Thank you Roundtree Estate agents. What an amazing company to do business with. Matthew who was our main contact, went above and beyond to support my elderly parents (and me) when we sold their flat. I could write a book about all the things he did to support us because we encountered so much drama (not related to Roundtree) when it came to the sale. Even when I called the office, his colleagues were polite, kind and patient. I would recommend Rountree as a wonderful firm to do work with.

I dealt with Saul Fagelson a couple of years back and he might not even remember me. Nothing actually came of it, but I remember the experience well enough to mention it to Moshe when I met him. What I said was that I haven't often come across agents who were so friendly, honest and at the same time professional. Roundtree is lucky having Saul working with them !

I was disappointed for Roundtree NOT informing tenants about change of date for inspection of property. I did not expect a stranger to open the door straightaway with the management set of keys, without knocking the door or asking anyone inside the property in the very beginning. Luckily, I have put on the door chain when I was alone in the property.
The staff who conducted inspection only stating he was conducting inspection and reschedule of inspection not until I asked. I understand the staff would have to test the CO2 alarm to comply with regulations but I would recommend the staff to inform the tenants before testing the alarm (which the staff did not do so). I found the alarm very irritating, especially when I did not expect that to happen. There was even the noise alert popping up on my Apple Watch.
And upon the staff's departure, I realize he kept some of the lights opened and the storage door opened (which I always keep the door closed to reduce dust from getting into the storage room). I can't imagine what will happen to the property if I was away during the inspection.
30/7 Update: Dear the team @ Roundtree,
Unfortunately, I still have not been reached out by you regarding this inspection. I am really disappointed with a company which speaks with a forked tongue. I really wish there will be no customer who share the same experience with me.

We rented from Roundtree for over 2 years. The whole process couldn’t have been nicer. Soraya in particular was a joy to deal with when we were viewing the place, always helpful and never pushy. When we moved out recently she was also so helpful and reassuring. In our 2 year tenancy any issues were dealt with swiftly and efficiently and we were never made to feel annoying reporting issues like I had with other agencies. Even though our barrier to staying in our current housing almost miraculously dissolved in the last few days, I had a postive, respectful and appropriately enthusiastic telephone interaction with Adam P. Having worked in customer related roles for decades, I can hear quickly when someone both cares about what they are doing and other Human beings. The Lettings market is a horrible experience right now, with anything decent being snapped up within about 24 hours in a fight for viewings and offers...worse than Job hunting or online dating! with the added pressure of living seperately from my partner still, but expecting our first child in 20 weeks, well....who wants to deal with Estate agents who put quick money before Manners? Adam listened to our unique situation and apparently knew his company's operation and what they would be able to do. I believe I would have been comfortable with Roundtree as the lettings agent if we had gone with them, as opposed to some of the clear alarm bells I had with other companies recently. No idea how long you have been at Roundtree, Adam, nor where you are in your career, but I hope you will always be appreciated professionally.

Instead of being professional and sending me an email informing me that, the landlord wanted the flat back (no fault of my own), they just sent an eviction notice through landlord rights. This made my heart skip a beat, as I thought I had done something. Also they have mould problems with their properties.

We dealt with Vio in our search for a property for rent. She was straightforward and professional in our correspondence which should be the way anyways, but for our case, I was impressed by the way she handled the move given constraints around covid and the lockdown. She communicated effectively and was flexible around the whole situation. The flat we moved in was not completely ready in terms of maintenance (which we are tolerant given circumstances), but I hope that it will be taken care of in a timely manner by the management team so that I may adjust the review to 5 stars.

Very disappointing service. I was called regarding a property my husband and I were interested in and mentioned we'd also like to view similar properties. The lady said she'll call me back in the evening to see if we could view the property the next day. I didn't gwt a call back and I called everyday for three days. I was promised a call back which never happened. I finally spoke to her today and she explained an offer has already been put through. Well thank you for letting us know and thank you for the apology we didnt get having to run around for a reply. She then asked how many people were looking but I'm sorry, i gave you all this information already and I'm not wasting my time again. We'll take our custom else where.

Absolutely terrible agency to deal with.
They are rude, AWOL when any problems arise and very unprofessional. You will be hitting a brick wall with them. The agency themselves are extremely negligent and speak to you as if you owe them something.
If you're a student I'd advise you to go with someone else. Not to mention they do not do an inventory every year, and will make it very difficult for you and if you do not keep a record of any problems or your interactions with them. They will lie to your face.

I have personally met with both the bosses (Mark Block and Martin Frydenson) and found them to be extremely rude. I cannot stress how much I would not recommend using this company. Ken, Dov and Soraya have worked ruthlessly and tirelessly to get my studio apartments let. They have gone the extra mile on several occasions to make sure the tenants are thoroughly checked and vetted so that I don't have to worry about the quality of tenants in the building.
I would highly recommend the roundtree lettings team to any respectable tenants and landlords in the Hendon area.

You can find perfect trio in the office. One girl always smiling like as if they took her there only for this. One guy has pretty decent memory and always give you promises that someone will call you soon, but nobody actually do. And the last guy like a mouse - looks quiet and humble, but may bring any sort of disappointment if you take him seriousy. Each one is perfect team member to waste your time.

Poor communication, I have been waiting over a week for a response. Despite going to the office on two occasions.
I have walked in, asked to see a copy of the contract I am expected to sign, yhe gentalman denied me this, upon asking why this is the case he became extremely defensive and rude.
I am now nolonger willing to be a cuatomer of theirs.

