We would like to leave a personal review for Janet Bolton who has provided an exceptional service for us for over 10 years now and before that for our father when Janet was at Reeds Rains Shevington.
She is always helpful and friendly and efficient and was always our go to person whenever we had any issues with our properties or tenants, most of whom she knew.
In this day and age of remote communication the personal service now means even more. She is highly commended and certainly recommended to anyone who is looking for immediate action, fine service and that personal touch

I rented a property via Reeds Rains (Wigan) in April 2024 and have had nothing but trouble since.
During the viewing and application stage, the staff at St Helen's were great.
Once the agreement had been signed and the property handed back to the Wigan branch, the stress began.
The property was filthy dirty inside, despite the promise of a cleaner attending prior to handover and the agreement stating the property must be clean.
Various problems arose that should have been dealt with prior to handover and reporting these was incredibly difficult.
Using the Fix Flo system didn't seem to get a response and so I began emailing the property manager, Jessica Driscoll directly.
At first, Jessica was responding and looked like they were doing something, however, that wasn't the case.
I sent email after email without reply, the last one being an eleven (11) day wait, after which I emailed again to say I'd be commencing legal action for breach of contract, suddenly, things started to happen.
I've been assured everything will be dealt with but have no faith in Reeds Rains and wouldn't recommend, especially if the property is managed by the Wigan branch.

I am actually giving there 5 stars to Mr. Alan Adams. Highly professional and humble man, the best agent I have come across in Wigan. I had so many viewings recently but no one could match his excellence. He explained each and every thing with so much patience, being a first time buyer he gave me extra tips and tricks. I wish all the agents were as good as him.

Would have been a 5, however after putting my offer to the buyer and him excepting the offer reeds rains continued to book people in to view the property resulting in the price being raised and costing me more. The dhole this seemed a bit dodgy considering it had been on the market over 6 months empty gave no previous interest. Then all of a sudden when my offer went in the had sudden interest in the property.

Me and my partner went viewing one of the properties and honestly hands down the BEST viewing we have had. Alan Adams who showed us around and explained everything that we asked about and even more! Such a gentleman and would 100% recommend the estate agents as their efforts from the office staff to the agents doing the viewings are absolutely amazing! couldn't recommend any estate agents any more then Reeds Rains.
