I would not even give this a 1 star. Our experience with IKRAM, an estate agent, was nothing short of a nightmare. He scammed us into moving out of a rental property we had hoped to purchase this year. We had a strong relationship with the landlady and had a verbal agreement that the property would be sold to us when we were ready.
However, IKRAM repeatedly lied to us, fabricating a story that the landlady wanted to move back into the house with her family. He didn't provide a written notice but swore on the name of God that he was not lying. He made sure that we shouldn't speak to the landlady. Trusting him, especially since my father had a friendly relationship with him, we reluctantly agreed to move out.
We were devastated and feared homelessness, given only a month's time to find a new place. To our shock, we later discovered that IKRAM had moved into the house himself. This betrayal was absolutely traumatic for our family as we believed this was going to be our forever home.
IKRAM is a deceitful and manipulative estate agent. Avoid him at all costs.

We rented out our property and former family home through Re/Max star on Henley Road and were left disappointed. We were on a guaranteed rent scheme and the rent was always a received few days late. The tenants were clearly subletting and Re/max star turned a blind eye to it. We gave specific instructions that the shed should not be given as part of the letting yet the tenants were given the key and were occupying it. There was damage to the property (beyond normal wear and tear) which the managing agent failed to spot or do anything about or do anything about. In fact, they didn't bother to take photos of the property at the start of the tenancy as promised.
