I cannot stress this enough, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They were meant to be managing the building I live in, but have done no maintenance since before lockdown. Major problems with the building like water pressure, leaking roof and intercoms not working were ignored for over 4 years. Video attached of the leaking roof...... Read more

As others have mentioned, there’s no point working with these people. They’re clueless as advisors and never seemed to have any idea what was going on with the house I tried to book with them. They were barely responsive after collecting a holding deposit from me, and after letting me down on the property promised a refund — which after more than a month of following up I’m still yet to receive. The ‘finance department’ are either not in on that day or very busy and will call back which, predictably, never happened. 0 stars.... Read more

I'm writing this review out of sheer frustration with Josh's property service. Our initially organized 4-week stay was thrown into chaos when he informed us, at the last minute, that we couldn't stay at the booked location. Shuffling between accommodations during our exam period was disruptive. A full day of our stay was taken away due to the disruptions. What made the situation worse is that Josh promised compensation for the inconvenience but hasn't delivered on it. I would strongly recommend avoiding this firm.... Read more

After arranging to stay in Josh's property in Canterbury for 4 weeks, he informed us just days before our move-in that we couldn't stay at the planned location. This forced us to move to an alternative place and then again to the original location 2 weeks later, causing inconvenience. We even lost a whole day out of our stay. On top of this, we were promised compensation for the inconvenience, which we haven't received. This was all during our busy exam period. Would not recommend staying under their properties!... No communication between the team. Only interested about their commission. Wasn’t advised of parking, heating, boiler etc. Basically move in and sort it yourself! Didn’t want to help you and blagged their way out of everything when didn’t know the answer. Would not recommend at all! Awful letting agents and an awful landlord. They let me move into a property that had a chipboard exterior wall and not inform us of this for 6 months of living there, until I noticed mould growing within the house due to it rotting away on the outside. Toilet was plumbed in with hot water rather than cold, door handles falling off and not being replaced, no intercom buzzer installed and no set of keys for the back entrance. No respect for their tenants or their living conditions, and don’t have the decency to respond to you - would not recommend!!... Read more

Very bad service! Was waiting for 4 month on a new washing machine and reviewed a old one, used and not fully working one. Paying for extra parking and have trouble with getting a parking space after my late shift. No one is fixing the main doors every one can walk at your door - not secured and people living rubis on the coridore, as well the soor is banging very strong as soon it's more windy you can't sleep in the night it's so noisy! Was promised flat will be refreshed bofore moving in and nothing was done until the next 4 weeks after I moved in.... Read more

I was shown around a property in Maidstone, and after paying the holding deposit of £169, was told that the current tenant had decided to stay in the property and that they would give me a refund. It’s now been a month since this has happened, and despite many emails and phone calls of me asking when will I get my money back, I am just being ignored and still have not been refunded. I am starting to question whether I am ever going to receive it back. Now I am considering paying a fee to take them to small claims court. So I would not recommend ever giving any money to this firm unless you want to risk not receiving it back having to pay a fee to take them to small claims court, as it sounds like this has happened before on previous reviews. I have been Renting through Richmond Chase for almost 3 years now over 2 different properties. I've had people added to my lease and have asked for many docs needed from them over the years and at every time I have received a quick and professional service. I am currently still waiting for a security deposit I was promised 4 weeks ago. I paid it to secure a student flat for next year, I sent them the money and went a week without response, only for them then to tell me someone else got there first and that they would refund the money. I lost a few weeks worth of looking else where for accommodation and have missed out on several since due to not being able to pay other deposits on time. The service here is beyond shocking, if you are a student looking at a room these thieving idiots have up I would advise to avoid them like the plague, no matter how good the room seems to be. That also reminds me, when I went to see the room in question it was filthy, muck and dirt everywhere and the person showing us around had absolutely no idea what he was talking about. He got all of the prices and facts wrong, and advised on bills packages that later turned out not to exist.... Read more

If I could give them zero stars, I would. The most incompetent staff, who never do what they say they will. They lie about property details on adverts and are not helpful to the tenants when there are maintenance issues with their properties. Stay away from them!... Read more

The most useless, lazy, letting agents I've ever had to correspond with. I've had constant issues with the house I have moved to and the agents at Richmond Chase don't bother getting back to me about any of it even though a few issues are cause for serious health risks.