Slow to fix two broken radiators during a cold wave where temperatures dropped to below zero. Promises of return calls that then never happen. When they did send someone, only one of the two radiators was fixed. A broken smoke detector went (at least) 7 months unreplaced. They add a clause in the contracts that says tenants must allow viewings during the last month of tenancy. If this doesn't clash with the right of the tenants to the enjoyment of their home it should be fine. But they have a complete disregard for that right. Often viewings happen without 24 hour notice. They don’t ask permission, they inform via email that a viewing will take place. In one case, there were 40 minutes of notice on a Sunday at lunch time (they close on Saturdays but open on Sundays). Dozens of viewings took place when I was not present at the property. In two occasions the lights were left on for the rest of the day. After another viewing, a lamp appeared broken. When some of these things were brought to their attention, there was no apology given or even an acknowledgement. I see positive reviews from landlords and negative reviews from other tenants. As a former tenant, I would recommend anyone else to stay away.

I have been delighted with the service given by Roundtree. As a current tenant of theirs, I would really reccomend their services.
They are pleasant, professional, understanding and they get the job done.
I recently snapped my key in the front door, and couldn't get into my house. I called roundtree and within 10 minutes a locksmith had come round, replaced the key and opened the door!
That is fantastic customer service and I am delighted that myself and my wife chose roundtree as our agents.

Roundtree were very professional and courteous throughout the whole process of our purchasing a house through them. Saul Fagelson particularly I could not recommend enough for his professionalism and good humour. He has an excellent manner: he totally got what type of property we were looking for. He enabled me to see the potential in the properties we went to view but at the same time was very patient and not at all 'pushy'. If it wasn't for Saul we wouldn't have even considered buying the wonderful home we now own.
We are grateful to Saul and to Mark Block and all his team for making what can be a very stressful process into one that was as smooth as possible.

I just wanted to take the time to thank a specific agent Ajay Shah . He has been the most polite estate agent I have ever come across . Today in particular I had to cancel a house viewing due to a housemate dropping out last minute wich not only effected my day but also Ajays but as the professional he is , he made sure I didn't feel bad about the cancellation and intact found me another property to view , for me and my other house mates . Not only is the property in our budget , it's also in a great location we wanted . He is a very helpful gentleman and I would recommend him to anyone . :)

I have to compliment Matthew Lachs and Saul Fagelson at Roundtree on the professional manner that they dealt with the sale of our property. They knew exactly the right potential buyers to get through the door to ensure that we were able to get the price that we wanted without having to make ourselves available for huge numbers of viewings. Further, they were always quick to respond to my messages and available when required, and went the extra mile to assist with coordinating a lengthy and complicated chain to get us to an exchange.

We used Roundtree both for lettings and then bought a house for which they were the agent. We were delighted with them. On the lettings side they were helpful in finding somewhere, negotiating with the landlord and then when we wanted to leave early they put huge effort into finding someone else to take on our let property to ensure that we could proceed with our purchase. Whilst tenants they were swift to deal with any maintenance issues that arose and never questioned when we called to say there was a problem.
On the purchase they were responsive and engaged and very honest regarding the position on everything. It helped that we had great sellers too but Roundtree helped ensure what can be a very stressful process was relatively stress free.
Overall they are a thoroughly nice bunch of people to deal with. We didn't find them pushy and I would definitely use them again (although hope we don't need to for a while)!

Terrible service. Firstly trying to arrange a viewing was extremely frustrating, four phone calls to try to receive confirmation. I did receive confirmation via telephone but wanted it in writing (never received). I then travelled one and a half hours to view a flat, turns out it wasnt available and it was a house that somebody was already living in (the homeowner advised me to avoid them)! I did receive a text as I was arriving explaining that it was no longer available. Knowing this was a complete lie, I ventured to the premises of the agent hoping to get some answers, only to find that it was shut. I phoned their number and they explained that they were not actually roundtree but only a third party handling calls in liverpool (0208 numbers are london based). He assured me that I will receive a call shortly about travel compensation, I won't hold my breath.....

Awful estate agent! I use the word estate agent in it's broadest term. I have been trying to view a property, called several times & left numerous messages but no response. Why advertise a property if you have no intention of letting potential buyers view it?
I think if I were the seller I would be even more frustrated, how could you possibly sell the property if the agents won't call potential buyers & make arrangements?
I don't know if this is down to incompetence or just sheer laziness, either way doesn't bode well for buyers nor sellers. So I make this recommendation, if you are serious about either buying or selling a property then avoid these jokers & save yourself some time.

Most awful letting agents imaginable!!! Have complained about not having lights in the toilet and bathroom for 2 months and have not been repaired . Have had an ongoing problem getting hot water and are slow to repair not only that been scalded by burning water in the shower. the agents are unhelpful slow to repair and do not return the calls quickly. I m thinking of complaining to the housing ombudsman about their lack of responsibility to properties

Mark and his team are truly outstanding real estate agents. Not only are they very patient but they also take the time to understand what you are looking for in the market. Letting Agent changed the meeting time several times and ultimately failed to meet me at the property or return my calls, which meant I was waiting around miles out of my way for nothing one evening this week. Subsequently I received no contact from him, not even a simple text to apologise.

Unfortunately, Roundtree provided us with the most horrific service I have ever experienced....
Poor management of the property, poor communication and rude employees to say the least, not to mention that agents never reply to your email/calls.
I WOULD NOT recommend this agency to anyone...unless of course you don't mind to live with a broken toilet for 2 weeks or end up with a court case due to misleading information the agents have given you.
