. I was kept up to date with everything that was going on and emailed regularly with updates. The lady I dealt with was Krystal and she really couldn’t do enough for me.
The whole sale (although slow going at first) was done professionally and timely. I would certainly recommend Reeds Rains to anyone thinking of selling their house.

Reeds Rains, Leyland, have always been very helpful, thorough and efficient. They have a close eye for detail and nothing seems to ever be too much trouble. They managed one rental property for me initially and since then I have asked them to manage another couple as I was so impressed with the quality of service. I have tried other agents but none of them came close to the service I received from Krystal, Carole and Mark throughout. I would happily recommend them as I do think the Leyland branch is exceptionally good!!

We are currently in the process of selling our home through Reeds Rains and have found them to be super helpful and did a great job of the initial advert and photographs, especially the virtual 360 tour they created which we believe did enhance the buyers experience when viewing our lovely home.
All in all, Krystal and Carole have been a pleasure to deal with and I would highly recommend them to others, as indeed we have today to a friend who is potentially looking to take their property to market soon too.
I would say, if you are looking to sell a property in the Leyland, Preston area, Reeds Rains in Leyland is well worth considering.

We've been considering renting a house that Reeds have on their books but trying to get information is a nightmare. You can ring on one day and said that we would take the house as we had already seen it and I was told they would speak to the landlord and get back to me and then when you ring them again because they haven't rung back and speak to a different person (an extremely rude person) and receive totally different information. I wouldn't recommend at all - not after the run around we've received.

5 years ago when we bought our first house, they've sold mortgage advisor services. Telling us that we need to pay once and next remortgages they going to do for free. When initial fixed term finished, they wanted to charge us for doing remortgage, after we said how they've sold us mortgage advisors services, they've agreed to do for free. But when next fixed rate has finished. I've been trying to contact them for ages after I've mentioned that they have sold theirs services for life. Never responded back. I've been waiting till last and by and of the fixed term, I've been pushed to do their job myself. Never again. So poor service. Not even mention that they have changed mortgage advisor three times before we completed our first buy.

Night Mare From HELL!!!! Took a tenancy for a property through Reeds Rains (Leyland) Hannah Winard. From the onset very disorganised, no structure! Numerous issues with the property, final straw the boiler broke, reported the breakdown to Amelia (maintenance) at 09.30 am and Nicole from Reeds Rains Leyland. No heat no hot water!!! Advised that we would receive help that day.....no help received, 12 hours on ..... very cold and probably spending the full night in freezing temperatures????????????!!! This is the final straw that broke the Camels back !!! Hang your heads in shame Anne Pilkington and the staff at Reeds Rains , Leyland, you have no integrity what so ever !!!!

I cant thank the manager Lisa enough.
She was the 1st agent we got for a valuation. Unfortunately and regrettably we decided to go with another agent at the time. After a few months with not much happening we swapped to another agent (with the hopes of buying 1 of their listings). Throughout the next 6months we had lots of viewings and some early silly offers. I was deliberating changing to Lisa when finally after 9months we got a buyer and we proceeded to buy 1 of Lisa's listings. Throughout all this time Lisa was very proactive and kept in contact with me every month (more than the previous 2 agents). She was a tremendous help and support especially on that last week of 'exchange' and the morning of the move. She was the only professional of my side of the 4person chain to chase things up and showed her concern for us. I already recommended her to other people. I don't plan on ever moving but if I did I would want Lisa. Also thanks to the other colleagues who I spoke to in the branch.

They constantly arranged viewings, there was never a quiet period where I didn't feel like they were pushing my house to be sold. They held the majority of my viewings without any hassle at all (I held a few), they made all the arrangements with the potential buyers and it all flowed smoothly. When it came down to negotiating and accepting of the offer on my house, Lisa provided me with lots of advice and acted as the go between, between myself and the eventual buyer of my house.

I used Reeds Reeds to sell my house on Albert Road, to move to Malta, I had NEVER ever sold a house before. Lisa was re-assuring and guided me through the process. The team were on hand to help me whenever I popped in, always a friendly face to help. Safe to say I won't be back in Leyland BUT if any one ever asked me I would be recommending REEDS RAINS.

The staff here were wonderful, they went above and beyond to help us buy our first home, answering any and all of the many questions that we had. In particular, Chris Costello, our mortgage advisor was brilliant. He kept in touch throughout the whole process, gave us expert advice and followed up with us, making it a pleasant experience. We had our house on the market with Farrell & Heyworth and weren’t having much luck. I was reserved about using Reeds Rains as we had to pay a small amount up front but so glad I did. They took a drone shot of the front of the house that looked miles better. We had 3 viewings within a week of each other and a buyer gave us close to the asking price thanks to Lisa & Sharon for negotiating.
I would recommend highly to anyone looking for a personal friendly service !

Highly recommend!! I recently used Reeds Rains to sell my mothers house and have been very impressed by the service I received, the branch manager Lisa Danylenko has great local knowledge and got us an acceptable offer within 2 weeks of going on the market. I will be using again in future!!

Extremely poor service provided by this company. If you do take on a rental, take photos of everything to back up the poor conditions the property has been left in prior to your agreement or you will be footing the bill. If you have problems with your facilities you will have to organise them and chase them up constantly to have them repaired.
