I've been looking for flats in Birmingham for about a month now and had a range of bad experiences with other agents - group viewings, lack of transparency about rental prices, encouraging competitive applications etc. Robert Powell have been great so far. Jaydon was really helpful and professional during the viewing. He was also open and transparent during the offer process and Jaydon and colleagues in the office promptly answered any questions. Thanks for all your help finding a great flat :)

Any tenants who are thinking of letting with these, please be ready to set aside a minimum of £140 of your deposit because as they admitted to me themselves to me on check-out day, the cleaners are already booked at your expense before the check-out report has even been started - which of course consists of photos taken at cherry picked angles with the flash on to find the slightest of water marks or dust. Fortunately their paperwork wasn’t in order so I was able to claim back via TDS.

We liaised with Robert Powell as potential buyers. We interacted with about 10 different estate agents in Harborne/Edgbaston while attempting to purchase a property in summer 2023 and Robert Powell were by far the best, e.g., they don't list rooms that are clearly not bedrooms as bedrooms, unlike at least 2 other agents and don't demand to see mortgage agreements in principle or confirmation of offers to book viewings (booking viewings was very straightforward). Through Sunil Jaswal, we put in an offer on one of their properties and he could not have been more helpful in negotiating the price and generally going above and beyond (the sale ultimately fell through due to us being unable to sell our own property (with a different agent) due to the state of the market). We were very impressed by Sunil's extensive knowledge of the market, integrity, honesty, and desire to find solutions that work for the buyer and vendor. We would certainly recommend Robert Powell and hope to be able to use them again in the future.

I'm currently renting a property with Robert Powell Estate Agents. I needed to secure a flat before I moved to Birmingham from Ireland, and the agents were very understanding of this. They supplied me with a video and pictures of the property and answered my enquiries quickly and clearly. The whole application process was very straightforward and I was able to move into the property with little stress or hassle. I would recommend using this agency if you are looking to rent a property in the Birmingham area

I've been using Robert Powell for a number of years to rent out a property I have. They came recommended by a friend who had used them to purchase and rent out a few properties. The team are always pleasant and knowledgeable, whether it be in relation to purchases, sales, renovations or rental. In relation to rental, they are able to get the right calibre of tenant into the property using their expertise and contacts, something I really appreciate
